Early days, but the Thermocook looks to be a really serious competitor to the Thermomix!!

published

Had a few days and so far so good, seems to be as good as a Thermomix...my mother was an early Thermomix adopter in the 1980/90's and swore by them, things have moved on considerably - The Thermocook appears to be a very serious contender and the build quality appears to be excellent so far.

Exactly what i wanted

published

Just recently purchased this and so far all is good. It is surprisingly light but feels strong and well made and is easy to assemble and take apart. My go-to with a thermocooker is risotto and the optimum made it perfectly. I couldn't work out one of the settings and the support provided over the phone was immediate and very useful. Thanks!

Not many inbuilt recipes

published

I bought this machine as it said it rivalled the tm5. It cooks well and is easy to use. Easy to clean and not too noisy.
However, I find it very lacking in inbuilt recipes. I didn't pay $$$ to input my own recipes. I have a supercook connected via wifi that has 1000s of inbuilt recipes and have gone back to using it.
I have been told there will be an update but I think Christmas will happen first, not sure which year either. I am so disappointed.

Great appliance!

published

I have enjoyed my thermocook and so have my kids! It has been so easy to use when you get the hang of it. This appliance is super use when you can be bothered the step by step instructions are easy to follow. It falls short with the limited recipes but you can adapt them from other thermomix recipes. The other downfall is the lack of handle when the bowl is hot it is hard to pour from, you cannot pour and scrape at the same time. Overall great for the price in comparison to other brands.

Great addition to the kitchen

published

Had my Thermocook Pro M 2.0 for 2 months now and so far I love it, I've made puddings, soups, jam, mixed dough for bread, crackers, muffins and it has performed well, and saved me some time in the process, it's especially good that you can throw all the ingredients in, set and go on with something else, struggled with it not having a handle to start with, but you get use to it.

Great Machine!

published

I had seen a thermometer demo, and decided to never get one as it was way overpriced in my view. Bring on TC Pro M 2.
Best ever value for money at 1/3 of the price.
I love making raw root salad. So quick and easy. Porridge and white sauce turn out great.
For meat dishes chop the meat a little bigger and use appropriate cuts - eg. Chicken thighs instead of breasts for butter chicken. They hold shape better.
I love the set and forget idea.

Wish I got one sooner!

published

I love my ThermoCook! I wish I got one sooner. I make everything from rice to stews, soups, dressings and desserts in it. I love that you can set a time for cooking and then it stops on its own, so I can set it to make a meal while I get the kids from school and it’s ready for us when we get home! So easy.

Best thing

So happy with my Thermocook. I use it daily and works perfectly. Because that, I just ordered a Magicook Pro from Froothie, and I’m planing to order other small appliances. I’m into molecular gastronomy and a Thermocook is a huge helper. Highly recommended
