Excellent Extra Heavy Duty Off Road Camper Trailer

    published

An excellent heavy duty off road camper trailer for the price. Have taken it through Kakadu, Bungle Bungle, Kimberley - Gibb River Road, Mitchell Plateau and the Pilbra with-out any problems. Driven in deep water, over rough corrugated roads and very rugged country and didn't skip a beat! Water proof and dust proof - even in bull dust! It takes only a couple of minutes to set up and you can leave the bed made up when folding down. Kitchen is easy to use and gullwings large and easily accessible.
Extra Heavy Duty Off Road capabilities and easiness of set up!
Electric water tap in kitchen needed replacing - problem was fixed satisfactory.

If it rains when it is set up, is it waterproof?

    Oh yes.
It needs preparing with several wet/dry cycles for the canvas to expand into the stitch holes and then it's perfectly reliable.

Yes,ours was waterproof from the start. As with any canvas, do not stretch the canvas over the bars unduly when erected, to reduce the load on the stitching and reduce the chance of needle holes expanding. Also, slacken the canvas if rain expected, as wetness will cause the canvas to tighten over the bars.
