They have no idea on Customer Service
The ordering and physical collection of items were fine. However, one of the components is faulty and they cannot be contacted by phone, chat session or email. All temporarily closed. They have all been closed now for several weeks.
I ordered a custom-built video editing desktop from them and some components do not work. Lack of testing I am assuming. I purchase a powerful desktop every 2 years. This was the first time I have used Mwave. NEVER AGAIN. By the way, Mwave team, my phone number is 0427652358 if you read this review and care about after-sales service.

graphics card
i went to mwave since my graphics card had a buzzing sound, they told me that i had to wait 2-4 weeks which extended to 6 weeks at first they said there is absolutely nothing wrong with it which took 4 weeks for that, and then they emailed saying it is faulty and took another week to fix it and then they emailed me saying it is repaired and ready to pick up. so i picked it up and brought it home and nothing is fixed there is still the buzzing sound and now i have to take it back thank you for wasting 6 weeks mwave.

Horrible customer service
when you try to return a faulty item you realize how bad the customer service is. never again.
don't kid yourself that you're dealing with a reputable retailers.
Bought a $650 screen 2 pm yesterday - it doesnt work as expected. Called Mwave, Mwave says return it. 9AM i am there with the screen only to be given a run around.
Mwave tells me they will test it on Monday, it's Saturday today. Rednecks accuse me of dishonesty. I decided I will deal with Dell directly rather than listen to their insults.
DONT DO IT - FIND ANOTHER SHOP have 20 years+ experience with IT.

Customer service at front desk needs review
Went to the store last week and had a list of items i wanted to purchase and provided the list to the front desk and asked if they could do a better deal as the total amount was around $2600. The supposed manager looked at the list and said "Naa not really" and basically scoffed at the amount. A simple no would have suffice. The operator who was serving me told me its best to contact our head office by phone which i said ok no worries which is the reason why i gave this review 2 stars and not 1. he laptop which in retrospective when i think about it now i should have bought nothing and left. Ended up spending a few more dollars and ended purchasing the laptop via another provider. Horrible service won’t ever visit or shop again
Walked all the way from the station to their inconvenient location. Service was horrible and was spoken to rudely in front of customers. What’s the point of a show room if you cannot SHOW the products l. Especially if the product is misleading online. Advised we could only see products if we purchased them. When suggesting to purchase and refund if the colour was not as shown on the website the attendant continued to argue. Would rather spend my money at U-Mart

chase the product if it simply couldn’t be brought to the door to look through the clear plastic box but the person who served us rather argued instead of trying to actually demonstrate any form of good customer service. We visited around 1PM on Saturday. I have worked myself in customer service for many years and also in a similar warehouse setting and not once in the multitude of companies I have worked for have I ever heard of someone not being able to walk a product out of the warehouse to show a customer. Thank you though for wasting your time writing a review just as terrible as the service I received. Efficient and Understanding
I picked up 2 hard drives from the store and they both turned out to be faulty, a quick call and 5 minutes to submit a replacement ticket and i was on my way to getting a replacement, they took the hard drives tested it and replaced it on the spot. Turns out the replacement was faulty too (just my luck) another quick call and 5 minutes and i dropped my drives of and was refunded in 20 minutes.
unfortunately hard drives and storage come packed from the manufacturer so there was no way that Mwave could test the units before sale, fault of the manufacturer or shipping but a hassle for me none the less.

Support Staff are amazing
I had a strange compatibility issue with a motherboard from a normally trusted brand. The MWave support staff handled the situation professionally, diligently and with a sense of urgency normally lacking in the computer repair game. They kept me informed every step of the way and I don't think I could have asked for anything better from them. In the end they pulled the entire product line from sale to prevent future issues for other customers. All in all I'm very grateful to the technical support team at MWave. Thank You.

Terrible beyond belief
Order our items online not realising it required 24 hours to process and that does not apply for the weekend.
Went to store to collect, guy explained the situation, 1 item was not in store but at supplier ....fair enough as we were not aware he placed the order of 1 of the items to the warehouse to pick at 10:20 am by 12:15, last ones in the shop we still did not have our item ????? went to desk to ask was advised the warehouse was busy.
Everyone that came after us had their order and gone. There was also another chap when we got there he got his 1 item not long before us ....
The system does not work and sucks we will NEVER be ordering again.

Good range, too long to process order
I purchased an in stock item in the store and it took them 1 hour 15 minutes to process my order. Totally unacceptable. I've raised this in the hope that it will be addressed as its happened more than once to me and also to others from what I seen in recent reviews...pity as Mwave have a good selection of products that are competitively priced.

Very good all round service
Mwave woud have to be the most reliable computer parts store that I have found, and I've dealt with them for many years. I like their online store for ease of shopping, they will generally have the product available and their prices may not be the lowest around but they are always better than most. I've also found their after sales service and backup to be excellent.

Pickup
I purchased some items via the online website and did a click and collect. The price was competiitive and available from a local store. Overall, a good experience.
A couple points to note, Mwave charges a fee to use most payment methods. If you elect to avoid the payment fee, it means BPAY, which is a relatvely slow payment service. So, allow 3 additional business days for the payment to be processed and accepted.
I was not the only one wishing to collect my purchases via click and collect. The Mwave store had a dedicated queue to line up in for the collection process. As I waited, I observed the PC cases on display with all their coloured lighting. There were 4 people in front of me and the pick up process took about 10 minutes.

Very helpful and friendly warranty service
Very happy, Mwave store handled a warranty issue on a water cooler in an Mwave custom bUilt PC very effectively with quickly. It was a pain free experience and would encourage me to purchase from them again!

The wait in line took a while. Perhaps setting up a pre-alert system to when customers might come will help the warehouse prepare.

Positive experience. Order ready for pickup 24hrs later. However the pickup line takes a while. One person serving. Need more staff to help when the line gets above 5 customers.

I use multiple PC stores for parts but used Mwave this time.
Prices for my mobo, memory and cpu were overall a bit cheaper than my other PC stores.
Service very professional and quick for a Saturday pickup.

We have advised you to hold the PC as the USB ports on the front don't seem to be a critical issue and we can address for warranty when things normalise. We also gave you some suggestions on how to fix the ports. We have also advised you of a backlog due to staff WFH and internal COVID19 policies and that there would be delays in processing your RA if you brought your PC in now.
