Pleasantly surprised.

published

Purchased this for my small studio apartment and it works well. It does require charging after about 10 minutes but for my small space it works. It takes up very little space and the docking system is great. I haven’t tried it on the car yet as a handheld but I’m sure it’ll handle it.

Works perfect evey time!

published

Very happy with only paying $29 for this vaccum. I use it most nights to vacuum up kitty litter from my cat and fluff/fur from her also and it's fantastic. I was considering buying the dyson stick and am.) so glad i didnt as this works just as well and i save like $800!! This works perfectly well for a small unit. I have laminate floors so dont know how well it works on carpet but for $29 no harm in buying to try it!

A decent Stick for very light load

published

It cost 29$, and I did not want to spend more on a vaccum as I stay in a place which has tiled hard flooring, but bedroom has carpet so I was not worried about the power .

It does an amazing job on hard surfaces, but falls miserably short on carpet as the power it generates is not enough to clean the dust which is very rigid

PROS
Light, cleans hard surface very nicely, very compact, can be used to clean sofas too
Cons
Does not clean the carpet areas properly at all

What a little ripper!

published

I love this stick vac and use it everyday for a quick cleanup around our apartment. It is great to clean up the spilt kitty litter around the tray and to clean up the hair left in the bathroom. It cleans all the cat fur from the floors and is perfect for that quick clean up without the hassle of pulling the big vac out. It is light and easy to use, easy to empty and easy to store. Love it.

Does the job

published

I just moved to Sydney and had to buy a lot of things. Bought the Kmart vacuum instead of the pricier Dyson counterpart to keep to my budget. My new apartment was turned over dusty and I had to really clean up before settling. This vacuum is light and versatile. It did a good job even with the corners.

Great product for the price.

published

This vacuum is perfect has good suction and picks up the dirt in my apartment well. It's light and very easy to use for quick spills or normal cleans. Has a washable hepa filter and is bagless. Cleans my floating floor well and makes my floor ready for moping. The vacuum is no louder than any other vacuum i have used.

Not as good as dyson

published

It's not the best vacuum I've ever owned but not the worst either. The suction is pretty average and i often have to stop to sort it out from being clogged with my dog's hair. Its noisy but pretty much what I'd expect from a vacuum cleaner. I think it'd be a good vacuum cleaner if you didn't have much money to spare and you didn't have any dogs. Otherwise I'd say dyson is your best bet

Good Value for Price

published

It is light and easy to manoeuvre, for its price it's not bad overall. However if you have pets and need stronger power in a vacuum, this is not for you. Cannot pick up chunky waste. I use it for my apartment with carpet, for small areas it's not bad.

All what I needed!

published

I could never cope with vacuuming until I got this one! Easy to handle, maybe a bit heavier than expected but still good enough. I was looking for something for a short term, so it was a great deal, cleans easily carpet and tiles and doesn't need much room to put it away.

Great Must Have Vacuum

published

Very happy with Kmart Stick Vac. Much better suction than I was expecting. Lightweight which is great, easy to assemble and easy to take apart for emptying. Easy to dismantle to use the handheld section which is great for vacuuming the car. Takes up very little space. I don't need to drag out the big vacuum as often which is a BIG bonus. Good cheap buy, only $29. Can't complain about that. This vac is my MUST HAVE.

Tops to use light to move around, having a bad back. Easy to empty, good for everyday use and windows. Just go from one room to another does not matter what it is carpet or vinyl, no changing ends. Would recommend this to everyone who wants to top up around the house.

Very Pleased

published

I purchased this little vacuum after reading a number of reviews. I have used it once and must say that I am absolutely amazed at the stuff which it sucked up. This was not long after I had used my current (Vax) cleaner which seems to have very poor suction. Also the current cleaner cost approx 3 times the price of the KMart cleaner. The Kmart one is also heaps quieter than the previous one. Exceptionally happy with this vacuum cleaner.

Love it

published

I am very happy with this vacuum. It is light weight and makes vacuuming hard to reach areas like under the bed easily. The only downside is that I find it quite hard to pull apart to empty and cleaning the filter is a bit messy. Otherwise it great value for money.

Cheap, Convenient but not powerful enough

published

I newly moved to a rented apartment four months back so I thought of going for a cheap Vacuum cleaner and a new one. Kmart's 2 in 1 corded vacuum was the obvious choice but not the best one. It does the job well. It will clean off the obvious dust and waste paper lying on the carpet but it can't suck threads or deep dust stuck on carpet. I have to use my hand and feed it to the vacuum. but still worth the price.

Very convenient to use

published

The vacuum is definitely worth the price. The cord might get tangled sometimes but it is long enough for you to cover the entire area. If you are considering for a cheap bargain, this vacuum is bang for the bucks. The vacuum is also quiet and very efficient. Great fir carpets and timber flooring.

Good for quick touch up vacuming

published

The suction isn't the best and the chamber fills up fast but it's OK for quick touch up cleaning or to clean up a spill. Is lightweight and easy to use and charge in the docking station. Works just as well as the more commercial cleaners at my work. It's a bit noisy on tiles but nothing major.

Less is more in this case.

published

Purchased this with no thought as my top end stick vac died after a short time so for $29 not even 10% of my last vac how can I go wrong.
Yes it is corded but no charging or weakening battery, this vac really does work with great roller head and a flip out crevice tool always on hand no more looking for that extra piece and can also be used as a dust wand buster.
The filter is great also as it has a plastic outer so dust and bits don't stick to it when emptying it.
Not a vac for full home cleaning but a very simple unit with great thought gone into it this makes the perfect handy vac for small spills and quick floor clean ups.

No fuss, quick and easy.

Very happy with the performance, particularly the hand held option.
It is light and easy to use for those unexpected mishaps.
The main use area is the lounge dining and kitchen where there is a mix of carpet and tiles.
The handheld option is great when cleaning the car using the special nozzle for sucking out between the seat and seat back.
