Read more says not to use it too much on hard textures due to the blades wearing out. To attached the jar to the processor you need to twist the mini blade off the jug and twist down it onto the jar (little arrows give you direction), you may have to force this as its a tight fit due to the black rubber. Once this has been completed turn it upside down and twist,click on to processor. You should be able to turn blender on and process food. In my experience, Maybe the lid wasn't locked well with the bowl or the bowl wasn't locked with the main machine. You would need to double check or refit the parts. Hope it is working.

I use it to make 'meal' from my nuts. I have made my own almond meal and hazelnut meal etc. It is not quite as fine as store-bought stuff, but it churns through the nuts no problems for me.

We have just purchased the hr7761. Just wondering if there should have been any other booklet/instructions included. All we have is the user manual which gives good instructions however the actual attachments are only shown as pictures and we are having trouble identifying which is which. I also thought there would have been some recipes included. Any assistance is greatly appreciated. Lyn
