Well-priced and very quiet freezer
The Mitsubishi MFU-160CWA was purchased when we needed a upright freezer to fit into a 500mm space.
The unit cooled very quickly and reached -10C within 1hour.
The removable drawers are easy to clean and allow larger items to be frozen.
The owners manual is easy to read and has good warnings about the heat-radiating from the sides and against over-loading the unit with excess cooling demands.
Incredibly narrow (500mm wide) so it fits in a small space. 5 year Warranty. Rapid cooling rate. Very quiet
Only one-star energy efficiency. The heat radiated from the sides of the unit demand the 20mm clearance quoted in the owners manual be adhered too.

5 year warranty plus a handy size for family of 4 with young kids
Picked this up for $500 from Harvey's. 5yr warranty from Mitsubishi sold me over the similar HiSense and Midea upright freezers.
Very quiet and had a batch of ice cubes frozen in 6hrs from power on.
Button style temp control lets you set the temp, but no built in thermometer makes it hard to actually set it perfectly.
1 "new" star energy rating is a let down, but I didn't expect a frost free freezer to achieve much more than this without paying $$$$.
Drawers are a usable size and you can fit two loaves of bread in a drawer with a bit of space left.
Good value for money. Quiet.

Hi Kev,
Seconds World sells a range of products. From New, carton damaged, or factory refurbished. These products are identifiable by the type of 'price ticket' displayed on the product. These tickets are colour coded and state which of the above categories they fit into it.
The majority of the stock sold to seconds world by Mitsubishi Electric is brand new stock.

What is the difference between each model for e.g. 160A 160B and 160C?

Hi Michelle,
There are no differences in the features between the MF-U160B and the newer MF-U160C. There are some internal changes to the MF-U160C making it 1 kg heavier... but that's it. There was no 160A model.
Kind regards,
