Unsure about road trains as there is a box to tick to say b double.. I don’t have the actual system here at the moment.. It’s in the truck at the depot.. When I set it up initially I entered 64.5 Tonne, 26 meter length, 2.5 wide & 4.3 high.. I am fairly certain that weight and length can be put higher but unsure what the maximum limits are..

Yes Gr8 for programming truck runs, highlight large freight routes and better direction for larger vehicles, and lane locations and blockages up ahead

Hi Mardi,

Thank you for posting your query.

Mick Rae and Thomas are correct. We can set up the truck dimensions into the device as it has Truck mode feature and the maximum truck weight that you can set is 68T including load. Please be informed that the My truck III is not suitable for road trains or B triple.

BDouble yes..
I operate B Doubles but I also don’t rely wholly on any GPS.. I always double check my routes..
Also I have found the B Double routes aren’t always accurate.. I would say due to the Govt changing all the time..
It tells me at times my route isn’t B Double rated do I want to continue and if I am sure it is I continue.. Others tell me I can’t do it to either height, weight or even length restrictions.. Again if I know I am ok I go into car mode and continue..
Minor thing really..
Overall I am pleased..

Hi Monty,

They are right. B-double route is built in for the MY Truck 3. For your convenience, you may download the user manual here: https://www.navman.com.au/gps-user-guides

Yeah mate. The navman my truck 2 has done that to me as well, maybe the $500 I paid for the GPS wasn't enough to pay for the GPS and for the tasks its meant to do.

The MYtruck2 will do this as well.

You will need to get into the programming side of the unit and put the vehicles weight, length & height.

This should help.

Our truck2 freezes and has bought us up towards a low bridges and tried to take us down very narrow streets.

Not the greatest idea when you're driving a semi; and in an area you don't know.

My experience is no maybe i got a faulty unit but there service team suck multiple emails with all details of the problems only to be told call a number and they will guide you threw which i did every time i tried something and it didn't work i would call back only to get someone new and have to start all over again very frustrating when your trying work driving a truck and they want you to get on the computer ..........

If I go to McDonalds and get a BigMac with a dead rat in it and they argue with me for 6 months before giving a refund, I'm not going to walk back in and order a BigMac. I'm guessing mine must've been the original version. The product and service was so bad I'll never be considering any Navman product again.
