Excellent reliable removalist company
I used Palmers when I had to move out my home for seven months while my insurance company rebuilt my kitchen and layed a new hardwood floor. My move included the packing up of my furniture and household items from my kitchen, dining and lounge. The two young guys were lovely and very friendly, they put all my furniture exactly where I wanted it and stacked all my cartons how I requested. All my cartons were individually labeled with a carton number and which room they were packed from very organised. Professional, friendly and efficient
My partner and I moved from our residence to an apartment recently whilst we renovate. I also work from home so essentially my business with numerous files etc also had to be moved. The access was very difficult on both ends requiring furniture to go over the balcony at one end and requiring a ferry vehicle due to carpark height restrictions at the apartment end. ult. Palmers packed all our belongings the day before the move and were quick, courteous and humorous. This made an experience I was dreading and feeling anxious about not so bad after all. They did a good job of packing and no breakage. Similarly the actual move went surprisingly smoothly - it was such a relief. Again with good humour and a can do attitude. We will definitely use them for our move back home in 6 months.

Very professional company
We recently moved a 3 bedroom house from Sydney to France. We spoke to several moving companies about our move and Palmers was by far the most
professional. From the lady on the phone who offered to send someone out to give a quote, to their national sales manager who came out and explained the entire process and all the customs forms. The crew on the day worked really hard, nothing was a problem and they packed and loaded a 20 foot container 1 day. When my shipment arrived in France, the delivery crew was excellent, they unwrapped all the furniture and I was pleased to see not one of my items was damaged. Overall Palmers did a fantastic job and I would definitely use them again.

Efficient, professional and pleasant to deal with
My husband and I moved from Melbourne back to Ireland. Kieran O'Hara, Palmers General Manager came to our house and assessed everything and from the get go, he and his company were a pleasure to deal with. Far from ideal - caution.
Palmers were engaged by my insurance company to pack, move and unpack my house, following a significant weather event. There are two sides to this company, the packing team did a terrible job, boxes were not labelled correctly and their inventory was next to useless. We have spent weeks trying to find things they didn’t even write a consistent room name on boxes. goods were stuffed into boxes crushing everything, all our outdoor furniture was stained and damaged after being dragged across the ground, boxes were crushed, equipment broken and they simply left whatever they couldn’t fit behind, leaving me to sort this out. When they drove off, they took out a large tree branch with their truck and just left it on the road for the council to fix. On the other end, the staff who delivered were highly professional, courteous and friendly. They were meant to have more staff to assist with the delivery and unpacking (who didn’t show up) but they did the best they could, albeit they did not unpack as agreed. They took note of some of the damage and advised us to take note of any further damage as we unpacked, and the company would sort it out. They were equally surprised with the amount of damage and the poor labelling of boxes, this made their job equally difficult. I have subsequently met with their GM, [name removed], and it’s clear where this culture stems. [name removed] did admit they did not allow enough time to pack (he blamed the insurance company for ‘pressuring him’), thus it was not packed as they normally would. Unfortunately, whilst [name removed] saw all the damage and said it would be sorted out, he has failed to make good on any of the damage, saying he has written a report and sent it elsewhere then avoiding communication, and advising I would need to communicate through his legal team. I have since obtained this report where he has declined to make good on the vast majority as they are ‘still in working order’ despite being stained, scratched and smashed. For example, the supporting base that holds water to a basketball ring was smashed, however as the ring itself is serviceable, Palmers have only offered partial compensation the fact that it could fall on my kids when unsupported is deemed irrelevant. [name removed] is also stipulating the condition report, which I never saw nor signed, says there was pre-existing damage. This is completely false. Subsequent to this, a supposed Palmers legal representative made contact with me and advised they had been sent a letter ‘regarding my small claim’ and seemingly tried to provide advice to me. This seemed an attempt to make me find this process too difficult and walk away, I suggested they are better off providing advice to their own client. Lost my stuff now refuse to talk to me won’t refund me
This company received my goods that were sent from London after I moved back, they charged me over $350 in fees then couldn’t deliver my belongings from two suburbs over to Canterbury, instead they have said my belonging ended up in south Australia. That’s the last they can update me it has been now 12 months and they will not resolve this.

Rude, unprofessional and no communication.
Palmers refused to deliver my goods because of a process issue they had with payment with the corresponding shipping agent when we moved from Hong Kong to Australia (we made payment over 2 months ago).
I had to contact repeatedly and follow up every time. I received no proactive communication and they then passed on the task of me following up their contractual agreement with the corresponding shipping agent.

Slow Service And Item Damaged Upon Arrival; Avoid.
After having used Palmers service to relocate my toolbox from Australia to Germany, I am extremely dissatisfied with two major aspects of the service offered. First and foremost, the actual delivery time well exceeded the ETA originally given as the partner company kept delaying delivery as a cost saving exercise. Secondly, after a tiresome effort of actually getting my item delivered it turned up with extensive damage to which I was then told I would need to produce a shopping list worth of documents (even the original purchase receipt!!) to claim insurance on the damage caused from their poor excuse of packing during transit. It had clearly been rubbing on the walls of the container the entire trip, not great to see large gouges on a brand new (not to mention, expensive) toolbox, at least they didn't charge me extra for the redecorating I guess.... I would exercise caution prior to signing on the dotted line. The only thing that adds to the stress of moving is having to fight the people who are supposed to make the process easier for you. Very professional service, customs cleared and delivered on time with no breakage or damage.
Palmers Relocations handled the import and final delivery for our personal belongings for a three bedroom home which were shipped by container from the United Kingdom. James Palmer liaised with us through out the customs clearance process and handled the paperwork for us. He returned our calls and emails promptly. On the day of delivery his crew shipped all of the contents into our new home and we were pleased to see that there was no damage or breakage to any of our belongings. They unpacked the big items like sofas, cabinets and armchairs and also removed all the considerable packaging. I would happily recommend Palmers Relocations as reliable, well priced and thoroughly professional.

We have moved from Melbourne to New Zealand.
A team of 4 people arrived early and were very friendly, but very professional.
Everything in the house was packed up with care and so very quick.
We would recommend this company to anyone moving home.

I had a double move. My move was to a city apartment and the other load was a part container load to rural WA.
The pick up crew arrived promptly as promised and set about with gusto to do a part pack of breakables and paintings and moving furniture and other items. The guys were efficient and very thorough with their work. The process was seamless and finished in good time. TERRIBLE SERVICE 2022!
Told me that my stuff will arrive in 6-8 weeks from Miami to Sydney. Sent my stuff 2nd Sept 2018 and after 5 months of excuses and lies they delivered my stuff on 30 January 2022. My house empty with 2 little kids, wife and grandparents. Something that u really don't want to experience. DON'T USE THEM!!!!!!!!!!
