Perfect Fit
The Mini Micro is the perfect fit for our 3 year old. She has mastered it's running and turning within a couple of weeks. I can see she'll get a lot of use out of it in years to come. We're very happy with our decision. The design is superb! Great colour options too.

Mini Micro
I purchased the mini micro to replace a poor cheap scooter for my 2 year old. Don't waste your money on any others as these seriously are worth every cent. They are stable, the ride is smooth, and they are easy to use. After buying 1 I don't think I will ever buy another brand. Very happy with our purchase
Stable! Easy to assemble, smooth ride, look great

Red goes faster
The whole buying etc was trouble free. The overall impression of the MiniMicro Scooter it is well designed, well engineered and well made. Bought for a 16 month boy who accosted a 13 year old in the park to have a ride on his scooter. Father as the go between but was not allowed to help and a lovely time was had so much the 16month did not want to give the boy his scooter back. All ended well. When I was told I knew what I could buy for this child. As a doting Grandmother I got the lot. Scooter, seat, (incase of tiredness) water bottle holder ...Read more
and tote cord. For such a young lad he has no fear and we have a long flat and slight slope drive on which he took to like a duck to water. First with both feet on the board and letting his weight take him down the slope. We were not allowed to help but we did tell him to use one foot to push along. 3 doting adults stood at end of the drive for an hour and a half in the cold as this child enjoyed the whole experience. He soon caught on that as he leaned the scooter went that way. So a few wheel marks are showing in the garden. I have only one complaint to this company. At bed time it was a requirement to have the scooter in bed as well. We compromised and let him sleep with just the handle. He is I might add a very easy child to put to sleep....well that was before the scooter. Time has passed and the whole scooter is next to his bed now and not in it. The seat has been relegated to the store room. I hope that all that buy a Mini Micro Scooter get as much fun out of it as our son and grandchild. I might add that a scooter is another factor in aiding a child's greater motor and fine motorskills development; whilst they are having fun. Not to mention confidence and pure joy. Thank you all involved in this product and remember that red ones goes faster. Especially when it is a favourite colour. Well designed, engineered and produced. Variety of colours. A good learning tool for the young.

One happy little girl!
We searched the net for the perfect scooter to buy for our daughter who was turning 3. A friends son has one and she had recommended it to us. Finally we made the decision to go with the Mini Micro Scooter and we couldn't be happier. Purchasing online was so simple and it arrived within 34 hours of ordering. Our daughter has picked up the knack of scootering so quickly after spending an hour at the park. Now daddy wants one!!!!!!!!!
The stability.

Wise buy for active boy!!
My three year old boy is very active like most boys but lacks confidence and co- ordination on things like scooters, bikes etc when first attempting them and therefore gets discouraged from continuing to use them. I brought his big sister one and then at last minute purchased the mini for him. I'm so pleased I did because there would have been lots of fights over it. He loves it!!! And what's more he has been able to scoot around on it immediately. The confidence is growing after only day 3 and he is keeping up with his sister.I was also very im...Read more

Brilliant!
I just bought this scooter for my 3yr old after seeing a few kids at the park with them. The mother was a raving fan and I went home and ordered straight away! My daughter hasnt come inside for hours since we received it yesterday and we are planning more outings where I can walk and she can scoot. It has been so easy for her to get a handle of...the tilt action is brilliant and the wheels and suspension make for a smooth journey. I especially like the fact it doesnt fall over when she jumps off! I highly recommend Micro scooters from the quality PR and product.

3 year old loves it!
I cannot believe how quickly my three year old daughter learnt to ride this scooter. She is having a ball with it. I am so pleased that we chose this product above so many others. It arrived quickly, was easy to put together, and the bright pink is of course so popular with our girl. We will soon be purchasing an adult version so that Dad can keep up with our two scooter-mad youngsters!
nice bright colour, easy to put together, stable for young ones, light to carry, sturdy.

Quality!
Very good quality scooter. Classy and very, very smooth. The tilt to steer took a bit of getting used to by my 2 year old as she has been used to turning the handle. It's a bit easier to steer with a bit of speed up, which took her a little while to manage. This will be great for a long time to come!

Great quality scooter - we love it!
Our 3 year old daughter first used a mini micro whilst recently on holiday in Europe. She had never used a scooter before, but within a matter of minutes she was scooting like a pro. The lean-to-steer was easy to use and she could step off (as toddlers do!) without the scooter falling over. And above all, she was having loads of fun riding it and was outdoors and active. On our return from holiday, we immediately bought one for her and she hasn't put it down. In fact, where she would normally have stayed in her buggy for a walk to the shops, sh...Read more
e now happily rides her mini micro scooter the whole way. And on longer walks into the city (3km), if she runs out of puff on the return journey, it is lightweight to carry or it also balances quite easily across the handlebar of the Mountain Buggy. Our daughter loves it; we love it! Easy to use; stays upright when user steps off it; safe to use; keeps our daughter interested in active/healthy pursuits. Price - initial outlay for a scooter - may put some people off, but it's worth every cent. You get what you pay for and this product is top quality.Similar opinion? My 2 year old son loves this scooter and so does his cousin at 5
I bought this scooter for my son for his second birthday. He loved it from the moment of unwrapping. At first most of the fun was about simply riding on it with myself pulling it by the handle bars. I am 5'2'' and found it not a strain to do this. He would ride it like this to catch the bus, go around my university and pretty much anywhere we went. In fact I found it much more convenient than our buggy and he really enjoyed it because by two the last thing he wanted when out in the world was to be immobile in the buggy. But with the scooter, I ...Read more
could pull him along very easily because the scooter rolls well even on bumpy tarmac and it's not even that bad on grass. After a couple of months he began to push himself along with a foot and figured out the brake and now at almost three he's scooting pretty much everywhere by himself - round the supermarket, in the mall, the local tennis courts, through town, in the house... you get the picture. Once he got the confidence to scoot solo he quickly figured out the steering and pretty much just looks to where he wants to get and there he scoots. Compared to his cousins ones, cheaper quality two wheeled ones, it's a faster and smoother ride. Plus, it's more stable and discourages accidents. The brake is good, although my son still prefers to use his shoes to brake. It is effective but does not jolt the scooter to a stop. The handle bars are a good height, suiting my son at 2 and his older cousin can still ride it at 5. We have had a lot of fun from this scooter and I highly recommend it to anyone considering a scooter for their preschooler. I believe that because it felt stable and was a nice ride, and easy to control he has got more fun out of this than a cheaper variety two wheeled one. From my side, I love it because it's so light. When he wants to run rather than scoot it's so easy to carry. The only thing I would wish to be different about our mini micro is the colour has faded pretty fast. We have an orange one and live in NZ. It's always been kept inside when not in use and yet the sun has faded the handle bars considerably in just one year.Similar opinion? Don't bother with a cheap scooter
We've had our Micro for two years now, our son has just graduated to a two wheeler and we will keep the Mini for his younger brother. It still goes great, and looks great and all we've ever replaced is the brake. It has paid for itself, he loves it and it is so light and portable that I don't mind carrying it on the rare times he doesn't want to ride it. It has been all over the world thanks to the ability to break it down and stow in our luggage and our son is always so happy to see his trusty scooter at our destination. I have family who have purchased other types of scooters and those kids (nieces and nephews) always start trouble because they steal the micro and don't want to give it back!
Light, durable, my son loves it

Big benefits in a MICRO package
Our son loves his scoot, very quickly picked up the steering, propulsion and balance concepts ... soon outpacing older kids on bikes..... we never leave home without it as its so compact and we can just stop at a park on the way to somewhere and have a 5 or 10 minute scoot, enough to wear him out a bit. Only down side is I wish I'd thought of it first !!!!
size, price, engineering, ergonomics
brakes...... not very efficient or durable.....since been updated I think

Just awesome!!
We got a Mini Micro Scooter for our 22 month old just three days ago and he has already mastered the balance to go in a straight line and he's started to lean to dodge obstacles (the washing line!). I love how it narrows towards the rear single wheel so his 'pushing' foot doesn't get tangled with the wheel. It is also very light so he can easily lift it up and down steps from the deck to the path. I also love that the handles are covered with rubber and there are no sharp screws poking out from the wheels - means he can use it inside when wet and my walls stay intact!
Light but very sturdy at the same time.

Loads of fun when you're too little for a scooter
Everyone in our family loves the mini micro scooter because it is safe and easy for our little guy who is 36 months, to get around on when he out with his big brother and sister. For awhile there our little man was frustrated at not being able to use his brothers or sisters scooter because he hadn't developed his balance. All the 3 wheel scooters I considered were cheap and nasty. I am really pleased I came across mini micro scooters. Now all three of our children are safe and happy enjoying their scooters

We went back for seconds!
After throroughly researching scooters and discovering that 3-wheel scooters where better suited to toddlers, I was lead to discover the Mini Micro. My research also showed that it was better to select 3 wheel scooter, that had the two wheels loacted at the front rather than the back. This prevented the kids kicking the back wheel when in use.
Our choice of the Mini Micro did not disappoint. My two year old had soon mastered it by scooting around our dining table, and within days was scooting down to our local park. When he was with his fri...Read more
ends, we were able to compare the agility of our scooter over his friends other 3 wheel or 2 wheel scooters, and I believe that the Mini Micros unique 'lean' turning system provides for a more agile ride. At 5 years old his scooter is still going strong (we recently replaced the brake after many years of use, by simply ordering the part from Micro Scooters). His younger sister also received a Mini Micro for Christmas last year, and we plan to upgrade my 5 year olds at Christmas this year to the Maxi Micro. We have found that even though the Micro scooters are more expensive than other scooters on the market, they definitely provide value for money. Something that is used daily, and has lasted for 3 years is a testament to a quality product! excellent quality, agile, age appropriateSimilar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Why didn't we purchase this in the first place
I cannot do anything else than rave about the mini micro scooter. We originally had a different scooter with two back wheels and my daughter always hit her ankles on the wheel. A friend used her scooter with a wide back leg and didn't want our daughter to end up like that. We purchased the mini micro scooter and it is brilliant. It goes absolutely everywhere with us. Not it has the additional accessories, a bunny face to identify it and the little backpack on the front for all the snacks. Now will she want to upgrade soon and hand this to her little sister, I am doubting at the moment
Brilliant design

The smallest and lightest compact pram around!
We have had our micro scooter for 4 years. Although very faded and scratched it is still as smooth and as functional as when we bought it. We have used it as a pram on our Hawaii trip and as a second seat attachment when whizzing around the shops with 2 little ones. Although our new addition does not mind using his sisters pink scooter the toddler attachment has been an added bonus. Our only gripe has been that the break is a little flimsy when the children develop some speed going down hill as the back tail slides out causing the scooter to wo...Read more

Excellent value for money/quality item/great for co-ordination
Amazing, my son has had this now for 3 years and uses it every day, he was seen only today flying down the street steering it with the precision of a fighter pilot - Even thought he has a broken arm! (kinda explains how easy it is to use). This scooter has out lived all the bikes he has had, (we no longer try to tice him with a bike) and never had a problem with it. When we did replace the back wheels (due to natural usage) we ordered the wheels from Micro and we received them within 48 hours. He has also added the great drink bottle holder to it so he can take his drink with him when we are out walking/scootering with him and his brother (who also has a Micro)
Easy to use, great for co-ordination, excellent quality

Hello,
I would like to buy a scooter for my 4 year old girl. She is 104 cm tall. Which one would you recommend? She wants to be able to move it and carry around by herself. Thank you! Tanja

Hi Tanja,
Thank you for your enquiry.
Currently she is best suited the Mini Micro Deluxe scooter. It is a very lightweight scooter weighing just 1.9 kg so will be easy for her to maneuver and carry, it uses a lean to steer principle which will help develop her balance and co-ordination skills as well as having an adjustable handle bar so you can set it to the most comfortable height for her.
Mini Micro Deluxe - https://www.microscooters.com.au/products/mini-micro-deluxe-scooter-purple
Given that she is 104 cm tall however it may not be too long before she out grows this scooter - it is suited for kids up to 110cm tall.
So you potentially may want to look at the the next model up which is the Maxi Micro. This scooter is designed for aged 5 - 12 (however there are younger kids out there that ride this model) and for kids 110cm tall and above.
It uses the same lean to steer principle and is just a bigger more robust version of the Mini.
It is a slightly heavier scooter at 2.6 kg but may be light enough for her to carry if needed.

I hope that information was helpful but if you have any other questions please don't hesitate to contact us directly via our website here:
Hi, thank you very much for your answer. So, you think micro mini classic is not a good option because it doesn't have an adjustable handle bar? I am thinking to get her maxi ehen she grows out of this small one.
Micro S.Micro Scooters
Hi Tanja,
You're very welcome. It's not that the Mini Classic isn't a good option, you just don't have the benefit of being able to adjust the height of the handle bar.
We actually no longer carry the Mini Classic in Australia as we have superseded it with the Deluxe version but there may still be some retailers out there that still have some.
Ah okay, that sounds like a good idea.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
Jasmineasked
Would you recommend a mini micro deluxe or sporty edition for a small 3 yo? does the sport edition have an adjustable handlebar?
1 answer
Micro S.Micro Scooters
Hi Jasmine,
Thanks for your question.
For a small 3 year old out of the two options I would recommend the mini micro deluxe.
The adjustable handle bars give it a longer life cycle so that as he grows the height can be set to the perfect level.
The mini micro deluxe also has a silicon injected deck providing slightly more grip in comparison to the sporty.
The sporty also does not have the adjustable handle bars.
Hope that helps but any other question you may have please let me know at [email protected]

Hello. I am about to buy a scooter for my son. He is 2.5 and tall (97cm). Would you recommend the mini micro or the mini micro delux? He has never used a scooter before. Thank you
3 answers
We have the mini micro, delux wasn't available when I got mine. My son is 2.5 too now. I think the delux folds, but the Std clips apart easily anyway.
My son is short so the standard is fine for him even now at 5.
But I think for a tall child the adjustable stem would be great.
Micro S.Micro Scooters
Hi, thanks for your question.
Both the mini micro and the mini micro deluxe have a maximum handle bar height of 67cm and is recommended for children up to 110cm high.
The deluxe does have the ability to adjust the handle bar height as opposed the to mini micro so is great for growing children.
The deluxe also has a silicon injected deck which provides slighlty more grip and has an anodised metallic finish.
Both scooters use a lean to steer function which is a great way to develop balance and motor skills, and have high quality non marking polyurethane wheels.
They are both extremely light at 1.9kg so are perfect for the novice user to easily maneuver around.
With him being this height he may not need the adjustable handlebars, however the deluxe does give you the added features as mentioned above.
Hope that helps.

n the drive after a heavy work out at the park. My grandson puts his scooter away in the shed so it won't get stolen or dirty. It is destined for the younger brother and it will still be in good condition. No leaving it in the garden and the weather so it is in the she we are happy now that it is no longer in his bed or bedroom. I think children should be taught that, look after something it will last longer than leaving it in the drive for Dad or Mum to drive over. Have the sun scorch it or get it stolen. Still a great item.
