Excellence product !! Love Roborock
I was not ready for a robot vaccum/mop as I did not know how amazing this was, my husband convinced me to go for it and after using it for 3 months, I’m sold, mops and cleans beautifully, I was apprehensive about ruining it on account of my hair fall, but it seems to clean up fallen hair as well, our floors are so clean and I currently use it twice a week (one day for vaccum, one day for mopping ) I personally cannot recommend Roborock s8 pro ultra enough

It won over my wife
My wife didn’t want one but after only three weeks she is a convert. Last week she stood surveying the house and declared “these floors have never been so clean!”
It’s noisy when emptying and it insists on cleaning its mop before starting, even when sent to do a carpet only room. Overall, it is great!

High priced junk
I bought this robo rock S8 ultra pro 8 from Godfrey's as the sales man told me far better than the omni debot well it doesn't live up too the expectations it's cleaning capabilities is far from good it doesn't clean the timber floor at all I have to go over with a hand mop so don't waste your money.

This is practically the best Robot ever built—so far. Cleaning and vacuuming has made our work much easier around the house. Just start the robot and it will map out the whole floor, clean it and go back to the dock where it it empties the bin and clean the mop. Isn’t that amazing? All you need to do is empty the dirty water tank and fill up the clean water tank. Controlling the robot from the App on the phone is what I like the most. Good product. Horrendous customer service .
Really good product. Cleans well and means I don't need to.
However, I'm dreading the day I experience an issue with the unit. Roborock were offering a free drying module via redemption which enticed me to purchase. Submitted claim, never heard back. Emailed them after 2 months and they confirmed it's in the post, eta 10 business days. Another 2 months later, still no drying module and no response to my email.
Shame. Good product let down by their support team.

Two grand+ for a vacuum? <cough-splutter>. Yeah well, as the once great god 'Electrolux' once said "laziness has it's price people". Firstly, let me say that this is an excellent robo-vac. I'm sure if you're reading this review, you've already watched the countless Youtube videos that go through the pro's and con's. I was on the fence in getting this particular version for a while because the Dreame L10s and Roborock's other main contender - QRevo all offered similar features & performance at a better price. So rather than waiting for an L20 or and S9 Premium Ultra-SuperDuper, I eventually chose the S8 Pro Ultra, well, mainly because I felt like making the other vacuums in the house feel jealous and inferior (yes, I'm talking about you Dyson! - not so smug hanging on your fancy wall mount now are you). To be honest, I thought that the associated software would be the thing that sets this gizmo apart from some of the cheaper options. Although I didn't pay RRP, I still feel the overall price of this doesn't quite match expectations. The app is not as intuitive or feature rich as I had hoped and sharing custody of Mr. Roborock with another member of the household also had its quirks. Although the initial mapping works quite well, it should be easier to set or view the parameters for each room (e.g. You should also be able to easily set the floor type of a room, but that's another convoluted action). The divide function is good, but you also can't just delete a room or an area that has been isolated after a division (e.g. over-scan on areas outside of a window or a room that's inaccessible due to a ledge). My new friend here still seems to think there's an area beyond our bedroom window he could possibly do some cleaning in. Little does he know it's actually called a garden, and going there would undoubtedly end in his demise. I'm not sure yet how I'm going to break the bad news to him. Schedules also don't seem to come across when sharing access on another phone and nor do the map room names. I know, I know .. I'm not angry - I'm just disappointed. Anyway, performance wise, all is good and you can quickly set up several routines to suit your desired degree of laziness. The unit and base are all great quality so I don't have concerns about longevity at this stage. Water containers are large enough to cater for a few runs. Another positive seems to be that it handles dog/pet hair without complaint. We have a Labrador and they shed hair as a professional duty. I was initially concerned the vac or the station would fill up every day, but it's surprisingly efficient at tucking away the waste. It will easily take several weeks to fill and bags can be found relatively cheaply online. It's also a lot quieter than I expected, although I think it could still be better (i.e. by switching off vacuum when transiting to a room or a specific area). Would I recommend it to others? - Sure, why not, spend your money and see what I care. Best thing I have ever bought!
I love this Robot vacuum! With a crook back and an inside dog and cat, my floors were looking a little neglected. Investing in the Roborock S8 is proving to be worth it, my floors are looking cleaner than ever. The convenience programming this vacuum from my phone and having automated schedules means this is one chore that is done before I get up. Finally, the animals are happier as this robot senses and avoids them unlike the old robovac which would head straight for them.

Best robotoc vac and mop I have ever owned. It is by far th easiest machine to use and maintain. The app works very well and both the vac and mop functions are extremely effective.

Very very good but...
Very easy to maintain. Does a fantastic vacuum job. Mop struggles a little with some things. The gadget itself is great, 5 stars. The app has a few issues which be let down the overall experience. If your house has angles you will have annoying problems. Mapping had serious issues not recognising boundaries at floor length windows. They were only preventable by setting up barriers and remapping. I still can't define the house's separate rooms and have to draw zones every time I want to clean parts of the house.

My New Best Friend.
I have had the Roborock S8 Pro Ultra now for three months and love it...the initial setup was a tad problematic as for setup you have to be within a few meters of the wifi router, once set up you can place the home garage anywhere in the house....this information was no where in the instruction booklet or box, we had to actually ring the 1800 no and they advised us of the problem.
This device has changed my life for the better, our two story house has all hardwood timber floors with a couple of scatter rugs and the floors and rugs look amazing since using the Roborock every 2nd day....I have two friends who purchased one each on the same day as me and they also love it.
Think again before buying this product
The main problem with this product seems to be the room divide software. It is difficult to use, the online instructions are so tiny as to be unreadable. It wouldn't be hard to fix it by getting a better software design, but it doesn't seem to be there. It works well once you get it going, but that takes a lot of work.
