Hi. I have just bought the OPAC29 model and I just wanted confirmation there is no need to add water? If it's optional and can be done let me know how please.
You don't need to add water, it's an AC and Dehumidifying machine, so if it's dehumidifying it will collect moisture from the air and you will have to empty the water from the back drainage plug..

I don't know how to empty the water out. Do I need to take it outside to do it? There is no way for me to tell how to drain it. Please help!
At the rear of the unit at the bottom there is a drain plug you unscrew, removing that will release water when you tip it backwards...
Where will the water go? Will this spill out everywhere? What are some tips please. Should I basically take it outside to do this?

You don't it's not a function this aircon performs, it only dehumidifi the rooms so there is release tap on the bottom to release water when the room had been dehumidified..it's an aircon with a dehumidifier option..

My Altise omega Oapc10 goes into standby mode quite quickly when its running and then the water full indicator is blinking, but no water could be drained from the machine. What else can I check?

Hi folks, I have the OAPC29 model which has been great thus far, however, the fan has stopped working. I have read the manual over and over, and tried everything. Any ideas or suggestions to reactivate the fan would be greatly appreciated.

Dismantle and see if the fans bearing is not clogged up, going further see the main board for any burnt capacitors or such.

Consultant you don’t need to empty the water from this u it. That seems incorrect with the comments above. Also the fan grate is only half of the unit the other half of the fan grate is solid why is this. I’m not very happy with this purchase from Good Guys
Dehumidifier function will need water to be emptied, you will get a notification and unit shuts off..fan grille is designed for that specific airflow iam guessing.

How do i take out Filters on the OAPC1O model ? plz
I purchased a Omega Altise OAPC29 model on 17th October 2022 from The Good Guys, now after I drain the water and clean filters the water level rises internal then drips from the side where filters are situated. As it is under warranty can I return it to place of purchase and exchange for a new unit (same model) please.

No, its broken. I had the exact same issue last week. Took it back to Harvey Norman, and they replaced it with a similar one (but different brand).
How long is the th e runni g from back of machine to window. I live in bed sitter and the only window or door is approx 4 to 5 metres from bed area.

I have purchased 2 air conditioners, the WF light on one in my room turns on and it beeps, so I drain it, (follow instructions), it turns back on but only continues to work for about an hour or so..sometimes a bit longer then does the same thing. Is there any reason for this or could it just be a fault in the air conditioner. The other one works fine.
