How do you set tome please? Has numbers on it but won’t let you set time
touch Clock, touch Cancel, display will go blank
use number pads to enter time (12 hr clock),
touch Clock again to confirm.
To check clock time while cooking touch Clock.

To be honest I wouldn't know how to set the clock as I kid leave the microwave blank - perhaps the manual might me able to assist or you could call up aldi and if they can't help you or perhaps somehow put you in touch with someone who can
Fair dinkum Brian. " I don't know" is not much help. I already knew that. To set the clock- push cancel ( to clear everything )push Clock.Push cancel again. Set 12 HOUR time.Push Clock. I hope this helps, Brian.
Our Lumina Microwave beeped constantly today and when we checked it, there was an error message there. The container (microwave one) had melted and the food in it was raw and cold. Please advise what the error message means. We only saw it briefly and think it said err 02 - but it disappeared when we opened the door, so we didn't get a good look at it. I just tried heating some water in a really strong microwave jug. It did get hot, but so did the jug, and it doesn't usually get hot. Thanks
The microwave is a poor effort
The newer version aldi lumina is bit better
But to directly answer your question it sounds like most likely the thermostat is damaged - you have the option of of taking the microwave to get an electronics repairs and servicing technician to have a look at it
Aldi Lumina 34Litre 1000Watts microwave, had it for 2 months Will not heat food at all. Put it on for 10 minutes with food inside and still did not heat the food at all. Anyone else had this problem???
Same happened to mine (after a loud bang) phoned up the warranty number on the back, complained the item had totally failed, got a full refund in about 1 week. Aldi store was absolutely no help. I thought I saw somewhere the model is discontinued.
No ours is still going alright though the old fan forced microwave was dangerous piece of junk did stop heating up whatever was put into it
