Shock!!!! All scammers!!!! most widowers!!! please ladys not in to Match.com this site!!!
I was amused to get so many similar emails from "widowers" who had lost their dearly beloved wife in accidents or though cancer. Profiles claiming to be from men living in Sydney who seemed to have no idea about the geography of Sydney. Emails with stories of loneliness and need asking for my email address.
I found out how to cancel my membership (not easy but doable) and left the site. Do not give them any of your money. It is a very expensive time waster!

Full Of Scammers
Unfortunately I joined this dating site and paid good money. Within the first 4 days I received several emails from attractive looking men, 2 from Sydney and 2 from USA. Ladies if these low lives don't want to communicate from the site or ask for your direct phone number or email address they are scamming!!!
Report it immediately and block them. I would have appreciated some feed back that the scum have been found and dealt with. I guess what they do is just put another false identity up so be aware!!!!!
Don't bother using this site.

Members seem to be all scamming for money and other things
Joined this terrible site tge only email i received were from men pretending to live in NZ and immediately wanting my email address and phone number. They would not answer direct questions. I was lured into one of these at the beginning but with done research found that everything was a liar, they eventually asked for money because of a large contract he had won, and his money was caught up in a bank transfer. But i must have had 15 men contact that were fake profiles. Not one contact was true. Don’t waste your money . i would report the adds. These online dating sites are all a con ladies . Don’t be fooled best to stay single, sain and with your money in the bank.

Examine them carefully and you'll see that there's no opportunity to add your own review to those sites. This site is dangerous
I was amused to get so many similar emails from "widowers" who had lost their dearly beloved wife in accidents or though cancer. Profiles claiming to be from men living in Sydney who seemed to have no idea about the geography of Sydney. Emails with stories of loneliness and need asking for my email address and then the number of SPAM emails I received doubled and tripled and quadrupled overnight. In all I met not one single person in 4 months and received about 1000 emails. I found out how to cancel my membership (not easy but doable) and left the site. Do not give them any of your money. AVOID THIS SITE AT ALL COSTS-TOTAL SCAM SITE
*********BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE!!!! I came here to warn people about this site, it is full of scammers not genuine lonely people looking for some contact with someone they might like, A great load of single ladies reside at Abbortsford so many in fact I would not want to live there as it is divorce central! Another thing is they let asian woman pose as Australian woman-attractive girls in remote Oz localities like Bathurst Island and Tennant creek and others in the NT-BEWARE! there is an asian scammer based in Malaysia or simular and they want y...Read more
our hard earned do ray me they are behind the account and pretty lady profile-do not pay any money to these scammers or this site MATCH.COMN they are all thieves and in cahoots, I complained under 2 identities and they removed me both times as not being in the interests of their (scammers) members when I bought up reporting members that appeared fake so they condone this behavior and remove those that bust them. Their so called girls are only after money as this site is and is not concerned with your plight in life or as a lonely single, I did a cashback on my card and advise all that are not satisfied to do the same as quickly as possible! I would advise all to write a strong protest against these and other sites like Iamnaughty etc, they are thick on the ground and need a strong protest to consumer affairs and the pollies, theft is theft and we would be arrested and given Jail time for less than this thievery, why are they allowed to operate in our great country!Similar opinion? The WORST online dating site of all time!
The Match.com dating site is fraudulent and full of scammers. It seems to be impossible to cancel a subscription through their online site. I cannot understand how they are legally able to continue.
They constantly supply contact from fake OS scammers, implying that they are from Australia- yes, Abbotsford predominantly.
I am SO annoyed, and suspect that MY details will be abused by the operators of this appalling site.
Give Match a wide berth.

At least I didnt pay
I am on RSVP, not great but at least seems real. I joined match.com but havent susbcribed, partly due to the fee schedule and partly due to all these terrible reviews. And partly because there seem to be heaps of attractive (to me anyway) ladies who I havent noticed on RSVP or Zoost, so I am guessing all these people complaining about false profiles are probably spot on. I wont be subscribing.

Dont sign up
Cannot log in first of all. Been to similar websites where after you have paid the profiles are offline . So it appears to be riddled with cancerous fake.
Money scammers. All these sites make it hard for one to cancel subscriptions. You have to phone an overseas call center which services many of these sites. Dont do it . Get out there and meet people in the real world.

How is this appalling online dating service allowed to continue?
This site is awash with fake profiles. The matches they send you are primarily from Abbotsford - the first suburb alphabetically. I just happen to be over 400kms away. After lodging a complaint with their customer service department, I was informed that because I had "used" the site I could not have a refund. Without exaggeration, I receive at least 4 winks or messages from fake profiles ever day. Other sites like Zoosk appear to have almost 100% real profiles, so obviously it can be done. As for matches, the location could also easily be fixed, but obviously they can't be bothered. Don't waste your money.

What a load of crap
I was deceived overcharged and did receive any of the benefits from this product so initially subscribed. I was told I had a month free subscription and was stalked and harrassed with emails until I subscribed. I had $169 stollen out of my I tunes account when I agreed to this 1 month free subscription I have had an embarrassing number of unsuitable matches considering everyone I get matched with is from a different state except my own. This site is appalling and shouldn't belegal. It makes a fool out of people when there at there lowest, most vonrable and feeling lonely. Something needs to be done

Abbotsford..so many single men
I signed up with Match.com. 99% of the profiles they have sent me in 3 months is of someone who doesn't exist. Abbotsford has a TOTAL population of 5,000 people, how come the profiles for the last month have all come from this tiny place. It must be awash with single men who swim, HUNT, and keep exotic fish. Good Grief, how do you expect us to be so gullible? We pay good money, in good faith to this site, to be swamped with non-existant profiles, or totally unsuitable interstate matches. I have cancelled my renewal and won't be using this site again. With today's technology you would think that they could track down fakes before they even reach the screen.

More observations
It seems there is an extremely high number of single women in Abbotsford NSW. All my daily matches are all from this small suburb of Sydney and I live at least 175kms from there. At least the overseas matches have dried up. Thanks match.com. sarcasm implied.

Never ever!!!
I was disappointed in Match.com, and it might be just me, because I didn't really spent much time there. But what happened next was the worst experience I ever had with customer service. First of all, when you sign up, they never show you that your subscription will be renewed automatically, so you will get an unexpected charge. After deleting the account, I asked for the full refund, as I didn't use the app and I no longer wish to continue using it, I was told because I'm calling the next day after I was charged, it doesn't matter that I didn'...Read more
t use it, or I didn't sigh anywhere that I wish for renewal, I will still not able to get the full refund. After couple calls and couple conversations I couldn't get anywhere with it. So at least I was supposed to get a partial refund. But guess what, a month later I was still waiting for the refund, at least partial. After contacting them again, they told me I refused the partial refund... Which doesn't make any sense... I will continue fighting with them, I will also call my bank to make sure they support me on this matter. But.. What I would tell you, just make sure to read comments and reviews about the web site and app online, you will be disappointed and surprised that this type of scheme still exists!!!Similar opinion? What is this site about?
I have been winked at, favoured, liked and messaged. Not one person I contacted is who they appear to be. They all have the hard luck story of living with neighbours, uncles, grandparents, friends, and need help to get home...ie...money. So many profiles read almost word for word with others. I must say I need to move to Abbotsford in nsw....my god they have an award winning gene pool there....I have never seen so many beauties who all claim to live there...but unfortunately are overseas at the moment...needing money for a passport or plane ticket

Match.com full of fake profiles
Match.com must be writing its own profiles to lure subscribers in. There appear to be many many beautiful women in Agnes Victoria. Its a small country town that hardly has a population but its full of these women who might send winks, etc. but never reply. Some of the profiles are repetitive with different names and pictures. As to real people, l have only met one so far, maybe 2. I won't be renewing my subscription. Its a pity l can't claim a refund easily.

Scammers and fake profiles galore
This website looks initially looks promising. If you are male and looking to meet reasonably visually and socially appealing ladies then this looks to be a reasonable website. However from the responses I received there were a number who claimed to live locally in Sydney while in fact stating they were overseas but coming to Australia under some immigration program or other claim. Seriously this is a dud site. Better off going somewhere you like and trying to strike up a conversation with someone there. They will appreciate it and you might me...Read more
et the girl of your dreams. June 1st 2022 Update: Frauds, Fakes and Fantasy Finding a woman that you really enjoy being with as much as I enjoy my own company has been a challenge for me. Now as an older guy with a glimmer of hope of finding 'the one' I was quite surprised by the responses I received on Match.com.au. Every day I was receiving 'likes' from attractive women claiming to be within 20 kms of my profile location only to find each and every one that responded to my reply did not live in Sydney but lived in Ghana, the USA. China or other far off location. Many of these scoundrels are easily found out by copying their picture into Google Image search to find out the photos they have used belong to movie and music stars from non English speaking countries. Many of the contacts that 'Like' you mysteriously disappear within an hour of posting. To get the hang of online chatting and using the various apps available (Whats App, Hangouts, Skype) I had few conversations with some respondents out of hope and curiosity. Each conversation quickly turned to expressions of committed love towards me and eventually requests for cash for their sick sister, airfares for visits to me and other ploys to extract cash. I did a little thing where I would insist they provide me with a photo of themselves showing hi to me on a piece of paper. This was quick and easy to do using my iphone. That silenced most scammers. Some were even stupid or arrogant enough to think sending an electronically generated message would satisfy my doubts about their sincerity. Others photo shopped signs with a fake hand attached into their photos. All in all while the Match.com site will provide some meet ups with people that really wouldn't be likely to choose your company over a person of their own age I have found the types I have encountered on this website to dampen my respect for women and for the online dating process generally. Being mindful of this I have cancelled my paid subscription to avoid the false hope and disappointments generated by this site as I know there are lots of decent women out there. Getting off my screen and doing some more of the things in the real world that I enjoy is the best way of getting to know some of them.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

The home of scammers
This sight is full of scammers and false profile. I would suggest that this website is just used to pry people of their money. As soon as I requested no scammers on my profile I was inundated by scammers with single fake photos. Some of these photos even contradicted the profile. The site itself must employ people to converse for short periods of time. These people appear to share little if no information and disappear when prompted. This seems to be a consistent theme. What a waste of money.

on that website i had a russian women claiming to be from melbourne Australia yet she was on the other side of the world many have fake profiles misleading information about them self's .and match.com don't screen these people.i was called a scammer myself by a lady i didn't even know i kept getting abused whatever that was about i have know idea what's going on with that website i had match take my profile down i don't want nothing to do with them the people on there are very strange to say the least.i'm glad i wasn't a paid member avoid match.com like the plague.the other annoying them when you set up a profile i ended up with popups of other dating agencies all the time i never got peace it's very hard contacting match after many tries i had success not very organised.i hope this helps you and keeps you safe from scammers.
It is real but definitely be aware. Probably the most fake profiles I have encountered on a 'paid' dating site. I agree with Mark.. be careful. I have taken my profile off match and tried to delete my pics and profile answers descriptions etc... and I still get the occasional message from a member. Very annoying. Also their Customer Service is a joke... just have your eyes open - very wide.

sorry after reading back what I wrote I note lots of spelling mistakes. My message was a little unclear.
ould immediately want me to go onto a what app phone connection, and email me off the match.com site. I did this the first time, only because the profile seemed earnest. He told me he was about to land a big contract for his business worth a few million, then told me he was in some meeting in respects of this contract and told me where the meeting was, which he claimed in Australia, upon investigation the place did not exist in Australia, he sent me a few photos and they were not the same man, very strange, he then stated he needed to try and get a lab to bridge this new contract, until his guaranteed first payment for the contract. His emails were copy and pasted to me in his first contacts, as when I stopped all communication after I confronted in email everything he was telling me did not stack up, he became abusive. So I cut all contact. Only a month later I get another introduction. on match .com Exactky the same email and message word for word asking for a contact with me.After paying for a membership, I received immediate replies from men with fake profiles, they w...
