The bed side is lined with silicon dots to prevent sliding of sheets, which is a good idea. has a generous try before you buy policy, with free delivery for piece of mind, but i didnt need to take it up (note dont need to keep packaging.

Koala has a brilliant website, the order & delivery process was amazing and the couch was super easy to assemble. The design is very clever. But the unknown with a couch is how comfy it is. This one is fantastic, both the couch and as a bed - rare to get both right in a sofa bed. It also looks as good as the pictures - very modern & minimalist but still comfy.

So happy I purchased this. I have only ever had a single bed in the spare room because of space and have always been reluctant to go sofa bed after a bad experience many years ago. But this sofa bed is awesome - stylish and comfortable, both as a sofa and as a bed. Semi permanent house guests are thrilled with their great nights sleep.

Looks and feels terrific and happy to give 5 stars but we didn’t find the written instructions till the last box. Videos show a young woman ripping through installation emptying boxes and throwing it together. For two older people in a small space it was quite heavy awkward work. All the bits slot together perfectly IF you manage to get the holes lined up. Satisfying result though and I would say definitely worth the effort,

From ordering to assembly the Koala Sofa Bed was easy, looks good and is comfortable to sit on. Preparing the bed is as easy as it looks on the website. The only thing is that the mattress is really hard which i prefer to a soft bed.

I bought this sofabed online because they promised it would arrive in 5 business days and I needed somewhere for my parents to sleep when they came to visit. The sofabed did not arrive in the 5 business days so in the end I had to make other arrangements. I was in touch with Koala throughout and though they were very friendly, they couldn’t confirm when it would arrive and couldn’t give me any details on where it was in the shipping process. I have requested a refund as the sofabed did not arrive and there is no point in it arriving now that my parents have left again.

I love that this is a queen size sofa bed. Recently, my husband and I bought a king size Koala mattress which meant our previous queen bed sheets were of no use until we got the Koala sofa bed. Some sofa beds aren't a generic bed size so I'm glad and love Koala for coming up with the Queen size sofa bed.

I was looking specifically for a full queen sized sofa bed as most barely rate as double beds. I found a few, most of which have those horrible fold out steel frames and virtually not support for the so called mattress. I was very happy to find the Koala sofa bed that not only has a full depth foam mattress but also looks like a designer sofa when not in use. Its VERY easy to convert from sofa to bed. Just grab the middle of the backrest, pull forward and the sofa unfolds across the floor. Instant bed. Converting it back to a sofa also takes less than 5 seconds.

Its very comfortable as a sofa, and its very comfortable as a bed - which is what you would expect from a full depth (20cm plus) foam mattress.
