Energy efficient, compact and well lit
I am happy with our LG purchase of the fridge. It has enough room and was quickly up to target temperature which it displays at the top of the fridge. I love the bright LED light on both sides which helps me see items at the back of the shelf.
The 4.5 energy rating will save me $ over time and let me feel good now that I do a bit more for the environment while still enjoying the luxury of a fridge.
Noise-wise, I can hear the fridge when it is on, but it is not very loud.

prised how easily the cubes come out into the tray underneath. The improvement suggestion I have is that there should be a nicer egg holder (lucky I kept my old one from a Fisher and Paykel fridge) and more importantly a bottle stacker so one can stock some bottles laying down as well. This comment is added now a month after purchase: I find the fridge louder than our previous one. I can actually hear it sitting in the next room to the kitchen. A minus for noise.Similar opinion? Definitely a buy for those who need a good size freezer
I have been a fan of upside down refrigerators for more than 20 years and this LG is the best I've owned. I love the freezer section of this model. It is very versatile with lots of space and I use the ice-maker all the time. But I guess there has to be a trade-off for more freezer space and that is there is less space in the refrigerator section. I had been used to a bit more space with my old Fisher and Paykel and it is a bit harder in the LG to fit in pre-made salads, extra bottles etc for entertaining. However you can't have everything in a 450L, so it depends what your priorities are. If freezer space is a priority, then this is the best of the 450Ls and a good value buy in terms of quality.

Excellent fridge-performance and size
Purchased this fridge after doing much research online to find the best fridge available for the space we have in our kitchen. Love the bottom mount freezer which includes a nifty ice maker that works really well. Teenage boys gave that the thumbs up. Interior storage is great with smart configurations for shelves, including one that folds back which is really good for taller items. Despite having a larger fridge prior to this we think we actually have more space in this one. Great even chilling of all items, and the display shows ...Read more

Lovely design & most energy efficient *****
Versatile internal design, simple external design. Shelves easily remove for cleaning. Large crisper drawer keeps veggies extra fresh. Reliable temp. Very quiet. Will speak to a smartphone app if it needs repairs. Most energy efficient ***** so it's easy on the environment and easy on your power bill. Freezer is a good size with a nifty ice cube tray/dispenser. Very happy with this appliance.

Loving it....
295L/155L with freezer at the bottom.
Perfect temperature maintenance with inbuilt digital thermometers which are easily viewed & adjusted in the fridge compartment.
Veges stay crisper.
Very well lit.
x1 adjustable shelf for those really tall items.
4.5 star energy rating. 10yr warranty on the compressor with 2yrs on the rest.
Very quiet as it doesn't turn on & off all the time & this is how it saves you on energy...
Icecube maker directly can be emptied into a it's own storage container.
Freezer drawers are solid....so nothing comes out like with the wire drawers.

Fine until you have a problem. Needed to get the ACCC involved
This fridge had a major mechanical malfunction 5 months after we bought it and we lost a freezer full of goods. It took between 5-6 weeks to get a replacement and that replacement was only initiated once I went to the ACCC. LG were the most painful company to deal with. The frustration, stress, days off work, time etc can never been compensated. To this day I am still waiting for our claim of food loss to to be resolved... 8 weeks later. Again I've had to get the ACCC involved. I've been told 3 different dates that payment was initiated proving that these guys are nothing but liars. I will never buy LG again as long as I live.
