Tried the S26 gold first, but baby had difficulty with constipation, switched to the original and nil issues. Baby enjoys it without side effects, growing well and price is good. It is confusing buying formula as so many options but at the end of the day they are all safe and baby will thrive on it, just have to find one that suits baby and just stick with it.

Our little one is 2 weeks old and having issues with allergy for the last 3 days; mainly around the faces. After consultation with St John of God we have two options; for now we will trial on S26 Original due to a lower Iron content.
The preparation is the same as our previous formula; 60mL per scoop
Our little one got no issue with the new formula, the feeding still the same, but the best part the allergy starting to reduce.

I purchased s26 original newborn for my son, he took to it great and then we went in to purchase the progress stage for him . Now with our second child, we have brought it again . It is quick and easy to make up and we have had no bad side effects .

This product is easy to prepare. I bought this to fill in gaps between breast feeding as my son is a massive eater and very demanding. I want to keep breast feeding... so this is a perfect price point and a quality product to meet our current new born needs.

After trying a few different formulas that didn't agree with my son's tummy, this one is the only one that was gentle enough without making him constipated. Very easy to prepare and no frothing.
The scoop sizes come in 60ml incriments which is a good size for us. Definitely recommend.

Have found this formula to work well for us, baby has been mix fed since birth - I had GD and babies blood sugar came back too low on third reading. Hospital gave baby formula to boost blood sugar and we took note of the brand - S26 regular. Have mix fed now for 10 months and no issues ever. Have avoided gold as extra iron isn’t an issue for us.

We first began using a cheap brand formual but Bub wasn't taking the bottle so we changed over to a different brand and that one too didn't work until we tried the S26 original which bingo it worked first Time given the bottle and she went off back onto drinking the bottle if not drinking more we think now

This formula caused constipation and our baby was very upset and sore. As soon as we changed to another formula he was fine. I've since been told by many friends they had the same issue. Its a shame you cant try a sample of the formula before buying the big tin. I wouldn't have purchased the big tin if i knew it was going to upset babies tummy.

This formula is always ready available at chemists and supermarkets at an affordable price. Baby certainly seems to enjoy it with no problems. The S26 Gold has extra iron and quite often causes constipation, the original is the perfect all rounder with no side effects for us. Following on to 6m+ is just as simple with S26 Progress. Well priced again and also readily available.

My baby is 9 months now this is the best formula for her.it is very easy to prepare I can go anywhere with formula.she love this formula she enjoy and drink whole bottle. No there is no side effects in my baby.. I tried gold formula but she didn't like it so I came back with this one.
I don’t get when people write it is easy to prepare as all other brands are easy to prepare! My eldest son was on this product 5 years ago, i used the Gold one. At that time ia was breast feesing as well, so we did not have major issue with his constipation. With my new baby girl recently we tried Gold one, it made her constipated, so we changed to Original. She was so unsetteled! Allthe day was not able to sleep, screaming and was collicy ! It’s been two days i have changed the formula and so far so good!
Just to add that this product is sugary!! The taste has changed! Hate new brand!

I use this formula for the infants in my childcare centre, and it’s just awesome!
No allergic reactions, babies settle well, balanced nutrients and great value for money, I would never dream of using another brand of formula for my children regardless of their developmental stage, the the best by far

Very easy to prepare, especially with the addition of the edge in the tin for scraping off excess. We used the gold last time around, but just bought the original this time and baby is thriving on it. Haven't seen any side effects, & baby drinks her bottle as fast as she can, so I guess she likes it!

This formula was given in the hospital the night my baby was born that's how I got introduced to this product.
My daughter was born underweight and this product helped her gain some weight straight away. It did give her constipation and some hard stool days but that's with every formula.

This is the second formula I tried for my newborn as I had to stop breastfeeding. My little one loves it. She was constipated when we first changed over but that only lasted about a week. The price is reasonable and it is definitely working with my baby putting on great weight and absolutely thriving!

I am a new mom and also a busy mom. Juggling between busy work and a newborn is not easy especially if u have to Breast feed your bub. This milk formula is a good substitute if you choose to bottl feed your bub. I have been using this for a while and my bub loves it.

One of the most expensive formulas on the market. Easily prepared, easy storage, quickly dissolve even with cold water (not icy cold of course!).
The plastic cover lid holds well and is tight enough for day to day travel even when toppled over.
My son was born prematurely and we relied heavily on it - does the job, baby seemed to enjoy this much more than other brands, and the Newborn does not cause constipation.
I would recommend this product as it is cheaper than the S26 Gold version and feed the baby well.
Super easy to prep just a shake and it's all dissolved.
My daughter loves it and can't wait to get the bottle in her mouth.
It did cause constipation for the 1st few days but put that down to moving from breastmilk.
Very available and stocked widely super happy with availability.

In my opinion it’s deffinately not worth the price tag, nothing special about it. I’d pay the premium for their specialty formulas like AR or LI if my baby needed it, but not for the regular newborn formulas. Also it seems to clump up in the nipple more than other brands.

We tried this to our newborn and only caused severe constipation. The formula has changed so is the quality which is worse! If you want to save your baby from pain then do not buy this terrible product! Other brands are much better than this. You have been warned. Do not buy!

*Was better for baby than S26 Gold
*Could be cheaper, but still good value for money
*I like the new packaging with the scrape off part on the tin
*Dissolves well in warm water
*Instructions are concise and informative
*The scoop is easy to use, and is good that there is a new one in each tin

Basic formula, kinda figured they're all the same, easy to prepare, dissolves with a shake of the bottle, has handy scoop leveler thingy for an accurate scoop each time, seems well tolerated but sometimes gassy (but this could be because of the little one swallowing air from the bottle) It's been around for decades, can't go wrong :)

I use this on my newborn son, great formula, great price I buy it for $17 at woolies. I have tried him on the old s26 and he seems to vomit more on it, this one is better. I never tried S26 gold, they say that makes babies vomit less, but I don't think it's the formula. Our baby has doubled in weight in 3 months from this formula, he sleeps through the night too.

I would recommend this for vegetarians. It was gentle enough for my baby and comes with a scoop. The instructions are easy and you just need to mix it with the specified amount of water. I’m aware other brands’ formulas contain omega which was derived from fish. Can’t fault this product.

Started with this for our newborn as he had trouble breastfeeding. Was great for bub early on until it was out of stock at our local supermarket. Switched to Gold which wasn't as agreeable for our son. Formula was easy to prepare and we had no issues with any side effects or constipation.
