Terrible Customer Service Matched Only By Its Poor Products! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
First time using this company and we purchased a glass pendant from them. When it arrived cheap is not the word! Glass with bubbles blown through it, plastic pendant parts. It would of lasted 5 minutes after use.

hy I wanted to return the item, this is despite me stating this on the email already, so I explained again and asked if they could let me know how to proceed. That was three emails ago and still no reply! I have now had to refer the matter to my credit card company, who are now going to deal with it. NEVER, NEVER AGAIN! Free Shipping and Great Service
These guys are my favourite lighting shop, they focus on the latest in LEDs, which is nice since that's where all the new lighting is going, unlike Bunnings or other places where you have to dig through tons of outdated globes to find the good stuff. We purchased all the downlights for our business here, great volume discounts made for lots of savings. I had a bunch of questions and David was really helpful. I like that they ship for free in Australia, and that they are an Australian company too.

Terrible
The Price on their website is not up to date! I bought a floor lamp on sale. Then they advised me it is not on sale any more and should buy with higher price! Even though, I ordered with sale price and paid my order!

Replacement of floor lamp that arrived broken - Justin Floor light.
New Floor Lamp - Justin Brilliant floor lamp and Justin table lamp bought for lounge rooom. Ozlighting sorted out the problem quickly with their supplier, Brilliant Lighting - who then arranged to send me out a new replacement floor lamp - new one arrived - box not damaged and light all in tact - and then between ozlighing and brilliant lighting arranged to pick up the broken lamp - and take it back - no problem . very happy with the after sales support.
Lamp arrived - box damaged and lamp inside broken and missing some screws that hold it together.

Excellent service, good value
We bought 2 Mercator ceiling fans with remote controls 2 years ago.
They were very reasonably priced (2 from Oz lighting cost the same as 1 of the equivalent options from a retail store).
18 months later, the one fan was inoperable. I called Oz Lighting up, and within minutes, I was informed that I should contact Mercator regarding warranty replacement. My old invoice was tracked and emailed to me as a courtesy.
I called Mercator up, and a replacement remote control and remote receiver was sent out without any argument or question. Excellent service all round.
Reasonably priced, looks good, good quality,
The one receiver box went, but that was replaced immediately by Mercator.

Great Customer Service
I recently purchased to 2 pendant lights (both the same light), they arrived with in a week (to Perth). Beautiful lights, unfortunately they were both damaged slightly, I also realised one of them is too large for the room I was planning for it to go in.
I contacted Oz Lighting and they have organised a replacement for 1 and are crediting me for the other. They are having them collected from me (at no charge). Great service. Great Range.
I purchased ceiling fans from Ozlighting and found the experience to be fantastic. The one Mercator fan had a factory fault and when I contacted Ozlighting, they sorted it out immediately and organised for a new fan to be delivered within the week. Great work OzLighting. will be definitely be ordering some more products...

LED downlighting
I recently bought over $1200 worth of LED downlighs from OZ Lighting to replace my existing upstairs halogens.
Price, service, quality was impeccable and I will definately buy through them again when I replace my downstairs lights. With their bulk discount, the lights were cheaper than buying instore.
Goods were ordered and they arrived promptly!

Great products & fantastic service
I purchased around $500 of product for outdoor lighting when building our new house. Goods were ordered and delivered quickly as hoped, but most importantly, their ervice was impecabble and the quality of product was world class. Worst Service Online Store
I placed a order with ozlighting.com.au on December 9th. After ten days it had not arrived ($798.00 of lights).
I tried ringing their 1300 phone number and over a whole day could never ever get to speak to anyone. The voice message is all our customer service representatives are busy- really all day?
I followed up with a email and finally got a response on the 20th Dec advising me in fact the lights I ordered are not in stock and likely not available until end of January

Terrible Packaging, Quality and Service
We purchase two sets of Oriel Vana Lights for $385 and when one arrived the cheap plastic diffuser bit was damaged. We contacted that company and it was the same story that we can't return or replace them and that we should buy another one. Overpriced could have bought something from Bunnings for $30 and it got customer service. Ordered another different overpriced light and it also did not work. Also the delivery was like 2 weeks late and I had to follow up.

Pathetic solar lights for the garden.
the lights didn't work we exchanged the rechargeable batteries. The most pathetic light. Paid $70 each set for a faint light. when I emailed the problem I was told I had opened them and so they couldn't be exchanged. How else are you to know if they are ok. I purchased these lights as a Christmas gift. What a waste of 140 dollars. never again. thanks for nothing Oz Lighting.

r light was not being charged properly and that the light wasn't very bright. Her first contact with us was on 10/01/2013 which is one day after this review was written. As per standard warranty procedure, she was offered a replacement fitting which she rejected. We offered her a full refund or an exchange for something else and she chose a different light. The most unreliable service ever.
I ordered a 2m LED strip light for a Kitchen renovation, and the whole process quickly descended into a disaster. The goods were ordered on a Monday with the promise of deliver by Friday at the very latest for installation by an electrician who was already booked. I checked back with Ozlighting on the Thursday to make sure everything was tracking to plan, and I was assured that goods would be delivered on the Friday. Friday comes around, Electrician shows up, but no goods. I again contact Ozlighting who then after checking with the supplier...Read more
informs me that the goods have not even been sent, but don't worry its now on an overnight air express, it will be there on Monday. Stupidly, I believed them and I re-booked the electrician for Monday. Monday comes around, electrician turns up, and again no goods are delivered. I contact the courier service to check where the delivery is and the goods have still not even being collected from the supplier. I contact Ozlighting who are still trying to understand what is going on. In short I would never use Ozlighting again, they are unreliable and clearly have a very poor working relationship with there suppliers. It is unforgivable to run an online store and not be able to organise delivery. Be Warned!
