Might have to actually take the vehicle to a Mitsubishi australia workshop or perhaps a reasonable auto electrician workshop may be able to reset the onboard computer .

What's involved to remove the sump on my 2.4L petrol ML triton? Will the sump come off in place or do I need to lift the motor or other parts to get enough clearance to remove it?
Many thanks for any help.
It doesn't seem like you know what you're doing so I would recommend instead to let a mechanic at the Mitsubishi dealers workshop to have a look at the vehicle or perhaps a reasonable mechanical repairs and servicing workshop may be able to help.
I can see the error in how I've worded my question, but as an ex mechanic, I've seen many vehicles where in order to remove the sump the adjacent k frame, steering rack or other components need to be...
Read more shifted temporarily in order to get the right angle or clearance to allow the sump to come clear. Also I realise that at very least the bash plate must be removed to even access the sump. At the time of posting this message I had just received a call from Mitsubishi, where the vehicle was for an unrelated warranty issue, that the sump was leaking slightly and that it would cost $500 to fix that day. So without the car in front of me to double check, I wasn't about to just say, I'll do it myself.......without a hoist, or engine crane at home.Have an ML with just over 265k on it, what I think is the clutch has gone on it (because of the smell) but I’ve been told that when the clutch goes you should still have drive to the wheels, but I don’t. Has anyone else had this problem or know what might be the problem? TIA
It seems like it's time to have the vehicle towed to a Mitsubishi australia workshop or perhaps a reasonable mechanical repairs and servicing workshop may be able to help.

I am getting a compression test completed on a 2007 Triton 3.2L turbo charged diesel with 260,000 km. If the engine is good what results would I expect? Graeme
Not sure though, if you have problems with a diesel engine I would recommend to take the vehicle to a diesel engine specialist workshop and they may be able to help.

Hi there, I really hope someone can help. We just bought our son his first car, a Mitsubshi Triton 2007 ML and as we were driving it home the engine light came on and the fault code tells us it is Insufficient Coolant Temperature for close loop Fuel Control - code Being-P01025.
So we replaced the the coolant temperature sensor removed the fault code and it was good, light went out but.... came bank on after about 100 kms, now it does this all the time out for 100 k's then back on for 100k's, you can almost guess when it will go out and back on again. Car warm's up nicely, heater works so its not the thermostat. And when the light is on, the only issue is she uses HEAPS of fuel.
Any help would be greatly appreciated?
It seems whoever sold you's the vehicle knew there was a serious fault within the vehicle.
If you can't return the thing then it might be time to take the vehicle to a Mitsubishi australia workshop ...
