Maybelline was my first choice of cosmetics and i have stuck with it since then. It compares so well cost wise, and the quality is fantastic. They stay on for ages compared to some that just disappear straight away. the mascara sometimes clumps but i found this with even the best. i just make sure i run the brush over the rim before i apply. high quality mascara.
Great price, very high quality of ingredients, and staying power.

I have only tried Maybelline mascara's. I have used the Great Lash and Colossal Volume Express. I've found that they both have a chemical smell and the Great Lash goes on quite clumpy even after wiping the excess mascara off the brush. I love the Colossal Volume mascara though. It goes on well and doesn't clump for me at all and makes my lashes look thick.

I only use the eye products, the foundations are OK, but I won't go out of my way to purchase them. I find the mascara's just as good as a $70 one. I like some of the eye shadow colours too. Another plus is that is is readily available at big department stores and most chemists and that it's all at a low price, especially when there is a sale on. However there mascaras/eyeliners etc I wouldn't recommend to someone who has sensitive eyes
I love there mascaras. I have tried some of the other eye products and they weren't bad.

The pure make up foundation was very good while the product was available, I don't know why they discontinued the line. The replacement is heavier than I would like, but still a good make up. It is also more expensive, which made me change brands.
Good make up for a low price. I use their mascarra and "Pure" foundation line. Both lasted all day and were easy and comfortable to wear. They were inexpensive and good quality products. Attractive packaging too.
Lines change often, making it a little confusing about what to buy if your product has been discontinued and then replaced with a similar, but not identical product.

I have been using the Maybelline lipsticks for quite a while now. I have very dry lips and have found that they don't make my lips/lipstick flake and peel like other brands. I am happy with the packaging and colour of the lipsticks. This and my foundation are the only products that I find I use till the end of them (they don't stay in the cupboard forever, they actually get used.
The moisturising lipsticks are fantastic and reasonably priced compared to other brands.
I don't have any negatives about the lipsticks but this is the only product I use in the range.

I will buy this lipstick again, I find other brands dry my lips out unlike this one. I love the colour i chose, it shimmers like a gloss but has a colour stain also. It cost me $16.95 from priceline. It was mid range price for the brands they sold. Its also a decent size I've purchased lipsticks before that were very small and as I wear lipstick almost everyday I like the size maybelline offers in there lip stick range.
I have recently purchased maybelline colour essential lip stick in pink sand. Stays put for quite some time, conditions my lips, and not too pricey.
Did not have my colour I was originally after.

i am very dis-appointed in full n soft mascara now, does anyone still test the products off the production line anymore? maybe this is to push us into buying dearer products now.
i have used the full n soft mascara for about 2 years and had been really pleased with the results - really thick and lovely effect. i have also used other make-up products over the last 10 years and been very happy with the results.
the last 2 full n soft mascara i bought didn't do anything. it was hardly visible at all when i had it on - even after 4 coats - whats happened? have they changed the formula or cut down on the ingredients ? it doesnt make them full n soft anymore.

I love this product and have been using it for about 10 years. The formulation is long lasting and is suitable for sensitive eyes

It can be a bit pricey, compared to other brands. Its good value when on special at kmart

Overall, Maybelline is a good brand that makes reliable makeup products that are market at reasonable prices. This brand is also good if you are just starting to get into makeup. There are also testers at Priceline so we can look at the colours and shades before we make a final decision to purchase the product.
-Products are readily available in supermarkets, pharmacies, Priceline etc
-Has really products that are reasonably priced and work well
-Has a very extensive range of makeup from eye makeup to lip products to blushes etc, the list just goes on!
-The makeup products are also available in a wide variety of colous to suit different moods, skin tones etc.
-Products could be made to be more eco-friendly.

Overall I do like most of the Maybelline range.There is a good selection of colours to choose from and it is really affordable.
I love the fact that it can be purchased from just about anywhere, even from the supermarket
Not all the products do what they claim.For example the Stiletto Mascara which claims to really intensify your eyelashes I found not to be that great;personally I think it is over rated.

Sone of the products are great to use and I would choose the mascara range over some more expensive options. I find the foundation doesn't have the coverage I expected and wears easily. If your on a budget this is a great way to stock up on a range of lip sticks and eye shadows. Try and test the items before you buy then to see if they suit your skin types.
Cost - a great way to get all the cosmetics you need on a budget.
Not all the products do what you expect. Sometimes you realise that you get what you pay for.

The product is the best makeup product I have used. It's affordable, excellent quality and can be bought in chemists, stores and over the internet. I've used most of the other brands out there and though some are quite good, I've found lately Maybelline to be the best, offering several options in foundation (liquid, powder, mineral), mascara, eyeliner, eyeshadow lipstick and lipgloss. I can wear the makeup all day long whether to work or out for the day and not have to worry about smudging it.

Nothing, I love it!

I use maybelline lash stylist mascara and i love love love it! the comb doesnt get clogged, it really does make my eye lashes appear longer, thicker and makes them curl up. it is really hard to come off when i clean my make up off but i guess it just means it will stay on longer. Maybelline as a whole brand is ok. some of their foundations are good. you just have to find the rights product for your type of skin and what conditions you will be wearing it in. you cant expect a light wear foundation to last all day if your active constantly.

Fantastic I use their mousse foundation, water based foundation, mascara and their brown eyeliners. I would recommend them to anybody especially as a starter for somebody wanting to get the basics of make-up whilst not spending huge amounts of money as the quality is still there.
The price is reasonable.
The availability of the products is really good with most department stores myer david jones, as well as target big w kmart priceline and chemists all stocking the products.
Somethings don't work as well as what they are advertised to do. Like creme eyeshaddows look terrible on in reality but fantastic in the picture ad.

Have been using the Maybelline mineral makeup concealer wand, its fabulous for dark circles under the eyes and covering spots without caking. I'm pretty reluctant to try mineral foundation as I've heard alot of bad things in regards to what these companies are actually putting in their makeup seems like a fad to me. Either way I'd reccommend the concealer I've used Australis and Loreal conceler wands and they werent half as good as Maybelline.
Affordable and available from most supermarkets and discount chemists/beauty stores. Their makeup lasts quite awhile too.

Maybelline produce high quality, reasonably priced make up. I would highly recommend them. They are available at all good stores, which is great.
I love Maybelline make up - it is well-priced, unlike some other brands that are just over-priced brand names! I especially love the "Great Lash" Mascara - it is the only mascara that never clumps and it lasts for ages. I love the blackest black colour! I also like their eyeshadows - they come in great colours and are not as expensive as some eyeshadows out there. I do not wear foundation, but if I did, I would make sure that it's Maybelline.

I love "MAYBELLINE LOOSE POWDER". It is light and doesn't cake up like other brands. I also like "MAYBELLINE EXPERT WEAR BLUSH". It really does stay on all day like it says, and blends to a natural look. Also "MAYBELLINE PURE MAKEUP", it's oil free for those who have oily skin problems. It keep the shine factor down for a lot longer than the oil based foundations. I use the eyebrow pencil as a lip liner aswell, as it stays on a lot longer than regular lip liners and has quite a natural colour. The colour range is fantastic.
