Extraordinary
As a lucky owner of many lovely cars over the years, there's something about the C250 that's totally got under my skin. Purchased 3 months ago, I bought a fully optioned C250 with AMG Line, Command Pack and Vision Pack.
The Good
It looks extraordinary, from every angle it's designed exquisitely.
Interior is also exquisite. AMG seats are supremely comfortable even after 3-4 hours driving. Driving position is perfect, there's a feeling of contouring when you get in and start driving.
Head-up display, lane keeping assist are excellent on long jo...Read more

Lots of faults
It’s a good car when it works but based on my experience I strongly advise you to stay away.
It’s very expensive to fix and a lot has gone wrong for me. I had the previous model before this and it was much more reliable. I would guess that because this is the first of the new line Mercedes couldn’t achieve the same reliability, and that will become your problem as they won’t fix things properly.
I have had some things fixed under warranty but the fixes are far from perfect. After having a few tries Mercedes will start telling you the proble...Read more
ms are ‘within expected tolerances’, so in other words they expect their cars to be loud and not shift gears properly. Problems I’ve had: - The sunroof (which I don’t open much) broke just after the warranty expired, cost to fix is $3000 - the front passenger head rest (which I don’t move much) headrest broke shortly after the sunroof, cost to replace is $1400 and they can’t repair itPurchased in August 2021.

A cut-corners car!
This car (C200 Bluetec) was purchased brand new by my mother from Mercedes-Benz Sydney in late 2015, has been used everyday since & has been a major disappointment.
The 1.6L Turbo-Diesel is one of the slowest engines i have ever experienced & gets absolutely smoked by my 2007 Honda Accord Euro which was her previous car. Turbo lag is horrendous and the noise inside the cabin means that the stereo system has to be turned right up to actually hear the thing. The stop-start system makes things 10 times worse taking ages to wake back up after cutt...Read more
ing out the engine. The vehicle's run-flat tires make the ride a very rough one, every small bump makes a huge noise and shakes you like you've run over a rock. They are also damn expensive costing 300 hard earned dollars per tire every time they need to be repaired & in the nearly 4 years that we've owned the car have had to be replaced three times which is an absolute joke. The infotainment system is a slow-laggy mess and looks incredibly cheap. So much so that my mother prefers the 2007 Navigation system in the Honda that i drive. The touch pad & swivel wheel combination is so clumsy to use compared to the touchscreen in my car & even the remote touch joystick in my Dad's 2016 Lexus RX450h! The random issues in the vehicle make you question Merc's slogan of 'The Best or Nothing'. Back door's randomly opening whilst driving, transmission shifter taking three or four goes to actually change from park to drive and so much more!Purchased in October 2021 at Mercedes-Benz Dealers for A$68,500.00.

Affordable Luxury
We have had tye car six months and driven both around Sydney and down the highway to Melbourne and back and have only been impressed. Just the two of us now but a couple of extras can fit in the back comfotably. The boot is reasonable in capacity but my only worry is run flat tyes and no spare, even a space saver would give some comfort.
The finish and build is excellent and very modern cabin but not to hard to use, even for a mid 50 guy.
Acceleration and handling is great especially out a 2.0 litre turbo petrol which gave us excellent fuel consumtion on the highway trip.
Overall a great value for money prestige car wearing a historic badge but nit too much more than a Japanese car these days.
Purchased in February 2021 at Tynan Motors for A$79,000.00.

not worth it
I bought c200 sedan in 2015 - a supposedly reliable car. My endless negative experinces suggest otherwise. For me, buying a Mercedes has been one of the most disheartening experiences, from the time of my first service. To make matter worse, problems dont seem to get resolved in the first instance, despite the promise of unwavering quality. The service centre seems unable, and to a certain extent, complacent in resolving the issues. Initially, it was just the car that fell completely short of my expectations, now the service centres ranks first...Read more
. Kudos to Mercedes in providing a total expereience! The first simple and easily solvable issue was the tyre being fitted inside out. However, the technician refused to accept this. The error was confirmed to me by another private, reliable car service dealer. The second issue was a constant rattling noise. After the first unsuccessful service, this was only fixed after a second review. The third issue was loss of power while changing gear from the second to third position. I diligently reported this during my second service. The capable technicians did not think it pertinent to resolve it before the third. The list seems endless. But I want to write these down knowing fully welll that Mercedes will not pay heed to any of this. Soon the loss of power recurred. A reputed, reliable company like Mercedes explained it as 'driver behaviour issue'. So, it is still unresolved. As if this wasnt enough, the intelligent light system malfunctioned which has not yet been fixed. Owning a Merc has been a completely harrowing experience. In spite of the Merc being a decent driving expereince, after the recent service, I have just given up plans of buying another Merc because of the lousy and incompetent customer service experience.Purchased in August 2021 at Mercedes-Benz Dealers for A$77,000.00.

Best motor vehicle ever
I’m not really a car person or enthusiast but after having this Mercedes Benz C300 for 10 months I so into this car. Everything about it is just class, performance and safety.
I’ve done almost 30,000 km in this time and the car hasn’t missed a beat with anything. First service was at 20,000 km rather than 25,000 km- my choice. Cost was fair and what I’d expect from a premium European brand. $380. Next one is about $600.
Surprisingly I have had really good mileage from the OEM run flats on the car- definitely at least another 10,000 km to go...Read more

Lovely to drive
I have had it for three years now and love my car. the ride is really smooth. Appreciate the heated seats in winter, the auto parking and the fact that it takes control if I veer off-course or am about to hit something. I really have not done this without still being in control but the car was faster than me. I think it looks gorgeous, like a slinky cat and comes in great colours.

Great Car but DONT TRUST MERCEDES BENZ Warranty and Servicing
I write this to warn all parties out there toget everything in writing. Failed to honor our servicing despite massive problems in 3 years. Now, a $3k servicing bill and Mercedes are "non responsive". We will take it further but please please ask questions so you are not like us.

Run flat tyres
I purchased the car as a demo in 2016 and I have replaced the tyres twice. The life of run flat tyres is less than 20,000 klms in my case and I believe more publicity needs to be given to this major deficit in an otherwise beautiful car. I believe many others drivers on run flat tyres are also experiencing the same poor tyre performance. I do not believe run flat tyres are fit for purpose on Australian roads. $2000/year on tyres alone is a big hit. Am I right or wrong?

Two weeks with a petrol C250
We holidayed with a petrol C250 sedan for two weeks and the verdict, comfortable and fun.
We travelled about 2500 kms with about 60% country, %40 urban.
The good.
-Tardis Like. Compact on the outside, fairly spacious on the inside.
-Radar cruise works well, after getting used to it.
- Character, sporty and fun. Feels fast, even when it's not really.

-Couldn't find air con seats, maybe an option? They are a must option for Perth, Brisbane and anywhere north. - Little hesitant when rolling then hitting the go pedal. - 3 Year warranty. When you pay a premium it's only fair to expect the manufacturer to back it. Our main car at home is a F10 550i which is a magic carpet ride, effortless and very, very smooth. This is different and this is why it's so important to drive cars (maybe hire?) before buying. Little gem overall.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Good solid car
Obviously being a merc the purchase price was large and the petrol and service cost are too. That aside it is a well built responsive car with some great features. Above all it is safe and reliable. I previously had a c180 coupe which was three years old. It was also a very attractive car but once my grand child came along the two doors were not practical.

Love the car
Bought a 2015 C250 Bluetec with full options, luxury and economic to run. The only issue is the engine quite noisy but you can't hear much when all the windows are up. Recommend the car to any of my friends. AMG options, vision and comfort options are highly recommend .

Excellent piece of engineering, but here is why I won't be buying one
I drive my friend's C200 for about 3-4 months a year when he is overseas, so it is not mine. This is a great piece, has good performance for a 1800cc engine, with plenty of luxury and comfort.
Suspension is really good and you can adjust this, as well as engine performance. It sticks to road on corners very well.
Quality of the sound system is world class.
I love the gear change knob on the steering wheel, indeed I get so used to it I miss it when I drive my own car.
I like that the mirrors fold automatically when you lock the car and ex...Read more

So So
I bought a brand new Mercedes Benz C200 in 2014. Driving experience is just perfect. It feels like you are on the clouds. Extremely smooth and quiet. However not much of a legroom if you are a tall person. The features are great along with reverse park assist. Running costs are extremely expensive. Tyre replacement is about $400. My main issue is with the keys. The batteries needed to be changed every 6 months which is quite odd. The car would be locked after I have parked. But once I approach the car a bit later and use my remote to open the c...Read more
ar, it stays locked. This has caused a bit of embarrassment especially when I have my hands full of shopping bags. I had to physically remove the cover on the door handle and jiggle a bit to open the door. For a brand new expensive car, this should not be a problem. There are no heated seats. There is no head up display on the windscreen. BMW has this feature and the only reason I did not go ahead with purchasing a BMW was because the driving performance was not as good as Mercedes.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Great car
My husband bought our Mercedes benz c250 in February 4,2017 from a car retailer in campbelltown. And I would say that this car is really amazing, as there is a 360 degrees camera which you would not find in other cars. This car is a bit pricey but it's really worth .The fuel is thrifty but the parts is expensive as we had an accident while travelling from Brisbane to Sydney and hit a kangaroo and guess the headlight was broken and it cost a 5300k to replace and fix the bumper. But thanks to insurance. And also it takes a while to fix it but they ordered the parts from overseas. But other than that this car is really great inside and outside.

C250..a car with compromises.
My review is based on a c250 loan car with 1,500km on it. I had the car for 6 weeks.
Good points. The handling and chassis is utterly superb. The car is unbelievably compliant and corners flat like nothing else when thrown into corners at all speeds. The torque vectoring is absolute genius. (I've previously owned a wrx and saab with haldex awd and this MB handles beautifully). Performance from the engine is relatively strong especially considering its engine specs. Technology and safety is great. Car looks fantastic and elegant. Interior is...Read more
spacious. Bad points. Cheap interior build. Hard brittle piano black plastic trim panels. Throttle is overly sensitive and it is difficult to drive the car smoothly. Stop start is very rough. Ride is harsh for a luxury car which might be partially due to the 19 inch wheels. They look gorgeous though. Engine is a little on the noisy side and gearbox is rough and lazy when hurried which is unexpected from a dual clutch. Nav and mutimedia screen is small and doesn't enable you to view multiple items at once. E.g. must have GPS or radio displayed only. Seats too firm to be comfortable for more than 2hrs driving. Artico leather might be fine on an A class but not a c250. Car is a bit disappointing. You definitely are reminded you bought a cheaper Mercedes. C / "compromised" class.Similar opinion? just love it
i bought the C250 coupe together with the AMG package. The AMG package makes this vehicle stand out from the regular C250s and improves handling and performance; particularly around tight curves and corners. it's just a perfect car that so easy to drive. it has the looks and all safety features you would ever need

Great Car
I have the C250 fitted with the AMG line, Vision, Comfort and COMAND packages. The AMG line package makes this vehicle stand out from the regular C250s and improves handling and performance; particularly around tight curves and corners. The seat comfort package provides extra support and options for driver and passenger comfort and there is plenty of legroom for front seat passengers. The vehicle is relatively quiet to drive. The Vision package was disappointing as the Head-Up Display has been dropped out of the package, although Mercedes B...Read more
enz still have it listed on their website as part of the package and the Dealer I purchased from did not point out to me that the HUD was unavailable. Massive deception on the part of Mercedes Benz to still have the HUD included on the website but not have it available; HUD apparently hasn't been available for several months so there is no excuse for not updating the web information. The vehicle is economical to run and rides well in "Comfort" mode. The "Sports" and "Sports +" modes provide a tighter ride. The COMAND system is a not particularly intuitive, especially the Navigation commands. The dial and touchpad are a big gimmicky given that the system is designed to be controlled by the buttons on the steering wheel as well and it is safer to have your hands on the wheel. I thought the panoramic glass sunroof could make the car hot if in the sun for any length of time but it seems very well insulated and the car aircon cools it quickly anyway. Lots of brilliant safety features, alarms and alerts Mercedes is famous for and I'm happy with my purchase. Still not happy about the HUD being left out of the Vision package and Mercedes Benz not letting people know via their website.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
