You had one job teabag!
I'm sick of getting a mouthful of tea leaves everytime. How hard is it to make a tea bag that does not break? Literally every other brand has got this right but not Lipton.
Raised a complaint and after 2 weeks they gave me a measly voucher.
Will never touch Lipton again
Weak,Tasteless & Bags Break!
Been drinking Liptons for over 25yrs and this box will be my last. It's weak, watery and tasteless, even when using the Intense Flavour and 2 bags per cup! Very disappointing and frustrating, the bags also break every time. Hope the change was worth it, you've lost me and quite a few other customers from what I can see. Off to find another brand, goodbye.
Rank and disgusting !!!
Been drinking lipton black tea for as long as I can remember. Purchase new box yesterday and what a shock! I threw out 3 cups of tea, cleaned my kettle before I realised it's the actual tea. I seriously can't drink it. Can put my finger on flavour as it doesn't taste like anything as such but it's not the great black tea I'm use to.... now to find a new tea.... lipton you suck!!!!

My wife and I have been drinking your black tea for a minimum of 40 plus years. Over the past years the taste has gone to —— we are terribly disappointed. I have contacted Lipton at least 5 times to have say they will send out some free coupons. Still waiting it’s been at least 4 months with call’s again which say some crap about the coupon company they use is at fault for not receiving the coupons. Which has nothing to do with the no, to terribleness taste of the tea bags now. I read the company was purchased and I’m pretty sure that is the real answer to why it’s taste has changed. Extremely dissatisfied customer. Please figure out a way to go back to the excellent taste it used to be.

Lipton English breakfast tea, what a joke!!!
I tried the lipton English breakfast tea today and what a total disappointment, weak tasteless poor quality, lipton has moved to the bottom of the other brands with this one, and they say on the box rich & robust flavours what a joke they should be ashamed of themselves for false representation of their tea just to push a product. No more lipton for me sorry to say, I've been drinking lipton for 45 years, its time for a change.

I once only purchased Liptons up until a few years ago . Every cup the teabags were breaking . I changed to Tetley’s never had an issue . Fly buys had a points offer so I bought a box and even though on all the review sites it speaks of broken bags nothing was done to fix it, so I am now throwing tea bags out even though I am throwing money away

Mouth full of tea leaves...Horrible but thats what keeps happening when I make tea with Liptons.
Only noticed it since they made the tea bag tag a lot smaller..

Weak Lipton Green tea
I've always only drank Lipton Green tea. Now it taste like pure water. If I didn't know better, I'd think I'm just drinking water. Weak.

Hi, I have been buying and drinking Lipton black tea for years and for about a week with a new box, it taste weird. It’s like a sour taste or a soap taste or something. I can’t figure out what it taste like but it’s bad. I can’t stand it. I’ve tried different things but nothing is changing the taste for the better. Is there a recall or have there been other complaints. Something is wrong with it.

Unfortunately Lipton was our favourite, but since the change it’s weak and terrible to taste, the smaller paper holder is to small

Not drinking Liptons any more
Not sure what they have done or why but as many others have said the bags now fall apart and the tea is nearly flavourless. You have lost a long time loyal customer, hope the change was worth it.
Show detailstwo bad boxes
I have drank lipton tea made from bags for the last fifty years and I drink at least six cups every day and about six weeks ago I opend a box and used one from near the frount of the box and it was tasted like sweepings of the floor so I through out that cup and made another from a bag neer the back of the box it was the same so I throwed out the box and got another box out of the cupboard it was good just like I have drank for years then when I finished that box and opended the next box I had brought it was as bad as the box I thew out so I got some tetley tea but it was reasonable but not as good as lopton is usaly.

Lipton tea bags quality once very good but now very poor, they fall apart no matter how carefully one handles them. No more for me. Will be trying other brands.
Questions & Answers
I as I have always done have purchased your Intense black teabags for years. But have purchased a box that tastes like earl Gray from a Coles store. I now have 100 bags that doesn't have your usual intense taste
