I have heard from 2GB radio re Proud Furniture. I wanted a recliner for husband after hip operation. As walking into store and starting looking I was approached by a guy called MICHAEL. Who then showed me what I wanted, then all fabrics . I choose a colour, to be advised it would be suitable.
Paid deposit, Michael advise chair ready, paid full. Looks unreal. MICHAEL when tops, delivered when said.

There was no high pressure salesmanship in the Crows Nest store and I was not rushed when I requested alterations to the seat depth and firmness. The furniture arrived when promised and it looked perfect. However I changed my mind and decided I wanted a firmer cushion for one of the seats. This change was made for me in a pleasant and timely transaction and I'm very happy with the result. I can thoroughly recommend Proud Furniture Crows Nest for their excellent products and their friendly respectful customer service.

Just got my delivery of my new "L" shaped lounge with matching cushions and ottoman, could not be happier with it, comfortable, and looks great, Rusell the salesman was so helpful when I was trying to decide colour etc. great service, would definately buy from them again

I will never ever recommend this company again nor buy from it. Was one of the unlucky ones who had order placed with the Campbelltown branch earlier this year. Lounge uncomfortable, the other 1/2 finished, from now on it's Harvey Norman or the like for me.

Bought a lounge suite, still under warranty. Contacted Prouds was sent a claim form, which was completed and returned. No response. Badly upholstered, need to have repairs made to stop sagging, and no support. Very nice when you make purchase, 10 year Warranty promised and not honoured. Very disappointing, will never buy from this company again.

Proud took our ounge to fix squeak on return it was sagging.refused to fix made us sign not to claim again before returning our cushions 10 year warranty useless can now see hession base hanging down under sofa

I recently purchased a new 2 seater and 2xsingle seater leather lounge from proud and could not be happier. Great sales staff and great product. So impressed that my elderly parents also purchased furniture from proud and were treated with great respect from sales staff member [name removed] and are now " proud" owners of profundity furniture . They really know how to look after their customers 10/10

lounge is made of cheap wood, warped and snapped in the weather. Contacted customer service but was one week out of warranty. Very rude woman did not care and just kept stating the company policy. Was not worth the cost for one years worth of use. Not work repairing since the mechanisms are making grinding noises and constantly get stuck.

I have only the 4 seater for 2 years and the 2 middle recliners hardly used have broken. Prouds will not honour as 1 year warranty, just proves back workmanship and will never by again. Too bad they won't honour especially when both are broken. What a joke and will never recommend.

Recliner puller broke

I've had my corner lounge now for a few years. I find it the most comfortable lounge in the world. It has held up great under my families 'growing pains'. My experience was seemless and I have recommended Proud time and time again. I was quoted 4-6 weeks and it ended up a few days late, but so what - if that was my only issue I'm very happy.
Realistic pricing - try pricing a lounge at Domain... I advise people to check the warranty... Prouds includes foam and suspension!!
A tad firm, but I was told it would soften... and it did after a week or so.

Thought I would do the right thing and support a company that promotes Australian made.Ordered a Senator Lift Chair (almost $2000) for my elderly mother.8 weeks later still no contact that chair is available for collection.A delivery cost of $80-00 is quoted on order/receipt.
I had to contact them only to be advised that there was a delay as they were moving there manfacturing to larger premises. A courtsey call would have been nice. Original lead time estimate by them was 2 -5 weeks.I guess they didn't advise there stores about the move.I hope the chair is worth the wait.

Poor communication.

My Wife and I struggled to find a reclining suite that was suitable for both of us as I am quite tall 6'2" and she is 5'2". When we visited the Seven Hills showroom the salesman that was in the store was very helpful and informative and he showed us this design had an adjustable back so that we both could have the correct support we needed. We were quoted 6 weeks for delivery but the lounge was ready in 4 weeks which we were really happy about. The delivery guys although were expensive were on time polite and helped set the lounge up. 5 stars and 2 thumbs up!!!
Big range of leather's and fabric's to pick from, Australian made, good guarentee. Staff that actually knew what they were talking about.
$70 delivery fee was a bit expensive
