Ineffective

published

I gave the powergard baits a week to work (they are supposed to be 2x as strong as the kill & protect baits). I was still finding decently-sized cockroaches as well as babies in my kitchen after a week's use. In fact I even found an empty egg casing in one of the baits after a week- the roaches are comfy enough to use the traps as their nursery. I cracked a few of the baits open with a pair of scissors and the bait capsules I saw were completely uneaten. Utterly useless!!

I am now trying the raid baits and talon gel-- hopefully that combination actually works.

Purchased in April 2021 at Coles.

Does not kill cockroaches

published

My kitchen is pristine. Had 8 of the 12 in my kitchen. They did nothing after being in my kitchen for 7 days. They used to work. Not now. Ignore.

Purchased in January 2021 for A$12.00.

Cockroach Homes.

published

Used together with spray and gel, I found this product to be ineffective for its intended use. Actually found cockroachs using it as their new home after only a few days. Sprays promise of 6 weeks protection laughable. Direct contact only.

Instruction says "snap them apart and they are ready for use". Replace after three months. How do I know how long they've been sitting on the shelf. When were they made? So far they have been bloody useless !!!

Hi Lyndal. Yes, bloody useless. There's a sticker on the back to note the month. Better results with roach gel and vigilant cleaning. Why provide a home for your newfound friends ?

I have called and messaged the Mortein rep a week ago. Still waiting! I rang the 1800 number on the box also and after 15 minutes on hold i was cut off. Pathetic!!!

Lyndal, give up. They don't work and won't tell you that. Like I said in my last reply, try a good quality gell and don't leave any food out.
