Hi there, I love my Philips HR7769 and use it almost every day for a variety of for preparation needs. Unfortunately I damaged the centre clear plastic lid you put on the blender and now have lost the seal for the blender. Have had to go back to my old sunbean which isn't nearly as good. In my experience, Maybe the lid wasn't locked well with the bowl or the bowl wasn't locked with the main machine. You would need to double check or refit the parts. Hope it is working.
