Very Heavy Duty.
I've owned one of these drills for 40 years. I am a handy/maintenance man and this drill has received a severe flogging at times. It remains as reliable as the day I purchased it. Very powerful motor for it's size. Two speed variable reversing with drill or hammer function it is the only electric drill you will ever need to buy. This is a thoroughly recommended item.

An amazing drill - quality all the way
Makita's HP2010N variable speed reversing impact drill simply has no equal. I have had mine for at least thirty years (maybe 35, I simply can't remember when I bought it). It has handled everything I've asked of it and more, without a murmur of protest. I was quite surprised recently to find that Makita is still making this no-nonsense drill, and although $450.00 might seem a lot to pay for it today, it is actually much less in real terms - I paid $360.00 way back when.
My only beef is that I now find it a little heavy, but then again I am in my 70's, and I fully expect this drill will outlast me.

Makitas toughest
This is one of the best tool makita ever made .
I have this drill for the past 15 years and have drilled the hardest woods through to the toughest metals and have used it too build about ten sheds, this drill has been with me thick and thin,.
please makita dont stop making these tough drills, I know there is more modern and powerfull drills, even in the makita range, but none as well made or as long lasting as these, these drills are made in japan so there top quality, most newer drills now are days are made in china, which I dont think are...Read more
as well made and not as durable, even most tradies will agree these drills are built to last and have been around longer than I have been alive. There isnt really anything that I dont like about this drill, maybe they are little heavy and exspensive, I was only 18 when I bought this drill and it was over $500 and back then that was a big purchase, but im happy I have a drill that probadly have with me most of my life. Well made and durable, powerfull for the toughest job. Little heavy and exspensive.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
