Cup does not seal correctly. When I put only 200-300ml of water which has been warmed to 80c and protein shake. I do up tight and shake cup to check it will not leak before I place on unit. I then place on unit for approx 10 sec. The cup pressurises and leakes everywhere. Can you explain why as the cup size can take up to 400ml?

Hi Alison,
i experienced the same when i used warm water.
the problem is the warm water....
i think the best solution is to first blend the protein shake with some room temp. water
and then add warm water and stir with a spoon...

Hi, does Nutri Ninja Slim blend soaked raw cashews to creamy consistency?

I honestly haven't tried it in my Nutri Ninja but my guess would be no as it's really just a smoothie blender. I have an old Sunbeam Oskar mini that I use to blend nuts and it's brilliant, I make peanut butter in it. I have tried many blenders including my Optimum, but nothing does it as well as my old Oskar. However the Optimum does Almond milk well.

I feel that each base has a different size cup because that's the way companies can make money by making you buy the whole set.

How does this blender go with oranges? I would love to have OJ with the healthy part included. My current blender leaves a lot of bits. Thanks

It will blend nearly everything bar the odd brick or bone ... But if you don't mind the bitterness that comes from including the citrus pith then it will dispatch it well. This bitterness can be masked though. I've found lemon juice (of all things) to do the job or a drizzle of honey. Put the honey in last so it drains through the contents.

To be honest I have not used it with oranges, but I have used pineapple and haven't had a problem.

How does the nutri ninja go with oranges? My current blender leaves a lot of bits. Would like to make fresh orange juice with the benefit of the fruit as well.

I've blended it with oranges before and (make sure seeds are out) it's been fine. No more different then getting or games with pulp in it.
