Based on your description, it seems like your device is on demonstration mode.
To get this rectified, please perform a hard reset to the device by poking the reset hole at the back of the device. Then, try to go to the main menu > Settings > Scroll down > Select Demo > Select Off (first option) > confirm by selecting Yes.

My Navman Duo Drive 2.0 camera is not functioning The red dot shows its recording but when i touch the camera on the bottom left hand corner of the map screen the camera is displaying a black screen Same with the rear camera. I have tried resetting and it still doesnt work.

There is a fault with the SD Card. Try formatting the SD card either through the Navman or via the PC. To do this:
If the problem persists, it is recommended to replace the SD Card as this is causing the issues.

Darb is right. The problem could be caused by your microsd card. Please ensure that you are using a High Endurance card, which is designed for intense read/write like in a dash camera, and not general cards like SanDisk Ultra or Samsung EVO. Also be sure to back up your data once a month and format the card to keep it in tip top shape.

The Drive Duo 2.0 instruction manual doesn't give instructions for the dashcam functions, like how to operate & is it a continuous drive feature?

The dashcam functions are available when you choose Drive Recorder from the main menu.

and go to page 54 of manual (which was on page 149 [of 195] in pdf that I downloaded)

To customize the dash cam settings, go to pages 56-58.

Hi Chis,
Your device should record automatically once turned on. At the bottom left part of the map screen, the video camera icon should have a red dot in the middle, as it indicates that a recording is ongoing. To check if it is indeed recording, you may tap the video camera icon on the map, then tap the another camera icon.

I have recently purchased the Duo2 from HN. I had tried to do the Trade-In offer for this unit, but was told that the Duo2 was out of stock for online Trade in. I had to pay the full price to update my dead MiVue Drive LM, which was disappointing. Even though I've read several bad reviews for the Duo2 I didn't like many of the alternatives, so went ahead. So far the Duo2 has been brilliant, and I can honestly say the video playback is superb. My one gripe though is the annoying bumper alert that goes off every 30 seconds. I can't find a setting to turn it off, so maybe you could enlighten me how to edit this distraction to OFF

Sorry for the delays. Is this happening even when using a different power source? Like USB to PC or an AC Mains charger?
Please also check the green light indicator on the car power adapter if it turns on and off. If yes, we might need to get a replacement car power adapter. Since performing a hard reset did not work, please try the following troubleshooting steps to fix the problem:
1. Perform a Smart Recovery using the disc that was supplied with the device upon purchase. Please note that this process can only be done using a compatible Windows computer that has a DVD drive. You may go to the link below for the steps on how to reinstall the software on your device.

Hi Michele,
From how I understand your query, it's either you want to stop the tutorial or disable the demo mode.
To stop the tutorial on Drive DUO 2.0, simply go to settings > help > view tutorial >tap the box to remove the check.
To stop the demo, go to settings > demo > then select 'Off'.

Sorry to hear that you cannot delete the saved information on your device. Let me do my best to help. You can try the following steps to fix the problem:
1. To clear the data such as Favourites and Recent Addresses, please CLICK HERE <https://service.navman.com/M0100/F0110_DownLoad_Faq.aspx?bullid=AllBull&faqid=131255> for the steps.
*Note: if it's your first time visiting our FAQ site, select a region first then try the link again.
2. If still the same, restore factory default settings by following the steps below.
1. Go to main menu.
2. Tap on ‘Settings’.
3. Scroll down the menu by tapping on the arrow pointing down.
4. Select ‘Device’.
5. Select ‘Restore factory defaults’. Please note that you will lose all stored information on the unit including addresses and learned driver behavior.
6. Confirm that you wish to restore the factory default settings by selecting ‘Yes’.
7. The unit will now reset itself to factory default settings.
8. You will need to select the language, date and time formats that you wish to use on the unit.
