If you go on E BAY you will find a lot of suppliers for all the Ninja Parts. You a lucky yours is still working-mine just stopped for no reason. Good Luck. I might have to give you my blade aye!

I just bought a BL490T Ninja. It came with two Nutri Ninja Cups with lids and also a Pro Extractor blade that can be used on the Nutri Ninja Cup. I have a question for those who have used this Nutri Ninja Cup. Can this device be used for grinding coconut with spices to a smooth paste?

Hi. I think I remember reading that you can't, but I'm not sure! We bought ours from The Good Guys. My only suggestion is to check with whoever you purchased it from, or one of the other suppliers.

You mean "I" with a capital and "too" in this context. The tip is ... Don't put hot liquids in these bullet style blenders as they build up pressure, that increase in pressure has to force out somewhere and if it isn't the seal, then it is the bearing that can be damaged by losing its lube.

You can purchase parts and attachments online through ninjakitchen.com but you are also up for overseas postage that way, so chances are it will be cheaper to buy the Nutri Ninja Slim locally as a complete item - they are a great price for what you get - and a new one will automatically come with a warranty.

Measure it for diameter (inside and outside) and thickness. You need food grade O-ring. all over eBay. Cost a few dollars including delivery.
But right now, just borrow the gasket from the screw on lid, that you don't use.

How small should I cut ingredients (eg. apples, pears, bananas, oranges, carrots) before putting them in? Does it make any difference if I put in a whole apple, or half an apple, or should I cut it into small pieces?

no. it goes really thick and fibrous. you still need a juicer. i use the Nutra Slim for fruit juices and ice crushing.

Cup does not seal correctly. When I put only 200-300ml of water which has been warmed to 80c and protein shake. I do up tight and shake cup to check it will not leak before I place on unit. I then place on unit for approx 10 sec. The cup pressurises and leakes everywhere. Can you explain why as the cup size can take up to 400ml?

Hi Alison,
i experienced the same when i used warm water.
the problem is the warm water....
i think the best solution is to first blend the protein shake with some room temp. water
and then add warm water and stir with a spoon...
