This machine has been great in so many ways. I use it daily for my health shakes and after 3 years it’s just starting to get a little whirring sound up.
The larger bowl is really easy to use and easy to clean. Being able to place in the dishwasher has been another great benefit. Multi purpose jugs and blades allows many options in the kitchen

I bought several years ago the Ninja blender, included a smaller and larger bowl as well copping blades and mixing paddle. The Ninja works well for mixing cream, eggs etc. But the reason I bought it, believing the TV info-commercial, to chop, blend and prepare juice/smoothies. Well what a hoax on TV (it pulverizes the vegetables).
No smooth chopping and blending into a delicious smoothie as per T. Depending on the vegetable, its grainy or a just a sludge. I drink it with enough water in it, but the kids dislike it- preferring the 'nutribullet' prepared smoothie we just bought. Perhaps I should have spend more money right at the 'start' and buying the 'vitamix'.
All those positive reviews, I wonder if they are these paid survey writers.

Exactly like the ads. Blend and and crushes within seconds & can make so many things.
Only downside is the cleaning because I don't have a dishwasher.
I dropped the jug a couple times & it's still going strong.

purchased in 2013 and great for basis but could have bought reputable brand in stores instead of paying $800+ via tv shop. I have dropped the food processing bowl, called to order part. Ninja dont make parts for discontinued model and was told to go to ebay or amazon. Really disappointed the cost to replace $170 from the US + shipping. Please beware Ninja only interested in new sales and do not support older model parts. could have purchased a store brand every year and still ahead of initial purchase

So...I bought a Ninja. It replaced an old GE food Processor that my mom handed down to me in 2008. The GE food processor was from, somewhere around 1984. My mom had it for decades. After she gave it to me, I used it in my café and in my personal kitchen. During it's life span, I had to replace 1 part and it was because I washed it wrong. At the beginning of this year I gave that GE food processor to another family member. It still worked fine, but I needed a new blender anyways and wanted to save kitchen space. So, I purchased a Ninja sy...
Read morestem (Professional grade). It broke six months later. They're sending me a replacement part, but it was supposed to be sent at the beginning of Sept. and now they're not sure if it will get here by Christmas. It works ok, but forgive me if I'm not completely wowed. If I had it to do all over again, I'd just keep the GE Processor and spend the money on a good blender. #notimpressed- Date Purchased

We have had our Ninja Mega Kitchen System for about 3 years now- it does a great job when it comes to blending and mixing, but fails miserably when it comes to chopping/dicing/slicing fruits and vegetables.
It chops clumsily, cutting uneven pieces and spits out a tonne of mess. Extremely disappointing!!
Build quality is good overall with the exception of the food processing components.
The Mega Kitchen System is extremely overpriced. Definitely NOT worth the money! I suggest that you stick to the basic Ninja blender and steer clear of the Mega Kitchen System.
Extremely disappointed in the quality of the BL770. I have had it a little more than a year, however only have used it a dozen times and the mechanical parts of the mixing bowl have broken. Called the support contact number and they are quick to advise (Quote: "Do you want the bad news or the bad news") that this model is now discontinued and there are no parts available for it.
Product is not fit for use...

Bought this 2 years ago and at first all good - parts/aka cheap plastic continue to break and crack rendering bowls, etc. unusable and no replacement parts available in Australia - cost of imported placement parts is prohibitive. The single cups are great for smoothies but that's about it.

We've had ours for 3 years now and the plastic in the single serve blade part cracked. So now we can't use the single serve cups at all because it leaks everytime we try use it. Thinking we are still under warranty -5yrs, but it doesn't cover 'consumables'!! How is this a 'consumable' part??? SO the 5 yrs warranty they should really advertise it as 5 yr warranty on the motor only! The customer service was amazingly rude. 1st call, they told me I will receive a call back within 24hrs. I waited 3 days and nothing. I called back and the guy who an...
Read moreswered was so rude and tried to sell me a new cup, so pushy and not helpful at all. I am so disappointed. It didn't even perform as well as it said in the 1st place when we got it but I still kept it because I liked having an all-in-one space saver system. I should have sent it back! (ah i didn't want to pay the expensive postage back either!) I am now crying.... Wasted our money.- 4 reviews

I bought my Ninja mega kitchen system December 2014, from a TV shop, a year on and I still use it everyday!!!
The single cups are great for making healthy smoothies, dips, sauces... my new favorite use of the single cup at the moment is almond meal, it blends it to a perfect flour consistency, great for cakes and gluten free recipes.
I also use the processor cup to make cakes, all sorts of dough, bread and to mince all sorts of meat. There are two different blades for the processor cup, one for shredding food and other to mix dough.
I don`...

I bought my first machine and was quite excited, it seemed to have all the functions I wanted. The first thing I tried to use machine for was to make a vegetable smoothies. Pushing the single cup button seemed to be a good function but my machine would work for few secs then stop, I worked out that it was somehow unlocking the cup so I would have to twist back on to get it going again. Again it would repeat the whole process I ended up with a cup of glug it was undrinkable. To top that off the machine would make a grinding noise it didnt sound ...
Read moregood so back it went. I thought long and hard about getting a replacement, had the box sitting here for two weeks before opening it. I unpacked my new machine thinking positively that this time it would be perfect. Well not to be, this time I tried a different function and decided to slice some vegetable up. I could not believe it as soon as I pushed the button the motor would start it lasted just 10 seconds before the whole top would unlock and stop working, it was almost like the motor was too powerful, just guessing. So you would have to stop twist the top back into lock position and start again, and again the machine would cut a little then the top would unclick stopping the machine again. Again and again I tried my daughter worked out if you held chute in place with your elbow the machine worked fine, but did I really want to spend that much money stand there with my elbow holding top in place so it wouldn't unclick from locked position. NO, so back it went. Currently I am without a machine until I figure out what the best option is for me, very disappointed.- 2 reviews

I have purchased a NINJA mega kitchen system early this year and have tried everything to make this stupid product work "as advertised" and it does not work. Everything is thick and gluggy and often leaves fruit and vegetables whole. It is NOT worth the money or the effort. My 9 year old blender works better and is stronger. Also be ware, when you call up and make a complaint regarding the problems you have, they do not record anything so that you don't have a leg to stand on if you want a refund or exchange.
Love love love my Ninja Mega Kitchen System..Got it for Xmas last year and it gets used everyday... .I make green smoothies every morning using Frozen Kale or spinach and Frozen pineapple with coconut water...super fast and blends evenly for a smooth non grainy drink...I make my own Almond Meal using the mixer and Almond butter...
Blending hot soups in the pitcher is brilliant again creamy smooth hot soup.. Straight from stove to the pitcher to eating...
The pitcher is also great for frozen cocktails
