Safe N Sure Mouse Trap

I bought other traps, But these are honestly more easier to use, and to set, A Bit tricky sometimes, But when that happens, I pull the spring from the sides up to help set it, and it stops it from setting off instantaneously, But like with all plastic, They do eventually break, But i once caught in one night, Two in one trap, And the first day off setting these traps, With just a dab off peanut butter, 16 mice in one night, If i can find somewhere that i can buy in bulk,I honestly would, Minus the plastic breaking, But that was after like catching 30 mice after 2 months or so.

I could not set either trap in packet.
I followed the brief instructions provided on box closely but was unsuccessful.

We live next to a large open paddock and regularly get mice in the house and shed. We bought a couple of these traps a while ago and they work really well, much better than some of the other traps we have, and can recommend them.

100% effective can not complain - spring can dislodge but easily reposition. Have recommended & bought for neighbours no complaints all agree this is the trap that works. Safe n Sure #1 for sure.

I have read all the reviews for the Safe N Sure mousetrap - cannot believe people got them to work satisfactorily - even though I have had this type (not the same brand) of mouse trap in the past and they worked very well - the Safe N Sure is not easy to set snapping off as soon as I put it on the ground. I have tried to call the company name on the side of the packet but the telephone number is no longer connected. The email I sent to the "feedback" email address was returned to my mail box. Have Round Point Peg Co Pty Ltd left the country? I noted a review where it was recommended to put blue tack on the lid to keep it open so I will give it a try.

I have bought several packets of this product. Out of about 12 traps only one works. The rest snap shut instantaneously when I open them to add paste – even before I start to apply the paste. I have done everything I can to adjust them, but nothing works. A couple of years ago, having the same trouble, I rang the company to complain, but nothing has changed since. A waste of money, I will never buy any more.

In over 60 years of catching mice the Safe N' Sure is the best spring operated trap I have used. Those negative comments simply say the person does not understand the trap and so how to use it. 1. Mice reflex too quick for trap. Fix - Put head of trap up to wall forcing mice to come in at the side. This ensures the mouse is nipped at a small part of the mechanisms travel. 2. Trap will not set. Fix - It is a circular spring that operates on a slight over centre. Just pushing both sides of spring down a bit as set it always works for me. If that fails, just shave a small amount of plastic off the back where setting piece touches when fully back. Make sure to take off just enough for the trap to just over centre and so be very sensitive.

I am amazed at the complaints. We have been putting out traps for weeks this brand is the only one out of 4 different brands that successfully catches a mouse every night. The same bait in each. Others are cleaned off without being triggered or just completely ignored.

There is very little to be said. The trap will not stay open, but just snaps shut whatever I do. The manufacturer/distributor did not bother to return telephone calls. This product and company is rubbish. It needs to be withdrawn from sale so as to not waste customers time.

Does not stay set. Disappointing - As encouraged, purchased Australian designed product and this just makes me question doing so. Also annoying that Woolworths continues to sell an inadequate product. Do they not review their products?

Spent hours trying to set it up, following instructions on the box to the letter.
Just could not be set up to use the product, about to try for a refund.
