Very Happy With Purchase
I purchased the Miele WKB130 a month ago to replace my rusted up, water guzzling Whirlpool top loader. This is my first front loader Ive owned so I didn't know what to expect. The machine itself is very quite, not loud or clunky with the exception of it vibrating and making a noise when it starts up the spin cycle but then goes quiet at full spin speed. Is that normal? (I think hubby didn't level it correctly when he unpacked it and installed it, said he could do it himself to save on the install fee).

out clean (even ones that had dried clay, dirt or tomato stains) don't look damaged (with the exception of a white top sneaking in with the dark load by accident which went grey). On the delicates setting (and the use of a wash bag) fragile clothes and lingerie come out clean and undamaged. I did purchase the Miele washing liquids to give them a go and they seemed to work much better than Dynamo liquid which partially kept getting stuck in the drawer dispenser and not going through the wash as well as leaving a bit of residue on clothes. Towels do come out a little bit rougher than usual but my towels are pretty cheap and not high quality so it doesn't worry me that much anyway cause there were a bit rough to begin with. My bed sheets do wash up lovely and soft without any fluff or debris that used to still be stuck on then when washed in my old whirlpool. I have not washed blankets in it yet which would be the final test as I'm wondering if one will fit in the drum. I was advised to keep the door open at all times when not in use and so far have not has a problem with any smells or seeing any mould build up, its only been a month though so its probably too soon to notice. All in all I'm very happy with my Miele.

How much did this machine cost in 2017

Hi there. on 17 March 2017 we paid $1849 for the equivalent model. We had to replace it in September 2018 because of floods and the new model WKG130 cost us $1999 which included some detergent. Not sure if this helps.

Hi Tanya, the washing machine display, has switched off automatically to save energy. The display will return, when you press the (On/Off) push button. This feature can be turned ‘off’, as per instructions in the ‘Settings’ section of the operating manual. (pg. 73-75.) Kind regards, Joel.
