Very Disappointed on the product.
The name is smart Tv, but not familiar with smart products. The operating system is very slow. Didn't let me upgrade the firmware even I've followed the instruction exactl which has provided on the kogan website. The TV is really bad and waste of my Money.
Purchased in August 2021.

Not so smart TV
I purchased this TV in late 2014 so it's almost lasted 5 years which is good I guess, however I've had many issues with it over the years. When I first purchased the TV, the remote that came with it only lasted a month or so before I had to buy a replacement. The Apps on the TV have never properly functioned so I've always used Chromecast or Apple TV to plug and play which has been fine but completely defeats the purpose of having a Smart TV in the first place. The sound isn't fantastic and the picture is sometimes sluggish. For the last couple...Read more
of years, it's been taking longer and longer to turn on with me sometimes turning it on 10 minutes or so before it opens up the home page. Last night in the middle of watching The Bachelor, right at the most dramatic part of the show, the TV just turned itself off completely, came back on but got stuck on the start up "Kogan" white screen. I haven't been able to turn it back on since. I've tried the reboot that Kogan has on their website and still no luck so I guess it's going in the bin as I can't resurrect it. Very disappointing considering it wasn't exactly cheap when I purchased it. I paid $65 for extended 3 year warranty which now has lapsed unfortunately. I do have another smaller Kogan TV for the bedroom which isn't a Smart TV and I've never had an issue so I would imagine the problems I'm having has to do with the hardware of this particular model. Not very impressed unfortunately and has certainly put me off buying another Smart TV altogether. Definitely don't recommend this specific product.Purchased in August 2021 at Kogan.com for A$642.00.

AVOID Kogan TVs
This is the second Kogan TV that we have "tried". You would think that I had learned after purchasing a previous Kogan TV. To avoid go on and one I will cut to the chase.
AVOID Kogan TVs and electronic products in general as they often/regularly have software issues. You may say OH that happens with some often manufactures and YES you would be correct but with Kogan it happens every other week.
You get what you pay for cheap-rubbish that has on going issues.
Do yourself a favor and if you want cheap by Hisense where one at least gets 3 years warranty.

Use it daily, works great as a Display apps arent the best but hey
The picture is great, contrast is great for 749 i paid all those years ago i just wanted to put a review that it works great, never missed a beat. The apps arent great but I wasnt expecting it to be the best. I use my laptop on it and i cant complain at all. I have it on my wall and use it daily. I keep firmware up to date when i can. Im gentle on TVs leave it on and goes to sleep when i fall asleep. Thousands of hours i have no complaints for the price when 50" TV 3d were $3000+ at the time
Writing this on it now still works great 4-5 years later

A poor dumb thing!!
I have at least 6 Kogan products including 2 TV's. All good at the price. Recommended to family, never again. Seemed O.K. then got NBN and tried to use Smart bit useless!!!!! Tried upgrade now delay in all functions looses date every time power off. Catch up TV doesn't work, pause to USB keeps jumping and then freezes. I have a Kogan twin tuner set top box on another TV works perfectly cost $39 go figure.

I am not satisfied at all, never buy cheap products!
I bought this TV refurbished, now it is the second time it stops working. First time I had to pay 170$ to Kogan for service, I don't know how much they gonna charge me now!!!
Next time I will make sure to buy original things not cheap Chinese products at all!! If you do it, better do it well!!

Absolutely bad product and customer service
This TV stop working and still under warranty have contacted Kogan since last 24 days and they have arrange pick up from Toll IPEC courier. They not even came to my place and said no one is at the location. Have contacted Kogan many times as well as Toll IPEC they keep promising and this TV hasn't been pick up yet. This is really stressing because I have keep this TV at my workplace. Better to spend bit more money and get quality product because at the end It will be same.

Is not a smart tv
we have had every problem listed on this site, apps, time, recording, streaming, and the FRIENDLY kogan helpers keep telling us to use the firmware. YES!!! we have, ABC and SBS apps have the problem!!! no we have. Now, I want to return it and am showing my Husband this site to convince him to put it in the box. "Chat now" have told me these problems are not covered by warranty, you think so? How about Australian consumer Law? Product not fit for the purpose??

Now, Kogan are telling me that I cannot view the TV while my Husband is using his headphones. We checked this BEFORE purchase, now they are relying on the word VIEWING to mean seeing not hearing. Consumer Affairs here we come
Kogan have sent us a 2017 replacement TV, as well as a Chrome cast to connect it to the Internet. Kogan repaired the Smart TV 3 times out of warranty before admitting it was faulty. I agreed to take this review down, but do not know how

Not very SMART!
Have had my 47" Agora Smart 3D LED TV (Full HD) for 7 months now and I would not recommend it. The wireless is useless, connecting with an ethernet cable is not much better, firmware upgrade does not resolve issues (and I've upgraded firmware a couple of times to try this). The remote is very sluggish and often goes off on a tangent flicking back and forward between different screens. Even the EPG just simply doesn't work (won't update). Recording tv programs doesn't work either.
Used simply as a tv and more so a 3D tv it is not too bad (espec...Read more

NOT HAPPY JAN
I've had my Dumb 3DTV for a year, and I'm amazed I have put a brick through it. Apps fail all the time, SBS onDemand and iView don't work, screen freezes up and unit suddenly decides, I'm going to reboot now, no warning, this the worst piece of crap I have even wasted my money on, I'd NEVER EVER encourage anyone to buy from Kogan.
I'm planning to get a Smart3DTV from an better supplier, Samsung, LG or Panasonic, in August 2015, and I will with much delight, throw my Angora from the balcony, to the trash.
NEVER AGAIN, I'm just glad I never bought the 55"

Good value for money & Happy
I had the unit for two weeks and happy overall. The picture quality including 3D is very good. Sound is decent though I recommend external speakers. Good surprise is .. although the description says 1 pair of 3d glasses are included there are 4 in the box. The TV is full of features. WiFi works fine but note! wireless keyboard or mouse kill wifi. Hooked up old mouse in USB port helps to get around android apps. The only cons is a terrible manual. Paid $639 with free delivery (on special) - good value for money.
Quality picture and heaps of features.
Terrible user manual.

No Home Network - Ripped Off
I received my tv 3 days before Christmas. Was sick of using 2 remotes to stream movies over home network. The solution was to buy a "Smart TV" and have it all in one. The network streaming function home share will not let me enter my user name or password to access folders on my NAS. I can see the folders, but can't access. Kogans lame response was new firmware. What a joke. No joy. 2 months after bringing the fault to their attention, no response. I paid for third party app to access my network. It only crashes the system an need to reboot. Ea...Read more
ch time the tv is powered off, all of my play store apps need to be reinstalled. I'll be lodging a claim with consumer protection. Kogan don't respond to emails. I'll fight in court if I have to. STAY AWAY FROM KOGAN!!! THEIR PRODUCTS AND SERVICE ARE INFERIOR. THEY ARE GOING TO WISH THEY ACCEPTED MY OFFER TO TAKE THE TV BACK AND REFUND ME. cheap Does not have advertised and marketed features2 comments
