A well worth investment
I am very impressed with my Luvele yoghurt maker. I bought the set of four ceramic pots in preference to the one large pot.
The quality of the product is excellent and easy to store away.
Being a novice at yoghurt making, I followed the easy directions and every batch of yoghurt has been a success,
It pays to buy the recipe books as they are full of great recipes ideas and information in general about yoghurt making. I didnt know about coconut yoghurt. I prefer it to milk yoghurt. Good for people who have a lactose intolerance.

Loving it! So easy to use.
I'm making raw yoghurt. I use a spoon on the inside edge to drain the whey then I add cacao powder, vanilla essence, cinnamon, macadamias, blueberries, cacao nibs, stevia drops. It's quite the low carb dessert. The textures and flavours! Loving the Luvele yoghurt maker. So easy to use. Thank you! Richard

It's a great product
I was very pleasantly surprised with the Yoghurt I made. I have used another Yoghurt maker before and was never quite happy, hence my investigating further and came across Luvele. I have only made the one batch so far….the basic recipe, just using milk heated and the yoghurt added. I think for the next batch, I might try adding the full cream milk powder in two of the pots, as one of the recipes suggest and see what the creamier yoghurt is like..…ie., if I can find organic full cream milk powder. . But I am a convert! The yoghurt I made over a ...Read more
27hr duration, is, to my surprise, lovely. The consistency is good and flavour really good. Though I think I’ll try 30 hours next time. I used Barambah organic yoghurt as the starter and I think it’s made equally as good yoghurt as theirs…but a little thinner. I’d also like to try the Chia Blueberry yoghurt recipe in your booklet, that sounds fab!1 comment

Delighted with our new yoghurt maker
I have been using it every week (a double batch) and my family love the creamy results - even my fussy 6 y o. (We add a little honey and vanilla, with some stewed fruit.) The ceramic containers are practical but also attractive. The process is much simpler than I expected and we no longer buy commercial yoghurt - previously a staple.

Solid - creamy goodness made simple.
We recently acquired the Luvele pure yoghurt maker.
It has been in almost continuous use for the last month without a hiccup. We are loving creamy rich GAPS yoghurt and cream.
We are thoroughly impressed with the quality of your products. Their robust and functional design makes home-made simply delicious.

Excellent product
I'd like to add to the chorus of 5 star reviews. This unit is well-made and very easy to use. I got perfect results the first time I used it, and it's continued to perform.
You might be cautious about the price tag. So was I. But this thing works so well, I think that, very quickly, it'll pay for itself many times over in savings from buying yogurt.

Much better than I expected. Much better.
When I bought this machine I was not expecting a perfect result straight away, I thought getting the quantity of starter, type of milk, etc might take a bit of practice, but have now made a few SCD batches and all have been absolutely fantastic...perfect consistency, wonderful flavour. As good as any of the best specialist commercial yoghurts I've ever tasted. Have not used milk powder or any other special additives, just good quality milk and culture. Have been using it for breakfasts, curries, sauces, dips, and also I feed my dog yoghurt ever...Read more
y day, so I go through about 2 litres a week. I figure the machine will pay for itself in about 2 months. I am also very impressed with quality of the machine, seems very well made, nothing flimsy, the ceramic pots are very attractive and seal well. Easy to operate. Manual is good. Easy to clean. I couldn't find any cultures to buy in retail stores, finished up buying online. There are a few links to online sellers on Luvele website. A couple I tried delivered by mail in 3 days.1 comment

Overpriced, maybe? but....
Being a pensioner everything seems to cost more than you think it should?
I am currently cooking my 3rd 24-hour batch. History wise I used a VonShef machine which produced OK results but had a 15 max timer and no temp control.
I wanted to make SCD yoghurt, so decided to buy your machine. I was not sure the timer was very accurate as when set to 24h twice it was done in about 22h or less, but I had the unit powered on nonstop. When I did switch it off the system must have rebooted. Timer now worksperfectly OK.
Love the pots, great qualit...Read more
y but for the money think the unit lacks that same high-quality feel. The unit gives me little confidence of quality, but then me being me something should feel solid as everything was decades ago. Sort of heavy. Old fashioned me. Think your instruction leaflet could give a lot more recipes and use info. How to sterilize etc. The blog is for me confusing as to why not group the blog for the different machines? Using the same "recipe" (milk and culture) as with my VonShef the result is with your machine is better, but then I never did a 24h previously nor did I strain it as now. Wish the unit had a strainer basket option. many do for less money! Why are the extra pots smaller? Do you offer a set of the same as with the new unit?Similar opinion? Indispensable
My twelve-year-old son follows the Specific Carbohydrate Diet (SCD) because he was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis in March this year. We have been using the Luvele yoghurt maker since early April, making a new batch every other day. It even accompanied us on a trip to the USA as it is light and compact. The yoghurt comes out creamy and delicious and is my son's main medicine. We have made it from cow's, goat's and sheep's milk. The latter is the king of them all. The ceramic pots are a great contributing factor to the quality of the yoghurt....Read more
Any queries we have had about the product (how to clean out the lids better, for example) have been answered promptly by customer support who are just lovely. Thank you very much, Luvele, for being there for those who simply cannot compromise on the quality of their yoghurt! We honestly don't know how we would manage without you. We have now also purchased the Luvele dehydrator :)Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Highly recommend Luvele Yoghurt maker
Easy to use and produced rich, creamy yoghurt from the very first time I used it. My husband who doesn't like yoghurt much tasted it, liked it, and has decided he will have it on his cereal every morning! I was very impressed with the quick response by email to any queries I had in regard to both the machine itself and then where to get yoghurt starter, etc. Will be recommending to my friends.

Best Yoghurt Maker - Gorgeous Quality
Dear Joe,
Thank you! It’s absolutely beautiful! I bought it as a gift for my hubby and he loves it! It’s a completely different product to the EasyYo I bought him a couple of years ago (and was used twice!) LOL... Jule’s couldn’t wait to have a go with it on the weekend and the resulting yoghurt is heavenly. The ceramic jars are so cute and we will definitely be ordering more so that we can have a fresh batch on the go all the time. The packaging was really beautiful too! It arrived super quick and in excellent condition!!
Thanks so much!
Kind regards
Lydia

Quality unit and makes great yoghurt!
The jars are solid and good quality and the unit is easy to use. We bought this to make GAPS friendly yoghurt and it tastes great! My tip would be to buy some extra jars so you can make the next batch while you have your first four in the fridge.

Incredible Vegan/Soy Yoghurt!
It makes great yoghurt. And so easy to use. Depending on your bacteria species and substrate you are able to adjust timing and temperature. We make yoghurt fresh from soaked, blended, and strained soybeans and get a really thick result. We found the shop bought soy milk to make more creamy/custard style yoghurt.

The best appliance I own after my refrigerator!
This little machine is just the best and Luvele have been a great company to deal with. So far I have made a couple of batches of Greek yoghurt and two of cultured sour cream and they were all amazing. The machine is so easy to use – just set & forget until it beeps at you that it's finished. The yoghurt was so great that my 6 year old Grandson had it for dessert two nights in a row and I have to take some to dinner for his birthday to go on the Indian food he has ordered for the evening’s festivities! The very funky ceramic jars are stylish en...Read more
ough to go on the table – way nicer than nasty plastic containers that end up in landfill and the snug fitting jar lids with the date indicators are just brilliant. I have bought the smaller 300ml size pot as well, as I am looking forward to a long and happy dairy relationship with this machine - bring on the milk & cream!1 comment

Easy goats yogurt
I have made one batch of goats milk yogurt (SCD compliant) and had a successful result. It is the first time I have ever made my own yogurt and I am very happy with the ease of the process and having the confidence that the Luvele incubator would stay a the correct temperature.

I am really pleased with this product. It is super easy to use and tastes great. I did a lot of research on yoghurt makers and 24 hr fermentation was important as well as no plastic containers. I would highly recommend.

I bought this yoghurt maker to make SCD compliant yoghurt. It's easy to use and makes fantastic tasting yoghurt. my daughter loved it as well, so I bought her a machine for her birthday. Then I had to buy an extra pot for myself so I could make another batch before I ran out

Questions & Answers
DJTasked
Hi
I would like to buy a yoghurt maker but I can't decide on the jars or the one 2L jar.
Which one is more popular and why?
How long does the yoghurt last for in the fridge.
Does the yoghurt hold its properties in regards to the scd diet if frozen?

Thanks for your message,
This question comes up from time to time, however the answer is more about what is suitable to your lifestyle.
Families for example will purchase the Pure PLUS as it comes with 1 big 2L glass container which they can reload the appliance with a subsequent batch and spare jar immediately after making their first batch.
For those who consume less the 4 ceramic jars are a great option. However both models are identical in regards to result outputs. They have the same power and features. Other than that it can also come down to aesthetics :)

How much yogurt starter to use? Not the powered kind, but the store bought yogurt and using it as the starter,

Luvele SupportLuvele
Hi there, thanks for your question. When using store bought yogurt as a starter, the amount you use is flexible. 2 table spoons should do the job for 2L of milk. Cheers.

Hi,
Can you explain why there are different temperatures in which you can set the yoghurt maker?
4 answers
Hi Nic, Luvele I feel developed this maker to cater for as many users as possible. Whilst they recommend making the yoghurt that is fermented for 24 hours to get a gut-friendly and very yummy end product. The 3 temperature options give the owner the chance to ferment more quickly at a higher temperature, but apparently, 38c is the sweet spot. My nature is to try and speed up the process but have not tried shorter or a higher temp as I am sure the end result will not be as good. I have used Organic whole milk and added some double cream, which for me works well.
Hope that helps

Thanks for your question,
For the most part a longer ferment means more probiotic rich yogurt, higher the temp can result in a more tart tasting yopgurt (Also depends on what starter you use)
We released an article here:
https://www.luvele.com.au/blogs/recipe-blog/yogurt-fermentation-time-temperature
There are many different varieties of starters, and strains of bacteria. We encourage everyone to experiment a little. However first best to start with the basic recipe provided in the Instruction manual. Once you have mastered the basic functions then you stretch your wings a little and try different things.
Hope that helps
Regards Tim
