Nobody should be without one!

published

This is one of the best bits of Kitchen equipment we've ever owned!
Salmon fillets, fries, snacks, steaks, chicken breasts, sausage rolls, chicken schnitzels etc.
Can be a bit hard to clean, I use a Karcher Pressure washer to clean the basket.

Purchased in July 2021 at The Good Guys for $220.00.

Excellent air fyer

published

This air fryer is great for quick and healthy baking and frying. My daughter loves the crispiness. And we like it because the food doesn't come out soaked with oil. It's very easy to use. We got it as a house warming gift.
I put the basket and tray into dishwasher for washing. It takes up quite a lot of space but comes out clean.

Purchased in April 2021.

Essential part of my kitchen

published

I’ve had my airfryer for over six years, and I can’t live without it! Almost anything that can be cooked in an oven, can be cooked in the airfryer; but much faster and healthier. You can even freshen up bread rolls or do boiled eggs in it. I’ve found that I don’t use my ordinary oven at all now. Highly recommended!

Purchased in May 2021 for $175.00.

Use this product every day! It's amazing

published

We have used it to cook chips, pies, sausage rolls, pizzas, dim Sims, onion rings, sausages, chicken legs, melted cheese on toast, jalousie nuggets and many other things. It's great as you don't need any oil at all making it much healthier. I haven't tried a roast yet but I am keen to try one.

Purchased in January 2021 for $129.00.

One of the best kitchen gadgets

published

We’ve been using it almost every days. Ditched our oven, everything is airfried from chicken drumpsticks, fish fillets, spring rolls, corns, potatoes, just to name a few. Take much less time and energy to run and clean up. Must have in your kitchen. My friend went with another brand and she is not happy with it, Philips all the way!

Very convenient compared to using the oven

published

The Air Fryer is very convenient for frying frozen food. The only negative for me is cleaning it. Grease stuck at the bottom of the basket, between the rim and the metal mesh takes a while to clean.

If you get this new, be diligent in cleaning it. That will save you hours of cleaning for a few years.

Not so bad

published

Well, you don't have to be a gizmo whiz to use it. Pretty easy to handle it. The cooking basket is easy to slide out and lift, and the unit has a big dial timer and graded temperature control. I would say if you like Philips products, buy it then.

This product is awesome, can’t live without it. I use it for everything, from cooking just plain chips to roast chicken and even marinated chicken wings, which are so yummy, leave a bit of a mess but worth it for how good they taste. My partner love be cooking bbq ribs in it.

Very useful

published

The machine is very good to use, cooks fast, and doesnt need any oil, so itls healthy. Better for meat cooking bcos of its natural build in fat. It is though difficult to clean, need to use a hard brush to clean it effectively, usually needs soaking to make things easier

The healthy option

published

Very satisfied with my purchase and wouldn’t think of using oil to fry my food anymore. Sometimes I feel like chips but I always feel guilty eating it afterwards because of the oil. After purchasing the air fryer. I realised that little to no oil is used and the fries come out crispy as ever.

Great! Definitely worth the money!

published

Our family love the Phillips air fryer. It is so easy to use and so quick to cook up anything. We use it for chips and also nuggets and snacks for the kids. It makes no mess and is super quick. Plus the food tastes excellent. Definitely make sure to clean out after every use as there can be a build up of grease at the bottom which is harder to remove if it has been there too long. Other than that it is perfect, easily stores away in pantry ready to be used whenever

This unit is a great way to heat up food to eat healthily and reduce your fat intake. Especially good to crispen food. Amazing how much fat it gets out of reheating kfc. So good we have now bought one for our holiday house. We now even make our home made fries

A fantastic Air Fryer which made my Oil Fryer Obsolete!

published

I converted from unhealthy to healthy eater just because of this Fryer. My oil consumption went super low!
I literally fry everything in this starting from French Fries, Chicken Nuggets and Tenders, Samosas. I bake my cake even make Lasagna. No need of supervision required. Set the time and do other works. It makes my life much easier.
Fantastic piece of equipment and I advise strongly for all the women to own one!

a little hard to clean but two washes thru the dishwasher usually surfice.
is way better than the tefal option.
excellent way to get crispy food without having to deep fry everything.
Buy when on special, dont bother with the digital models. the more buttons the more to go wrong. simple twist timer works excellently

Perfect for chips

published

I love this product. It is perfect for chips. And can be used instead of oven. Quick to heat up and cooks quicker than oven. and easy to wash. Only negative is the tray is too small. Otherwise, perfect. It catches all the grease that drips onto the tray. A healthy way to eat, compared to deep frying.

After time harder to clean, but can’t complain! Love it!

published

Use the Air fryer every other day for quick lunches and dinners to go, always happy with the results I get in the air fryer, would highly recommend for a healthy and quick alternative to frying!! As age go’s on like most things the excess oils that leak out of the foods does build up but like most things with TLC doesn’t become an issue.

Works great but difficult to clean!

published

The air fryer works great and you'll get the benefit of losing a lot of the fat/greases from foods. The only down side is that if you use it on a regular basis it gets dirty quite easily and is difficult to clean the main body of the air fryer.

Frying without fat. A unbelievable joke came true

published

Just like everyone, I love fry food. However, I am scared of mess and hot oil. The secret ingredient of all frying dish is the right temperature oil, the nice coat of food and the time that food got fried. Fortunately, I could control the temperature and time with this airfryer from Philips whilst being able to forget about the oil. All food from frozen isles in the supermarket is now too easy to handle, from chips to spring rolls.

Great product easy to use

published

Very simple to set up, instructions clear, and easy to use (a matter of twisting two knobs). Can chuck anything in, and it comes out nice and crispy. Many guides on YouTube to help experiment too.

I would recommend putting foil at the bottom to make it easier to clean.

Viva Collection Air Fryer HD9225/50

Hello I have bought an accessory - baking dish. It says it is for the Viva collection although I mixed my numbers up and the accessary said it is for HD9925 not HS 9225 which is mine. Can I still use it?
2nd question - is there an accessory for the HD 9225 model which is a PHILIPS-HD9910/20 - an airfryer Grill Pan and will it fit my model? Nikki at [email protected]

Hey Sam,

Thanks for your questions. We'll be happy to help you out! The baking accessory should be compatible with your HD9225 Airfryer. So yes, you can still use it.

Two answer your second question, we indeed have an grill pan accessory (HD9910) for the Airfryer and that will definitely fit in your model! If you have additional questions, please contact us at 1300 363 391.
