Just through a standard PowerPoint connection on the wall. Just make sure you are using a 12v socket. All home power points are 240v but in caravans you can have both 240 when connected to power mains or 12 when running off solar or battery.
You change from 240 to 12v with the screw on the handle of the dryer. It's really is designed for caravans and travel. I love my one.
Can this plug into a lighter socket?
Never tried that we are only using standard power socket in the wall.
