I have just starting my babies on this formula as S26 gold was giving them bad reflux, I'm just curious because I seem to be doing something wrong as it doesn't mix very well at all and keeps blocking and having twins screaming at the same time isn't good and doesn't help my stress, I'm confused about the instructions, do you leave pre water boiled out of the fridge or in the fridge? I've been putting pre water boiled in the fridge than when it comes to feed time I heat the bottle up than add formula that's wrong isn't it? Please help

Why is there no stock of the AR formula anywhere? Everywhere says “temporary unavailable” woolies don’t stock, coles don’t stock, chemist warehouse don’t stock. This was the only formula that agreed with my baby. Now I have to change again. Not happy

Been using the AR for months and all of a sudden am now having issues with it blocking the teat. So frustrating as I'm having to stop every 2 minutes with a screaming baby to try and get it to flow. Have not changed anything and made it exactly as per instructions! So annoying because this was working so well for my daughters vomiting

Read morehe did seem to eventually go backwards slightly and start vomiting a little more, though I would say it was probably still much better than before we switched.Also just to add, I'm no expert but if it were me and there was no improvement at all over the next few days then I would consider checking with a doctor to discuss if he might be lactose intolerant.
Hi there, I am about to swap my baby boy over to s-26 AR due to spitting up at each feed on the original s-26. However my bubba will only drink the milk if it is Luke warm.
Can you mix the formula in the cooled boiled water and then warm up the bottle or will it still create lumps? We haven’t started using yet but about to at the next feed
Also, do I need to purchase new teets or should it be ok with the avent antic colic teets. Some people have recommended just making the teet hole a little bigger with a needle rather than have to make new bottles.

Thank you very much for the response. I will shop around until I find somewhere that is going to continue to carry it . I am very happy that I can still feed it to my 6 month old baby as it really agrees with him .

S26 Gold AR Is for 0-12 months, by 13 months hopefully your little one would have grown out of the reflux-y stage

What bottles do I use with S 26 Gold AR? I have the Dr Brown and changed the teet she was on teet 2 but it wasn't coming out so I changed to teet 3 but she drinks 12ml in 5 mins which is too fast she is only 11 weeks. Please help

Hi Nina, you can use any temperature water with any formula, it's totally up to you what you do. :)
I used water that hadn't cooled down completely or I heated it up in the microwave. But I think they suggest that if you want a warm bottle to sit the bottle in a jug of hot water until it's warm.

Read morermula out. You have to mix this with cold water from the fridge (out of the kettle first and then cool it in the fridge). Then you can heat it up as you normally would and it's actually a perfect consistency. I also mix in 5ml of water extra for every scoop! This helps it not be so thick, which makes my babies poo softer.
Hi my 7 weekold daughter is on s26 gold and is always in serve pain with wind and gassy. She will take for every to burp. She vomits sometimes as well, sometimes she brings up her hole bottle. Doctor put her on medication (zantac) but i was wondering if s26 gold AR formula would b fine to use or is karicare AR formula better to use incase its the formula that is causing her pain?
If she's in pain from wind then the S26 AR should be okay. But if you believe it could be the formula all together then I would try the Karicare.
