Upon check in they will usually oblige and let u seat together. All depends how busy the flight will be for the sector. Good luck!

If I take alcohol on board can I drink it on board? And will ant of it be confiscated in a stopover in Brunei - I'm going to London.
Also, How much alcohol can be taken in check-in luggage please?

Firstly, u cannot get through the gates before boarding. Your bags are checked by border control and if u succeed then air crew could confiscate your alcohol i guess it's a mark of respect.

There are, on both my flights I had a USB port.

We had a USB port but when my husband tried to power his ipad it didn't work. He tried all 3 ports on the 3 seats next to him. He said that it could have been his connecting cable.

I really do not know the answer but I presume they could be classed as are a dangerous weapon if used incorrectly. Royal Brunei have so many passenger and on board luggage checks that I would say no.

Hi all! I am looking into booking with Royal Brunei flying Melbourne to London and there is a 1hr 30 minute stop over to change to another plane I think? Has anyone else had experience with this short stop over time? I'm worried it's not enough time to catch my connecting flight?

Travelling on the 787 in July and I’ve booked the extra leg room seat 43H for my 6ft 4’ son. As that seat is facing a wall does it still have a tv screen to watch inflight movies - perhaps in the arm rest like the food tray?

2 answers
Lee
Lee

Hi Kathy, yes it does, it comes up from under the armrest and folds out in front. I'm 6'4" and coped with the ordinary seats well, so he'll be fine in the extra legroom seats. The only negative with the seats in front of the bulkheads is that the armrests don't fold up (because they have the screens in them). Every now and again, if you are travelling on a flight without many passengers, on the other seats you can raise the armrests and lay across the 3 seats in the row and have a good nap. You should tell him to keep his eyes open on the seats behind him if it is a light flight, because once the doors are closed, you can occupy an empty seat if there is an opportunity to take a row of three. If it is a bust flight, he'll be very happy where he is:-)

The airline is on time most of the time but keep in mine it's longhaul fleet is 4 787 dreamliners so if there is a delay you may wait a while. Mid this year there will be 5 dreamliners so delays if any will be minimise. I fly with them again next weds can't wait. Hope this helps.

I'm planning to travel on Royal Brunei Airlines from Dubai to London, tow reasons to choose this airlines were :
1- Low ticket price ( 1985 AED in comparison with 2500 AED on British Airways).
2-They offer 15 Kilos for free for travelers with students Visa and traveling to their study destination. which I need since I will be staying for the next year in London to do my masters over there .
I have not booked yet, and wondering, where is the catch ? or is it really a good deal ?

Sounds good to me :-) I'm literally just booking another return flight with them to London - just can't beat the price especially for Business. I'd say if the numbers check out then do it. Good luck with the Masters btw.

Royal brunei Airline is the worst airline, my wife was traveling From overseas to Australia her baggages was checked and been hand in to the check in disk, she had transit at Dubai airport when she arrived to Dubai and she went to the help desk for boarding pass they told her to pay about $1000 US dollar extra for the baggages other wise she can't travel, we said that we don't need the baggages you take the baggages and just give her the boarding pass and just hour was left for boarding but they said if you don't pay the $1000 dollar you can't travel and unfortunately she didn't had the $1000 so I have send them my credit card detail i said take the money from my cradit card so she can travel. But they said we don't accept the credit card details she as to pay cash, so I was so much worrying about my wife she was alone.

Then i transferred money through western union they charged me about $200 my wife received money in half an hour then she paid them and she traveled.
I was in a such a worst situation at the time and after I have complained to the royal brunei airline about that, about seven months ago but still I haven't hear anything from them so better you don't waste your important time to contact them just leave your feedback to their website so other people before they travel they know how they serving their customers.

Regards

The airline and their personnel doesn't have any customer's service etiquette at all nor decency...am sorry for...but you need to demand for av payment or else put your bad name online and report u to the ombudsmen ....am not sure if this will work...but just specific....u want them to pay that amount just price of the item not considering the stress.

Yes you are permitted to take duty free on board but it has to be consumed on board and cannot be carried off.

Also you can order the smaller bottles duty free(100ml) so you don't have to waste a large 1 litre bottle.
