Affordable quality happy customer
When my son turned 8 months old I decided to invest in 20 reusable nappies with ordeirary lining that came with the nappies. I change my son very frequently because I don’t like the thought of his pee sitting on his skin for long. These nappies seam to keep him dry. They wash beautifuly (I’m not currently using liners because his poo at this age is solid so I just scoop it off and flush it away). I’m Huggies disposables overnight but am considering using more liners or investing in the 5 layer liners. I am confident that if I used more liners I...Read more
would be able to sleep him in them. Until I washed these a few times I had a little bit of leakage but just a little bit of dampness. The seller was very quick to post. Overall I will use this brand in the future for my son and my next baby. I personally think I wouldn’t worry about washables for a newborn but that is because I was soooo tired I don’t think I would have handled another task of washing nappies every day. I use 10 a day normally and this gives me plenty to be able to put them in to be washed that night and kind dried or clothes dryer dried the next morning. Poo comes out easy by the way... at least my babies poo does. I just spray it with a home made prewash mic that has eucalyptus and normal detergent in a water spray bottle. January 8th 2018 Update: My son started sleeping through So I’ve been cloth diapering now for about two months. I started just through the day and now I use them overnight as well. At first I wasn’t confident in the absorption over night for my son, he’s 9.5 months now. But now that I have the hang of things and a washing routine I just started using them overnight as well. Guess what! As soon as I did this my son started to sleep through to 530 from 7!!! He is usually up at least once sometimes twice and it’s usually when he has done a wee. I’ve been waiting to write my review here until I felt more ‘experienced’... but this has just rocked my world. I did notice initially that his day time naps got better but I wasn’t ‘sure’ it was the nappies. I tested my theory twice now putting him in a huggie at the beginning of two different nights a week apart and he woke both times! But has slept every other night for two weeks... I use the charcoal 5 layer liner and one normal liner that comes with the nappy, with the normal liner I fold it and use it at the front for maximum absorption for boys. It keeps him dry, I have only ever had two leaks which were explainable; the first I had the nappy way too loose just when I first started using them and the second before I adjusted the ‘height’ buttons on the nappy to fit him better. He’s 9kg and so I fold the first height buttons down, and for the hip clip I clip the second one across and then the forth so that there are only 2 buttons left in the middle, this just seams to be my boys best fit after i played with them, and that’s the beauty of it they are adjustable and more flexible than a huggies for fit. During his activity times i only use a charcoal liner without the normal liner as I can usually either ‘catch’ the next wee on the change table in the nappy or he only is in them for a short time before he tells me he’s done one. This just gives him a little more breathing room while he’s up. The company are amazing with their buyers. I stupidly put the charcoal liners through a strip wash only shortly after I purchased them and the colour ran into the other nappies and liners. I told the company because I felt it would be good to put this in their care instructions to warn other mums of it happening. They did and they also offered some reimbursement in ‘good will’ to me for some of the cost. I use cheeky wipes and warm water that stays warm for a day in a thermos... yes it’s quite luxurious with warm water lol. For liners I discovered accidentally when my husband put a wet wipe in the nappy bin (cause he prefers to use the easy quick wipe...even though I actually find my cloth wipes and water easier because I don’t have to fight the lid on the wipes and I just chuck them straight in the nappy bin) that they come out of the wash really well so I use two and rewash them when it’s only wee and just throw them away when there are solids... usually its easy enough to let a solid fall off these wipes into the toilet and throw the wipe in the bin. Otherwise I had first been using flushable bamboo dry wipes which are only $5 for a box of 100. Thanks to my little ripple for your great product. I highly recommend these to any Mum! For the cost of huggies, I have already paid mine off (20 nappies and 20 charcoal liners) and I feel that my son is cleaner, dryer, happier for switching to cloth! Just give it a go! I wish I switched so much sooner! I will return to this seller because I know they are great nappies! July 2018, now 15 months old. The 20 nappies have worn very well with a lot of use. The light blue colour for some reason have perished but I didn’t buy many of them and the others all seam fine. My son is now 10.5kg and still fitting him well, a few adjustments along the way. I actually prefer the softer 4 layer bamboo instead of the charcoal, I think they are more comfortable for him. Still highly recommend this product, currently pregnant with ds 2 and purchasing another lot.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
Love My Little Ripple
These are wonderful quality nappies. The sizing guide is accurate. They still fit my now 17 month old. She's used them almost everyday since she was born and they are still in wonderful condition. A lot better quality then other brands I've used on both my daughter and son before her. I'm about to have Bub number 3 and I'm going back to buy to buy another set from my little ripple for this one. Highly recommend.

My Little Ripple Cloth Nappies Happy to do a review for you my mum bought me second hand ones years
Excellent quality for money I was first introduced to them when my mum bought me second hand ones years back only thing I didn't like because didn't work for me was microfibre inserts. I swapped them out for trifold bamboo inserts 2 kids on and 5yrs they are still going strong. My Little Ripple now stock bamboo inserts. So if your a mum on a budget or simply just want quality great nappies with cute prints while reducing your ecofoot print then look no further these nappies are fantastic.

Budget price, budget quality
These nappies are cheap but the quality isn't great. I've used the nappies with & without hip snaps & the cotton inserts & bamboo inserts. I've experimented with different fitting & combinations of nappies & inserts & think I've given them a pretty good road test:
- the nappies without hip snaps are a waste of time. They leak at the inner leg quite quickly.
- the nappies with hip snaps are better, but you need 2 inserts to get a couple of hours out of them. This makes the nappy quite bulky & (I think) a bit uncomfortable for baby to sleep i...Read more

Okay
These nappies are really really affordable which is why I bought my whole stash of my little ripple.
They didn't fit at the start even with extra snaps so you will more than likely have to wait a month or two until they fit right.
My son would wet through every time after only a couple of hours of wearing. I then began double stuffing which solved the problem and with 50 nappies originally i, I had enough to spare.
Double stuffing was a little more time consuming and much bulkier, so I began looking for a new brand.
I am now using cloth fulltime with the hippybottomus brand nappies which are super super absorbent and they really are "stay dry nappies". They aren't overly expensive either.

I love my little ripple MCNs
I love the range of colours but most of all that they contain the ever dreaded "poo explosion" my son likes to do.. leaking wise only happens if bub sleeps for ages n I don't change his nappy.. other then that I'm super happy with this product for the price I paid.. which is very reasonable mind you ( 30 MCN for $110). :) Great investment :)
colours, price and the fact they contain poo explosions
dont have any :)

Great Product but be wary of some reviews
These nappies have gotten better as bub grows, when he was first born we had a fair bit of leakage out the legs he had skinny legs but this has settled as he has gotten fatter,
I recommend being mindful of some reviews as we have nappies that look the same - minus the little ripple tag - and they do leak at the press stud spots. The "not little ripple nappies" also collect a lot of lint on the fabric lining which is annoying, we have never had this issue with the my little ripple nappies. We can't use them overnight even with liners as baby s...Read more

Great nappies
I have used these nappies from 2011 I also have other brands little ripper have lasted longer. Don't think if you spend big money you will get a better nappy. I have the bare wear bums around $25 each their fit is a little better but that is all. I am onto using little ripper on my 2nd child and still loving them.
last a long time and look great
have to make sure you do the washing right all the time no cutting corners.

Thought they were great but...
I heve been using them for 4 months now (since daughter was 3 months old) and had no leaks if I made sure I changed them religiously every 2 hours but now they have started leaking where the extra buttons are attached to chage the size. Very annoying, I have to change clothes a few times a day now.
price, worked well for three months
leaking in odd places

Love them!
I have been using these mcns for 9 months exclusively and have had great results. Have had the occaisional leak but no different to terry squares with pilchers. Easy to put on and adjust, easy to wash. Great for daily use. I use extra booster at night and have had no problems. Great value for money. have saved a fortune compared to disposables.

Expect leaks and a short lifespan
I bought these on eBay - 10 nappies + 12 inserts for $39, (approx the cost of 1 box of Huggies), so thought I would give them a try.
Initially I was very satisfied with my purchase, and found them easy to use on my then 8 month old boy and they looked great with the bright colours. I had some leaks, but found that manageable.
However as the months went by the leaks seemed to be getting worse. I experimented by adding extra booster pads (microfiber and bamboo), strip washing, trying looser/tighter fits to get it right, but the problem c...Read more
ontinued to get worse and it got to the point that every time I went out I would get a leak. I then turned to using them just around at home (after 6 months of use). Then I noticed that the leaks were no longer coming from out the side of the nappy (they always seemed to gape there), but they were actually coming through the PUL fabric, so the laminate had failed despite following the washing instructions, so I gave up on these nappies. I wish I had spent more upfront on one of the good brands that would last 2-3 kids, not 2-3 months, to not be left at the point now of returning to disposables or purchasing more nappies. You get what you pay for. Inexpensive, bright colours Leaked, poor quality, did not last.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

My little ripple really good
I've bought 10 my little ripple nappies on ebay for 2yrs old as i want to get rid of all disposable nappy for the transition to potty/toilet.I have the bigger size, not the standard size. They are very well made(design, fabric, stitches) and they do the job. They fit perfect and do not slide down or whatsoever. Unfortunately there were not a variety of colors to pick from in the big size.I wash them every 3rd day.I store them in a dry pail and machine wash them on the "handwash"setting including a 30min soak(always come out as new).I use the nature's organic laundry liquid as i think its natural.Would surely recommend them.
very reliable,very well made.
not enough colours to choose from.

Fine for a cheap, workhorse nappy
These are a great nappy to have at grandparents place, daycare or tucked away as an emergency in the car.
We started using them fairly early on and the fit on a newborn was terrible. We had so many poosplosions! From three months on, however, they were great. And once solids were introduced and bub was not purely breasted, they were even better.
They are easy to put on and hard for our baby to take off, as they use snaps on the side. As they are osfm, we have been able to adjust them as necessary and each time they have worked perfectly.

Very Happy
Have been using these nappies for 3 months now with my little girl and couldn't be happier. We have had the occasional leak her and there, but it would have happened if we were using disposables too. I think they are excellent value for money. I would recommend you change your baby often, so that they don't stay wet, which also stops leakage and nappy rash. We purchased 30 nappies to start with and this seems to be the magic number, we use anywhere from 5 to 10 nappies per day depending on hunger and weather. Looking forward to using them with ...Read more
our second baby, and would happily recommend them to our friends. Also, what might come in handy is a disposable liner to take care off the poo situation. Leaked every time
These nappies are terrible - I followed all the istructions washed them before use etc... but after 3 washes and 4 wears by my baby they still leaked. The outer "microfibre" is not absorbent at all and I did a test by pouring water onto it and it all ran off - none soaked in.
Don't waste your money - you get what you pay for!
The price
Leaked every time it got wet

My favourite modern cloth nappies
My Little Ripple are my new favourite MCNs. I have itti bitti, and Baby Beehinds but for ease of use and price you can't go past My Little Ripple. I was a bit dubious at first wondering how they could sell them so cheaply (have since discovered they are made in China by mutliple companies and then stores like My Little Ripple put their brand on them) but when they are so cheap I decided I had nothing to lose by trying them, and I am so glad I did.
They are pocket nappies which makes them really easy to use and also makes them very daddy fri...Read more
endly. The expensive brands tend to have lots of layers and snap in flaps that all need to be in the right place, but pocket nappies are as easy as disposables. I washed them twice before using them and their absorbency is great. I have been using them at night with 2 inserts in them and they work really well. Haven't yet had a leak which is great. The PUL covers (which I thought may be a bit yucky since they are cheap) are really soft so they are nice against bub's skin. I have recommended these to all my friends who use MCNs. I definitely won't get any more of the expensive nappies again. Really absorbent, great for night use and really cheapSimilar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Great product!
My first reason for switching to cloth nappies was to save money. When I saw the prices of other brands I was shocked. I came across 'my little ripple' on ebay and was pretty skeptical at first. They were so much cheaper than other brands. Once I started using them I could not believe how great they work. I have since bought more and use them full time. They have never leaked and work well for both my 3 yr old ( she only wears a nappy at night, and it holds every time) and 10 mth old children. I recommend them to any one who is thinking of trying cloth nappies.
The price,quality.

why pay more?
when i stumbled on these nappies i was a little sceptical because all similar products i found were around $20 a peice, 5 times more than My Little Ripple were selling them for. My bub has been in them since birth we got around leg leaks by using 2 inserts. ( even with a second insert they aren't more than $5) He is now 12 months old and none of the nappies are showing wear. so i say why pay more!!? (unless you are after a brand name)
absolutely best value MCN's and they are excellent quality
needs two inserts but they are as cheap as dirt so not really a con

Excellent product at a very affordable price.
I bought 20 via the internet on a special about a month ago. $77 for 20 nappies and 20 inserts, super value compared to some more expensive brands. Service and delivery time was fantastic and they are a very good product for the price. My 13 kilo, 13 month old son is wearing them comfortably on large size with two snaps on either side still to go. Can't comment on how they would fit a newborn but I will definitely be buying more and using them with my next baby. I use disposables at night but I think if you wanted to use them overnight you woul...Read more

Great for a cheap nappy
These are what I call the generic nappy on ebay. Heaps of sellers seem to sell the same nappy. I bought 10 nappies with 20 liners for $55 and I am really happy with them. I wasn't sure wether to buy them cause I thought they might be completly different from the pic but they were exactly the same. They are suprisingly good quality with nice bright colours; also the snaps/clips are good quality also. I think the outside/shell of the nappy is as good as many other expensive nappies. The inserts are microfibre and are nice qulity but don't hold he...Read more

Hey all!
We are expecting and are thinking of using these nappies but on recieving 1 as a sample we noticed that it states on the tag that rash creams, powders etc. shouldnt be used. Would appreciate any feedback from current users as to how they negotiated this???? Cheers

Hello Zozfozzle, although I don't use MCN yet (I have been researching them), and from what I have read you can use flushable or reusable liners with your MCN. I hope this helps.
Hi Zozfozzle, I've been using MCN for18mths now and have found that liners are the best way around Nappy Rash Cream. The problem with the cream is that it's made to form a barrier between bubs bottom and the wee/poo, and so it does the same thing on the nappy and as it builds up, prevents the wee being absorbed. As CJ15 mentioned, you can get flushable or reusable - the flushable are thinner and it's great to be able to throw the poop down the loo with the liner, but I've found that a little cream sometimes seems to be able to make it's way through, and once the cream's on the nappy it's near impossible to get off, so I've been using reusable microfleece liners when I use cream, they are thicker and hold the cream - obviously the cream will stick to the liner though, just like it does to the nappy, so eventually you'll have to buy more liners, but they're much cheaper than new nappies :)
I get mine from Bumpy Buns - www.bumpybuns.com.au.
I used MCN with reusable micro fleece liners for my son for 15months (from birth to toilet training). I would buy a metre of micro fleece fabric from spotlight for approx $7 and cut it to desired size. They would last for ages and I always got heaps so it was affordable to.
