We have had trouble with the back door since the car was quite new. On some occasions it takes over 10 attempts before it will close. Most times it is 3-7 slams. The scariest thing is it has actually opened up twice accidentally while we were driving along. Luckily it was a dirt road, and we weren't going fast, and our 17 year old dog or groceries didn't tumble out the back! It has been back to the dealer twice for repair, and it's happened again just recently. Going back in tomorrow. I'm worried Mitsubishi will no longer honour the warranty, even though it is the same problem that doesn't seem to have been fixed from the first complaint. Has anyone else had this issue?
