No one can beat german engineering

published

I have been using it for almost two years and wash it beautifully. It is very quite. Can barely hear it while on the spin cycle.
I manly use short cycle and i cant brlieve how clean the clothes come out.
I bought it to match their dryer which is god send. Love German products because they last.

Detergent for Twin Dos Constantly Out of Stock!!

published

Machine itself is okay - no problems and the clothes come out clean even with the quick washes. The danger with paying $300 more for the twin dos system is that the detergent is not readily available on the Miele Shop. I have waited for two weeks and still no detergent...I would have stuck to the normal machine if I knew about the ongoing stock issues.

Terrible!!!!!!!

published

Warning - this machine is a waste of money. Clothes are becoming worn and damaged at a fast rate. Agree with previous comments which state clothes and towels are like cardboard. Have had no issues with F&P and Samsung washing machines before.
Also think there is a Miele rep writing comments and answers on people's reviews.... Beware of what you are reading!
Perhaps Miele used to mean quality, now it just means overpriced junk.

Quality remains long after the price is forgotten

We purchased the WHK130 from Miele and the results have been unbelievably positive. The engineering of this appliance is exceptionally good, quiet in operation, economical in water and power usage. Above all the clothes come out clean and fresh. We run a small bed and breakfast and the Miele suits our purposes to perfection. Yes it cost a bit more but after 2 months I have the confidence well will be happy with our investment.

Outstanding machine!! Miele quality

published

I've been a Miele customer for over 10 years now and these new machines are outstanding!! One of the things that surprised me was how quiet the machine is especially during the spin cycle.
Using Twin DOS works very well, the only thing I found was the initial setup dosing was a little too high and doing small loads caused it to foam up inside the drum which will trigger the excessive detergent warning, once I adjusted this I've not had a problem.
The power wash system really increases the efficiency of normal detergents like Omo powder if you choose to use it over Ultra Phase 1/2. I purchased this machine with the matching heat pump dryer as a pair.

We are now having to put a scoop of powder detergent as well as the machine dispensing 110mls of omo ultimate liquid to get the clothes clean on a 1hour wash - pathetic indeed. Give me back my old W918 machine over this piece of new garbage!!!

Hey there, I am having an issue with the maintenance cycle of twindos for compartment 1. In accordance to the instructions, I have filled a container with water, but it keeps saying "insufficient cleaning agent". I tried filling it partially, filling it to the top, restarted the process at least 10 times - still the same message. Meanwhile it went smoothly with compartment 2 from the very first try. Do you have any suggestions?
