Disappointing
I would not have got this model if I knew I couldn’t get Stan on it. Also it keeps locking up and I have to turn it off at the power this happens at least twice a week. My other Panasonic tv is great that’s why I bought another one.

Wouldn’t recommend - constantly faulty
I purchased this TV in October 2022. It constantly freezes when I’m trying to navigate through Netflix and I have to switch it off at the wall and wait for it to reset. I wouldn’t expect a new tv to do this. I’ve checked my internet speed and there is nothing wrong with it. Seems this is a common fault with this tv. Would recommend purchasing another TV

Dissapointed
Bought this to replace my old LG which gave up after only 4 years, so obviously not happy with LG at that point. I regret that decision. The software on this panasonic is so bad. Lagging, freezing - which needed to unplug the tv as the remote would not work anymore (the freezing got better since we got NBN I have to admit). Randomly switches to Prime in the middle of a Netflix movie. And I just found out there is no Stan, after signing up. At least it's a free month, but still..

Hi Dan, sorry to hear about the problems with your TV. Have you updated the software to the latest version? This may assist with the unit freezing. Please contact our customer service team on 132600 if we can be of further assistance.
Yes, I have the latest software version 4.035. Not a lot of improvement. Seems something half baked. Jumping to Amazon when we're watching something else is the most annoying thing. I bet Amazon paid a lot of money for you to leave that bug in.

Knowing what I know now I would NOT buy a Panasonic on this TV's performance!
I purchased this TV in August 2022, and within 2 weeks it was playing up! Freezing, doing things by itself, turning off! A number of issues! Contacted Panasonic and was given a link and instructions on how to update software which eliminated 98% of the issues!
Although I STILL have to turn off all power at the powerpoint to reboot the TV semi regularly as sound and picture goes out of sync and sound echoes!
And some channels, primarily ABC loses transmission and pixelation with an info box saying antenna! Interestingly though 2 other TV's in th...Read more

Random auto switch to Amazon prime, Laggy Controls
bought this TV recently, just a fortnight back. starting experience was okay, though now have come to really dislike the laggy controls and a real big bug that makes TV switch over to Amazon prime (and sometimes Netflix) randomly from any other program all of sudden without any reason, no button pressed in remote or no perceivable cause.
Planning to return unless Panasonic can have this bug fixed.

Great value for money. Much better than expected
I bought the 55" version while on sale for an incredible $699 delivered from Sydney some 400 km away. I read a number of reviews which mentioned the sound was nothing to talk about but quite frankly it is perfectly fine. I do also have it set up to operate through a Yamaha soundbar but for normal viewing & listening, the built in speakers are fine. Certainly better than my old Sanyo 43" or Samsung 32" TVs. I have mounted in on a wall bracket rather than using the built in stands. It was an easy fit using the existing bracket.

as good out of the box and the remote easy to use. Was set up within a few minutes. Basically I got the Panasonic for the price of cheap unknown brand Chinese TV. Everything works as expected. Easy to set up. Obviously using a TV as a browser via a remote is never going to work but I have had a play with it mirroring my computer and I am surprised. Like most TVs, slightly awkward to access the ports when on the wall so best to pre-fit cables before hanging on a wall. A great bargain. disappointed
I have had this TV for a few days now. I bought it because we were happy with our previous Panasonic THL39EM5A. I think Panasonic has lost my trust as far as their quality goes and I doubt I will buy another one. I've not written a review like this but felt compelled to do so. I wish I read this site before buying the TV.
The comments on here generally reflect how I feel. The image is not as clear as the previous Panasonic I had or the TV I had in the 1980s. The main TV image is either foggy or when put on the only picture setting that el...Read more
iminates that "Dynamic" turns green trees into a wash of colour. Pixels were more prominent in appearing than the previous TV. I agree with another reviewer the extra apps shows were of no use unless I speak Indian or Russian. However, I was not concerned about the smart TV as I have a set top box that can do it all. I would have done away with all the "smartness" for a better picture and sound. The speakers are under the screen, not horrendous but not good either. I also agree with the other reviewer 'don't up-sell sound bars, make a better TV.' Anyway, I'm taking it back tomorrow after 3 days to get something better. BTW I did the update download and I wasn't impressed. Almost one star.Purchased in October 2021 at Harvey Norman for A$949.00.

Often too Green, laggy controls
Purchased 14/7/19 The Good Guys, replacing Full HD Panasonic 37inch. Picture presented too Green out of the box compared to old TV but as nature of new TV varied with 4K, UHD etc we experimented with the many Mode and other Settings before taking matter back to supplier and maker. Colours can present very well on a HD channel but then revert to too Green on change of channel or source. Images that have a high level of Green already appear to wash over with Green giving unnatural hair colours, sunsets etc. It took most of September to proceed th...Read more
rough emails and phone calls with supplier before they sent us to Panasonic and it took several more emails and phone calls before a technician visited. Technician tells us it is not something he can fix and a replacement TV would be the same. On a separate matter I confirm controls are laggy compared to old TV, at the speed of an old set top box which is disappointing for a current TV.Purchased in July 2021 at The Good Guys for A$795.00.

No Stan
It is not possible to get Stan on this TV, even though Stan list it on their list of compatible devices. I am very disappointed. I would not have bought it if I knew it didn't have this basic functionality. I will be returning this television - unless someone offers a fix. Stan tech support say they are working on it.

Background noise deafening Panasonic GX600 55"
We purchased a Panasonic TV based on reputation and ethical values. Whilst the picture quality is good the background noise is sometimes quite deafening to the point I'd rather not watch it!! A few examples wind blowing, water running, background music even the crowd cheering on the football!! If I had known this I would not have purchased it - our other 'not smart' Samsung was much better - smaller screen but no competing sounds. Would not recommend.

Have had this tv 2 weeks. Too many issues
1.Wireless receiver malfuction- won't work, can't connect to internet. No issue with isp according to panasonic
2.Screen freezes
3.Remote won't work to control tv, light flashes but nothing happens
4. Screen starts doing random things of its own accord without having pressed any commands
For a tv that's only 2 weeks old it's of extremely poor quality. For a tv that costs $1500 It's extremely disappointing.

Disappointed
We have had a couple of panasonic tv's over many years and have loved them. But this one has been disappointing. We only use our tv for watching programs and have foxtel, that's it for technology.
Picture good but sound terrible. Background noise overtaking dialogue, so annoying. After just having the tv 3 days rang where we purchased it from and they said to bring it in so they could test it. Good idea yeah, no. They set it up in store surrounded by all the other tv's and sound systems running and of course they couldn't find a problem. ...Read more

A sufficient Television (plus a few observations)
Some great points:
- TV stand can be adjusted to fit on smaller cabinets
- Neat unit
- Easy to use remote, very similar to our old Panasonic from 10 years ago
Some bad points:
- TV is often laggy or slow when opening menus, apps, or any extra boxes. This is very noticeable when you change channels - a laggy menu with appear at the top showing options.
- Normal picture is a bit dull and lifeless. We ended up placing it on “dynamic” and changing quite a few settings to make it look better.
- Sound is bad. Balance of audio is often out. Background music and sound effects can be deafening, while the dialogue is barely audible. We are lucky we have a sound bar with the TV, otherwise the TV would be going back!

d be called out as among the list of "Bad Points", as I simply assumed all smart TVs would include this. While it is my fault that I didn't read closely, I didn't think I would have to - it would be like scrutinising the review to check it came with a remote control (ie I assumed it would).
