Good for infrequent expressing
I was given the new green pump to roadtest.I am exclusively breastfeeding twins and pump to give top ups while we're out and there is nowhere comfortable to feed or for hubby to give a feed. On recieving the package, the unit looks cool, it's fresh and funky. My husband liked the bottles as they fit a mans hand and they are not overly "baby girly" if he is feeding while out.
The bottle is a good shape, wide and squat, it would take a big bump to knock it over. I like the anticolic feature in the bottom of the bottle that keeps the air from ent...

Fine for infrequent expressing
I have the newer-model green version which I've used for 4 months now. For a manual pump it works fine, however I would not recommend it for anyone intending to express on a basis any more frequent than once a week maximum.
Owing to the squat nature of the bottle, it is VERY difficult to grip and pump with one hand. Whilst possible, it strains and fatigues the hand and wrist terribly. Two hands were needed to pump, which makes expressing whilst feeding almost impossible.
The 360 degree swivel head sounded good in theory but in practice it...made almost no difference to comfort or performance but added an extra component to clean. I found that the rubber grips on the funnel adhered painfully to my areola. The pump handle also has a small milk-trap that makes cleaning the handle very difficult. It is dishwasher safe, however it contains a metal component that makes it undesirable to wash this way. Rinsing after use invariably results in water getting into the bellows, which is inconvenient and at times reduces the pumps effectiveness whilst wet.
Gosh i am glad that I bought this pump! It is so easy to take apart and clean! I have had some other brands of breast pumps, and they had lots of tiny fiddly bits, This pump is so straight forward and easy to use!
It pumps really great and is so affective! If mine broke I would be devistated and would go and buy a new one straight away! Cant live without it!
It is super easy to use, super easy to clean, can be used in two different ways to pump directly into a bottle or into the storage device to go straight into the freezer or fridge :D
Great pump, easy to use!
I bought this pump to relieve my engorged breasts after my daughter started sleeping through the night. It's a fantastic pump that is so easy to use. In 10 minutes I can pump out 60ml with no leaks, no pain, no hassle.
Vey affordable, easy to use, easy to clean, efficient at pumping milk, great fit, comfortable 'funnel' for breast.
It's a little to see how much milk you've pumped whilst you are pumping as the bottles are blue
