Terrible life span - expensive to replace parts that don't last more than 4 years!
We bought a Miele KM5974 Induction 8 years ago assuming a 'top' brand would last the time.
4 years in we had our first'control board' damage ($700 repairs!) and now have the same issue 4 years later ($1000!) - same error FE35! Pathetic for someone who doesn't really use it that often!! WASTE OF MONEY

Terrible quality appliance and Extremely aggressive technician
I installed two miele intigrated fridge-and-freezers. One fridge-and-freezer has a lot of problems. At the beginning, the fridge temperature can never be properly set up and always got 1 degree, and the back of the fridge is always freezing. So we have to replace the whole electronics. After that, when I set up the temperature to 5 degree, the fridge back is still freezing. Another problem is scratches has been found on the side of both the upper fridge and lower freezer. rand new because I have never used it, but it already has so many problems. Today, the technician came and he was incredible impatient and aggressive. He believed the fridge-and-freezer is working properly even he saw the ice at the back of the fridge. He said the freezing is due to I open the fridge and air comes in. When I told him I have never used this fridge-and-freezer and certainly its door rarely opened, it is ridiculous he said we need to provide proof of this. So should I put a camera to record this? Even more irritating is he did not want to fix the scratches and even said he should not come today. I used to think miele is a good brand and has quality product and good customer service, but now I know I was totally wrong! Never buy miele products, they are not worth the price!

Can’t believe my Miele washing machine is already out of order after only 3y!
I bought Miele W1913 washing machine and just after 2 years ( when the warranty is finished) I started to have issues. First it was technical fault 41 for some wash but we were able to re-start another problem and now it is fault 62or 63 and 92 and almost all program get stopped sometimes 2min after it started. We had a technician coming a few months back and he said it was a problem with the electronics (which you would think it would be covered with longer warranty...) and it would cost us $600. Where has Miele’s quality control gone?
Motor needs replacing in Miele washing machine still under warranty. Refused request to replace machine and have to wait over 2 weeks for parts.
Not built to last. No longer a Miele customer.

Thought I was buying a quality product. Just out of warranty and the seal on the door has split so leaks on the floor. Really disappointed. Staff on phone unhelpful.

Beware of hostile and aggressive service technician followed by inaction from Head Office
Service call booked, the technicians (2) arrived as expected an odour of stale cigarettes followed them. I proceeded to explain that bed sheets were not dry after the cycle had finished. I was told by the technician that it is a known problem with sheets and all the Miele dryers regardless of model do not dry sheets. He told me that he knew what the problem was "the sheets coil up into a ball and the outside dries but the inside does not" I agreed that that was the issue I was experiencing. I asked him to a least put the diagnostic on the machine to determine that there is no issue before he conclusively tells me that there is no problem as I could not believe what he was telling i.e. a malfunction with Miele dryers?! He was aggressive to begin with but his aggression escalated as he talked over me, yelling with very animated hand movements. He told me that even his family members (a cousin from Wollongong) had had enough of the same issue with not been able to dry her bed sheets that she demanded her money back from Miele. He advised me that even he did not dry his sheets in the dryer for this exact reason. He finally instructed his colleague to do the diagnostic, I was told there was no issue with the machine and that the problem was simply that Miele dryers do not dry sheets. I was shocked to hear this. He continued to yell telling me 'there is nothing hr could do and that he could not begin to tell me how many times he has had to stand in people's laundries say the same thing to so many other customers". He told me that he could call his boss and get me a new machine delivered, I told him I did not want another new machine. I became upset and he said he was not here to watch me be upset and that he was leaving! Service call over. I called Miele, I spoke to 3 people, was put on hold for great lengths of time and was eventually told they would call me back at some stage. All in all a horrible, disturbing and unprofessional experience. Dryer model number is TCJ690WP it was installed in September 2022.2 comments

Unreliable products, what happened Miele?
Very disappointing. Use to be one of the top brands for appliances. Used all their products for our townhouse development of three units (dishwashers, rangehoods, ovens, dishwashers, stove etc... One of the unit's dishwasher broke down right before 2 years. My own rangehood just broke down, 2 months outside warranty unfortunately. Called up Miele and wasn't very nice about it despite using them all the time. Waiting for a technician now and possibly $179 out of pocket just for them to attend.
Miele used to be able to last 10 years, not breaking down at the 2 year mark.
Update. Miele managed to resolve the issue for me. Thank you.

Terrible product and terrible customer service!
Regret I did not read reviews here before the purchase of my dishwasher. The dishwasher I received was faulty upon receipt and it has stopped working totally 9 days after. All these days, no one from Miele has ever cared and I was even told the first problem I had was normal.

Horrible customer sevice harvey norman
Walked in to harvey norman brownsplains to buy a dishwasher older man that worked there gave a big sales pitch and told me the dishwasher was on special $1399 down to $999 the cardboard display was on top of dishwasher showing the special i was ready to buy and then he said aw sorry special ended last week afer he had just told me they were on special very dissapointed walked away with nothing

Low quality Vacuum cleaner product and even worse customer service
Low quality vacuum cleaner that stopped working a little over warranty, and both retailer and manufacturer washed their hands under the excuse of expired warranty. No help from customer service as they want customer to pay for equipment inspection as much the amount as one can purchase a new product. Do not be fooled by brand name. Never buy a Miele product.

MieleW1 TwinDos XL and Wifi connects Washing machine
This machine washes perfectly. The Twin Dos is a fantastic feature. i'm surprised that Miele fail to offer a service to re use the detergent dispenser, especially being manufactured in Germany, a country well ahead of most in ensuring that plastics don't end up in landfill. It would be great if Miele were able to organise a service to return and reuse. Then I would be happy to give a 5 star rating!

Soo disappointed in ALL my Miele purchases
Was told it took two weeks to road freight part for my broken dryer from Melb to GC. Two weeks later still waiting. Lots of excuses. Get messages to say they will be here but never arrive. Speak to different person every time. Just told part was lost in transit. I explained yesterday they could track freight. So many excuses! Keep cancelling my appointments to be here. Now told another two days by different person. Meanwhile oven which is 12 months old is not working. Tech said he would have a look when doing dryer.

To get service is impossible. Difficult to navigate and figure out. Not a fan
I bought the most expensive small stacked Miele washer/dryer. The service sales person from Miele told me it was safe to wash cashmere. That turned out to be absolutely untrue. My main complaint is using the electronics on the machines. They are very difficult to navigate. Mine was installed with the twin dos set at 5. It should have been 48. I asked a service tech about it and he said that was right. I ended up washing my clothes at my sisters for a year before I found out it was set wrong. read the manual which is not straight forward. I plan on replacing these machines with the brand my sister uses. It washes better but mainly its a breeze to use without confusion and I dont have to read a manual. if you are good at reading manuals this may be a nice machine. For me with a busy family, work life, I need simple. Maybe if my machine had been set up correctly to begin with, I would not feel this way, however I honestly feel Miele could care less. Buyer beware!
I have a miele washing machine and dishwasher and both have been in need of repair. The dishwasher has been repaired twice and the washing machine is a nightmare. It does not wash properly and clothes are partly dry after being washed. I've had it repaired but i still have partly dry clothes! I now have to spend another $179 to have someone try to fix this again. This machine has never washed properly, both appliances have been a problem. I bought miele believing it would be trouble free and go the distance. I would not buy miele again and certainly would not sing their praises. Expensive and a huge disappointment.

One of the best Customer Service experiences I've had
Not actually one to leave a review but have a C3 powerline vacuum and needed to change filters. The website is not really consumer friendly when shopping for filters for these units and was super confused. Spoke to one of their customer service team members, Kieran (Spare parts 1300 464 353) and it was all sorted within a few minutes, both confusion and also with parts sent out asap foc as they should have been included in the dust bag box (not usually sold separately unless you upgrade to a Hepa Filter). Parts I needed were the Air Clean filter.

Do not buy Miele products. Customer service is non existent.
Bought new dishwasher from Miele shop 3 months ago. It stopped working and we called Miele to get it fixed. Three weeks later and 3 visits from Miele serviceman, I was told that it can not be repaired and he will recommend for the machine to be replaced, it is under warrantee. This is where the real problem starts!

Poor response rate to service query
Place on online request for a service call to fix a gas cook top two days ago but no response. How do I know when I will get a response three days, 2 weeks or a month. Totally unacceptable.
This is a poor method of answering service enquiries. It would be more customer friendly if you could speak to a real person and they could book a technician to come out.

Service fee $170 to write a report
My poor parent are pensioners who bought their dishwasher years ago For $3000 & have had multiple issues over the years. They gave paid to have the machine fixed oonly because they spent so much money on it that it like gambling. So dad presses a button & suddenly now the dishwasher wont work error F42. to have someone come out will cost them $170 (30min)& $30-40 for every 15min after that.
Just so someone can write a report. They just dont gave the money to waste.
2years should they spent $800on it.
They dont even uses it everday.
They are better off getting a $800 machine with would do the same job, better customer service. Cost less to maintain.
So dont waste you money, your not getting Quilty with them.

Service exemplary
Miele Navatronic 3985 showed fault F53 - machine a few years old and out of warranty. Nick came 3 times and finally a new motor was installed. The machine had done 2500 hours but Miele quality pledge is 10,000 and I was not charged for the new motor. We have all Miele machines and there are few companies with such fantastic after sales service like this. I used to love Miele in the UK but have bought 4 brand new machines and I am so disappointed.
We have been a dedicated Miele customer for years. My entire home in the UK is equipped with Miele appliances, and have never had to question the quality once.
We have recently moved to Perth, Western Australia and we took ownership of 2 washing machines (WWV980WPS $4,499 and WCR870WPS $3,299) and 2 tumble dryers (TWV680WP $4,499 and TCR870WP $3,999). The washing machines are fantastic but we have a problem with both of the tumble dryer machines. Miele sent out a senior technician who advised me that the noisy heat exchanger is normal and there is nothing that can be done. I simply cannot accept that Miele would be happy for their "top of the range" machines to sound like a 20 year old refridgerator.

In Feb 2022 I purchased the WKH 132 WPS 9kg Twin Dos washing machine. Initially the clothes came out smelling worse than when they went in but it transpires that the technically advanced automatic machine has to be manually told to use the built in detergents. By manually selecting the 'Dos' button every wash the smell has resolved however the clothes are not particularly clean. Despite routinely separating colours, darks and whites every time my whites are grey and dull. The service technician has been twice and runs diagnostics checks, tweaking the settings, but the problem remains and my frustration grows. I would like to know if Miele could consider an alternative response or advise me of my options.
