We purchased the BX25 based on the performance of our Kubota MX5000 tractor. The MX5000 had been a good machine if you excuse the sump plug falling out and causing engine failure shortly after purchase. I put that down to poor after sales service.
I did some shopping around be fore committing to a new machine, the previous machine, a Cox Stockman, was a huge disappointment. I had assumed the BX25 to be as good if not better than the GR2100. lity. it should be noted these machines are manufactured in the USA and it shows. The tail lights break very easily, the loader is notoriously hard to remove and put on, the cutting deck gauge wheels bend and fall off regularly. None of these issues have been addressed by the dealer network. Both the original dealers are out of business. Needless to say I cannot recommend buying a Kubota in Australia until the after sales support issues are resolved. Even the Japanese machines need support which you will not get on my 10+ year experience.Purchased in June 2021.
