My wife purchased this vacuum despite me pushing for a popular bagless cyclone type of vacuum. I didn't believe in going back to a bagged vacuum until I read most industrial and commercial vacuums are bagged. I have to admit I was wrong. The suction from this thing is almost too high, in fact we did damage a rug by vacuuming on to high a setting. The HEPA filtration is very good and I honestly wouldn't recommend using any other brand or type.

An easy to use and intuitive vacuum. Settings vary from soft vacuum (for drapes and blinds) to more powerful (floors and rugs). Easy disposal including a (disposable) bag clean up and effective clean for a spotless home. I would recommend this vacuum for anyone with a medium or large size area/home

The vacuum has worked great. We got the turbo head which is amazing and makes vacuuming so much easier!
It's easy to maneuver and the cord is long enough to get around quite a bit.
Can use on carpet or tiles/wooden floors.
It's great to be able to do the whole house easily.

Very good suction and overall performance. Bag full indicator always shows red even with empty bag. Bag capacity limited and replacements expensive. Too easy to inadvertently activate the On/Off switch when carrying barrel around.Comes equipped with Turbo brush and all the necessary tools. Bag issues disappointing given the cost but overall happy.

Powerful and well designed. I liked it so much i bought one for my workplace. It has lots of options and varying vacuuming options as well accessories. The accessories have a built in 'cabinet' on the vacuum cleaner.
This is the best vacuum cleaner I've had so far. I went through a whole Dyson phase but these are much better...and they actually do the one thing the were designed to do really well.

I was very impressed with the vacuum cleaner, the very first time I tried it, it worked very well. The suction is great and my carpets are very clean. It glides easily and every little spec and hair is sucked in within minutes. I liked the filters that I come with and they are easy to change and replace. The vacuum bags are also of good quality and easy to change as well. This cleaner is highly recommended!

This is my 3rd Miele vacuum cleaner...would not use anything else! Comes with a variety of attachments. Easy to use. Bags are a little bit over priced. Used for carpet and vinyl floors, carpet, deck.... Adjustable suction, which is perfect for all sorts of floors. Has easy retractable cord. Easy to pull around.

Very strong suction power. Provides many suction power levels which is very handy especially when vacuuming delicate surfaces e.g. curtains. Very convenient to clean the dust bag inside. Easy to maneuver-the wheels glide smoothly. The accessories that come along with the vacuum is very convenient and is useful depending on the type of surface to clean.

Bought the Miele C3 from David jones last year for around $320. It has great suction power, I am very happy with this vacuum cleaner. It is very easy to maneuver around the house with long cord. It picks up most hairs and dust, i don't really need to mop my floor as often as before now.

Bought the Miele C3 from binglee last year for around $400.
I was a bit skeptical at first as It looks very simple compared to the fancy Dyson.
Took it home and I was impressed with the power of suction. When it's set on high it becomes really difficult to run it across the carpet from how powerful the suction is. And it's doesn't make much noise!

After Owing Dyson dc41 Animal I'm totally in shock at how bad that machine is.
I purchased a Miele Family all rounder c3 model from Myer. The machine is half the price of the Dyson with 10 times the cleaning power that collects everything into a throw away bag. (No more dealing with clouds of dust like a bagless)
It's light to use and very easy to clean stairs.

Very happy with this vac for a range of uses. Works well picking up dog and cat hair (and my daughters long hair as well!). Also very effective on our polished hardwood floors and carpets. Have found some generic bags at Bunnings that work well and makes replacements a bit cheaper. Would recommend!

This is an expensive vacuum cleaner, but well worth the price tag. It gets every last bit of dirt out of carpets and rugs and lifts the pile, so the carpet actually feels better to walk on. If you can afford it, you won't regret it. It is a little harder to manoeuvre than my previous vacuum, but that is because the suction is so strong. It even works to get all the crumbs out of high pile rugs. So impressed with this vacuum.

Excellent suction and amazing power. This little machine will clean all your floors and with the minimum of noise.
I wont buy any other brand now as Miele (German made) is the best of the best. You wont be disappointed with this machine. It has several different attachments which enhance the efficiency of the vacuum, an extra long power cord and the bumper along the side to prevent it marking walls.

After always being a devotee of the Dyson brand, when our last Dyson went to heaven I looked around and asked friends for advice. We found this vaccum. Oh my gosh amazing! So much more power than the Dyson. Amazing Hard floor head as well great for our floating floors and tiles. Carpet head is so good as well. Never have I been so in love with a Vaccum cleaner! Thanks Miele! I buy the original bags on ebay and much cheaper.

Very good performance and a dream to use. Makes vacuuming a pleasure.

Easy to maneuver. Suction good but not great. Would have preferred a head that i can switch from floor to carpet with a touch of the foot. While i can buy an interchangeable head as an extra to the vacuum i thought it was enough already without adding more to the cost. I think the vacuum is overpriced but then you are buying the brand name.

Easy to handle. Good variable suction controler on handle. Quiet and easy to maneuver.
Mainly timber floor, some carpet whole 4 bedroom house. Good quality Product. Bags are a bit expensive but received one year of bags with purchase which compensates for price. Can recommend the product compared with other high end vaccum cleaners and it comes out on top.
