Our buying guide will explain which type of blender would suit you most, how much you can expect to pay for one, and which features are worth looking out for.
Small and versatile
I love the versatility of this product and value for money. I bought this for $99.
If you have a small kitchen where space is a commodity, this is a great purchase. I use this for blending up smoothies, the motor is strong enough to blend ice. You can then flip it over and use the big jug for making mash potatoes, spice blends and doughs. I like the minimalist design, it barely takes up any space on the kitchen benchtop.
I purchased this two years ago and not had any issues with it.

Good buy!
Nitro ninja blender is extremely powerful. It can blitz through pretty much anything. I have used it to blitz up 250g of raw almonds with no issue at all. The 2 in 1 function means that it can be used as a food processor which is handy for a small kitchen.

Love the size of this. Does not take up any space of my home at all and I can leave out all year round. Would recommend to anyone to keep one at home.

Not bad at all!
I've been using this blender for more than a year. It's reliable and strong. Blends nuts and seeds etc. It's a little bit difficult to wash because of the shape, but other than that I would recommend this!

Great cost effective product
It's unfortunate that this has been discontinued. It's cheap, reliable and cost effective solution to your great need of smoothe maker. My parents like it so much so we bought another piece with great discount before it made discontinue. They just love it's feature. It's nice and easy to use. Very easy clean.

Well priced and easy to clean. only con is too loud to use at night
We are very happy with the Nutri Ninja 2 in 1 which we purchase when it was on special for 50. It has been awesome for all sort of occasion. Super easy to use and clean. The only down is too loud to use at night but otherwise we love it and very good for a small family like ours. perfect to blend for baby food or ice for beverage as well.

Very handy and durable for its size
Love love my nutri ninja! Bought this when JB had it for sale at $40. Been using it for over 2 years on daily basis for my daily juice. The downside is you cant blend for more than 1min or the machine will overheat, however its really great for any simple juice/milkshake

Great
I was not willing to pay $200+ for the Nutri bullet so I purchased the ninja. It only costs less than half of the Nutri bullet. And I was so happy with my decision. It works well. I make smoothies and I also use it to make baby food for my little one. Easy to clean and I bought a spare one just in case the first one stop working.

The best kitchen appliance I have purchased.
Many times we purchase something and we use it once and then it gets stored away never to be seen again. Well this Nutri Ninja is certainly not that product. This product is versatile, able to make shakes, smoothies, blend my protein shakes. I purchased this 2 years ago and till this day I still use it for my daily fruit smoothies.
Still going strong, highly recommended.

Great but chunky
This blender is great if you want to make not huge amounts of juice and leave the fiber in your juice. We use it all the time, especially in summer.

Better than the Nutribullet and a lot cheaper
This blender is perfect. I bought it because of the price after I had already ordered the Nutribullet. I tried them both and sent the Nutribullet back. It doesn't take up as much space as the other appliances like this. I use it every morning to make my breakfast smoothie of bananas, honey, cinnamon, yoghurt, strawberries and blueberries. It only takes a minute to blend it all into a lovely smooth smoothie.

Perfect fitness pal
I bought this blender thinking it could very well be another poor tv gimmick. I was pleasantly surprised when I used it. I’ve had this blender-food professor duo for a couple years now and it’s served me well!
Protein balls, dip, smoothies .... and I mean a lot of smoothies!
The blue dability is just so good for its miniature size.
Highly recommend. :)

Excellent!
Nice, small, compact machine, use most days for smoothies, I was a bit sceptical regarding how much power this would really have, but it's great, rips through frozen fruit without a drama, whips cream in seconds. Got at woolworths reduced from $120 to $45 even better! Had mine for 17 months now & still going great.

Does exactly what it should
Great quality. Makes awesome smoothies for the whole family. We bought ours from the local Woolworths for $99 and couldn't be happier. One big thing i love is it crushes ice evenly which my old blender never did.

So good
This machine works wonders for smoothies. It's fast so for morning starts it's a great way to get all the nutrients I need in breakfast. Sometimes it doesn't fully blend up things like nuts and dried fruit but it's definitely reliable and I know that it will blitz up berries, greens and various other light weight fruits and veges.
It's quite loud but sister then some machines, and because it's quick it's only loud for a few seconds.

Cup does not seal correctly. When I put only 200-300ml of water which has been warmed to 80c and protein shake. I do up tight and shake cup to check it will not leak before I place on unit. I then place on unit for approx 10 sec. The cup pressurises and leakes everywhere. Can you explain why as the cup size can take up to 400ml?

Hi Alison,
i experienced the same when i used warm water.
the problem is the warm water....
i think the best solution is to first blend the protein shake with some room temp. water
and then add warm water and stir with a spoon...
