How do you remove the cage for cleaning?

Good afternoon Griggs O, if you remove the black plastic cover at the base of the cage, you will find a screw which needs to be undone so that the cage can be opened for cleaning, if you require further assistance please call our customer care desk on 1300 739 033. Thanks the team at Altise.

I bought a omega altise 46 cm high velocity floor fan (OHV46C) just a few months back from good guys auburn. Now I am not able to turn it on. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes I have to try again and again before it starts. Any help will be highly appreciated.

Something is definitely wrong ... probably a short somewhere. Check to see what the manuf says, or contact the Good Guys. Mine works a treat.
