Does the Metro fits in a Mercedes A180?
1 answer
RedsbabyRedsbaby
Hi Monique, the METRO has a lovely compact fold and will fit into most smaller cars on the market. We have tested in a Fiat 500 as well as a Suzuki Swift boot and both fit very nicely. I have included the folded specs below for you so you can measure-up if needed.

we have a metro and the wheels squeak how do we lubericate them?
2 answers
I havent faced that problem yet.but applying oil should help like you do with creaky hinges.
RedsbabyRedsbaby
Hi Angie,
As part of regular maintenance of the prams, we recommend using silicone spray on all of the moving parts of the pram roughly every 3 months. The wheels can collect dust and sand along the way and the silicone will help dislodge this and help them to run smoothly. If you have any questions, please be in touch with customer care on (02) 82878418.

Does anyone have the Metro & a Yaris hatchback? Does the pram fit in the boot? I saw the YouTube clips for 'does it fit' but there's no Yaris. TIA :)
3 answers
Yes. I have a Yaris hatch and my Metro fits easily (on its side). I sometimes pop off a wheel for better vision but the boot still closes with both wheels on.
Hi Stella, thank you sooo much!!!
RedsbabyRedsbaby
Thank you Ciara for your feedback - we hadn't tested a Yaris as yet :)

Hi - what happens at the Demo days? I am interested in the next one on february 10th 2018. Will the metro pram (and accessories)be available for purchase at the demo day? Thanks
1 answer
RedsbabyRedsbaby
Hi Lara,
We don't physically sell the prams and accessories at the demo days, we have the capability to take orders on the day and we do offer a Gift With Purchase if you purchase on the day. The demo days give you a great opportunity to see the prams in person, give them a test drive and also ask the team any questions you may have. The team are all parents and owners of the prams themselves.

I'm looking at preordering the new metro2 and everything about it looks great apart from the couple of reviews I've read that say the seat is quite low. I had a bugaboo with my previous children and I could use the pram at the table at cafes which was handy. I've looked up measurements but can't find this. It's the only thing holding me back from ordering, any help?
2 answers
I own the current Metro model and the seat is 45cm from the ground.
RedsbabyRedsbaby
Hi Amelia,
Thank you for your message. The METRO seat sits at about 46-7cm from the ground to where the baby's bottom sits. They provide a great height and tall and petite parents have give great feedback on this height. I hope this helps :)

Hi, I am quite active and would like to do some gentle walking with the baby once it is born, Is this pram appropriate?
3 answers
Hi there! Yes, I go for walks with my bub in my pram and he falls asleep almost every time. It is smooth to walk with and feels strong and durable. The pram is definitely appropriate for taking bub out for a nice walk! Enjoy x
It is very smooth for walks and feels strong at the same time! I didn't have our pram from my son's birth, it's great to see Fishers comment! I got their pram liner too, very nicely made compared the one I bought from other shop. My son is very comfortable in there.
RedsbabyRedsbaby
Hi There,
The METRO has been designed to use on all terrain. going for walks over gravel, grass being out and about (sidewalks). Our prams (METRO and JIVE) both come with four-wheel suspension, which are based on an internal spring system (within the front wheel housing and the rear wheel axle).
Other features include:
Front wheel locks: stability on uneven terrain and long distances
Four wheel suspension: easy push and a smoother ride
Four wheel design: optimum weight distribution, providing more stability on curbs and uneven surfaces

Was it easy to find a capsule that is compatible with the Metro and was it easy to use with the adapters provided? Thanks

Leisaasked
I am not a fan of bassinets in general but I'm really loving the reviews of the RB Metro for our newborn bub (Due Jan. 2018). Do you really have to buy the bassinet for the Metro or can the standard seat lay down flat enough for a newborn?
Thanks in advance!
1 answer
RedsbabyRedsbaby
Hi Leisa,
Thank you for your question. The JIVE and METRO comes with a separate, freestanding bassinet included to provide a safe and comfortable environment for your newborn to lie in the fully-flat position while their spine and neck muscles are developing. We recommend use of the bassinet during the first few months as this is the best position for newborns to be in. The seat does recline to a fully flat position but the baby would still be in a seated position. We recommend that the seat is used once baby is 6 months /9kg or starts showing developmental signs that they are ready (lifting head, gaining head and neck control and fussing when placed in the bassinet).
I hope this helps :)

Hi,
Does anyone know if there is a universal food tray that can attach onto the Redsbaby Metro pram? Didn't seem to see one on their accessories page.

RedsbabyRedsbaby
Hi Renee,
Thank you for your message. At this stage we don't have a snack tray in the range but I will certainly pass your interest onto our design team. You could try one of the larger baby retailers for a universal snack tray :)

Hi I am just wondering had anyone tried to use the universal snack tray on metro2 pram and does it seems to work? Thanks

jordanaasked
how would you describe the size of the bassinet, large or small? I prefer prams with larger bassinets (both in width and length) as I like to keep baby in for as long as possible.
1 answer
I would say it's large. It's quite long and wide enough for a baby up to 5/6 months depending on the size of your baby.
N&Dasked
I'm really keen on the Metro however I have seen someone mention it not a suitable size for a 2 year old. Anyone using the Metro for a 2 year old and up?
1 answer
RedsbabyRedsbaby
Hi N&D, Thanks for your question. Weight is the basis for determining whether our products are suitable for a child, rather than the child’s age, as weight varies from child to child. The METRO is independently tested and certified to carry one child up to 20kgs (44.0 lbs).
Hope this helps! Kim - RB Team xx

Hi all, im a short soon to be mum (5'1) and was wondering if the redsbaby metro would be well suited or is it a tall stroller? I dont live anywhere close to upcoming demos!

I am 5"2, the height is perfect. My hubby is 6 foot and with the handle extended he can steer the pram pretty easy as well. Highly recommended pram! Ez to fold and carry.
KiEccoasked
How well does this pram travel on grass? eg. At the park etc or uneven surfaces?
2 answers
it's not super on gravel and uneven surfaces. it is not an 'all-terrain' pram. i've found it can be a bit bumpy and get stuck sometimes. that is the one downside in my opinion. otherwise a great pram and i would buy again.
It's not great on uneven surfaces and the ride looks bumpy. Is good on hard packed, fairly even dirt paths, roads.
