love that car
So happy with mine, its so smooth to drive with lots of power & really comfortable seats
Love the cargo cover in the back & seat height adjustability on the drivers side. Also love the side mirrors that fold in automatically when you turn off the ignition. I just got the 2014 model which I think is a much nicer looking car than the previous models.

Great on the flats. Turns well. Yes, seat gets v hard within the hr. Sluggish going up hills. Love height of seats & storage under both front seats. This is a hired car and wish this one had sat nav, only the dearer models do. Have decided to buy the Mazda 3 Maxx (Auto) because of the extra power on the hills, the comfortable seating, the Sat Nav etc - however, its not an SUV. Next time around if Mitsubishi ASX is better value for money and has all the bells and whistles, including the power - we will definitely be considering one : )

Disappointing
Purchased mine brand new in September 2014. The glove box door became loose after less than one month. I have waited 6 months to get it fixed.. last week the mechanic drilled bigger holes in the glove box to hold the door!! Very shoddy job for a new car.
Also i had to get the wheels realigned which cost $400... i have been driving to & from work only on smooth roads so i don't understand why the wheels were misaligned.
Also there is a rattling noise when i accelerate. Which the dealer has refused to look into.

No way, never again
We have had a random noise whilst driving it sounds like we're going over a cattle grate. No change in revs. Then fine again. Mech told us nothing shows up on machine codes. Then on the weekend coming back from a 2 hr drive it revved up to 3 and then suddenly the power (k's) just kept dropping. Sat on the side of road waiting for rac, guy turns up and cleared a pending code and couldn't see anything else as he didn't have a computer to plug in and because we had a young child in the back we couldn't get it towed! Just told us to drive it back a...Read more
t 80- 90ks then take it into shop the following day. Ended up that we were driving at about 40km as it wouldn't get past that and then only just made it into driveway after power wouldn't go back up it just decreased and decreased to about 20ks. Had it towed Mech say no faults. What on earth is going on. .Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

WE LOVE OUR ASX
looked at heaps of similar sized suvs and this was the most consistently highly rated, fuel efficient option. RAPT WITH OUR DECISION it handles well, fits 3 baby seats across the back and is just all around awesome.

ASX
Wonderful car love the size and height can step in and out of it. However, seats become very hard after sitting on them within the hour. Love the seats heated tho. Very nifty to drive.

iPhone 5 connection and contacts imports
I've just purchased a MY15 ASX GLX for work purposes,I cannot import my iPhone 5 contacts, I would like someone from Mitsubishi to explain why such a simple anomoly would not have been highlighted on this vehicle, this arrangement is simply ridiculous and unsafe. As a work vehicle I need this auto voice dial function to operate my business. I will be extremely annoyed and dissapointed if Mitsubishi do not offer up a solution to this problem asap.

Compact but with Grunt
Attracted by K25 price for MY15 AWD Turbo Diesel. Only 14K . Drove it and loved power v fuel use. Had 13 yrs Mitsu Magna and experienced Mitsu warranty promises. A compact robust vehicle with exceptional pull and functional interior. Handling good with the controls on and Bluetooth/reverse cam good. Will se how tyre wear turns out and havnt fully test AWD options. Fuel costs have halved on 60Km per day suburban use. Cant wait to put a load behind it. Usual diesel noisy and some blind spots front quarter and rear quarter view, however seems easy to maintain. Aircon is powerful, perhaps too much at times. Build quality good but not up to the likes of VW. So far Im convinced to stay with Mitsubishi.

Great car for the family
I love my Mitsubishi ASX it's great to drive and very comfortable seating. Great on petrol as well. Only one thing I think it needs another gear when you drive on the freeway .

i have a ASX XB 1015
does the reversing camera have a beeping sound when reversing
mines not working or dosnt have one
can some one help
Thanks dianne

My 2012 model only beeps if it's getting too close to something (unlike a truck). I presume yours is the same.
As per above, there is no beeping when engaging reverse gear. The Park Distance Control (PDC) only beeps as you get closer to an obstacle behind you, the more it beeps, the closer your are to hitting something-if reverse camera is fitted, the red line means you should stop reversing.(solid beep)

Just brought a standard 2020 ASX. How do i turn the spotlights down the bottom on. Have upgraded from a 2014 model, can't find a button or switch anywhere.

If it's the same as my 2012 one, there should be a ring below the headlight controls on the right.
Before driving a new car, you should study the owners manual. I always go through it with a highlighter. There is potential danger in not knowing how your vehicle operates.
As per Catherine above, check on the right side stalk by the steering wheel. There should be a ring to rotate just before the actual light toggle switch

Hi guys, only had my car brand new for a month and it has just started locking itself about 30 seconds after I exit. It hasnt done this previously. Anyone know why? Thanks

I have a 2022 black edition and have not had that problem...possibly ring the dealer service department where you purchased the vehicle and ask if this is normal on your model...
Don't worry yet. Check with your dealer. It could be an added extra feature. Many cars in Japan do that routinely as a safety precaution - same as the side mirrors closing when you lock and engines stopping when you stop at lights to save fuel. Be careful with latter - can use up your battery..
This should be a feature that you can disable. I think the doors automatically relock if the driver's door hasn't been opened within 30sec.
