Nice Picture - bit of lag tho
Really nice monitor producing beautiful pictures and colour. I've loved watching movies and generally browsing on it. However, sometimes when there is quick motion, I noticed that there was some lag - probably got to do with the refresh rate. Regardless, nice product and comes with a HDMI cable - definitely recommend it.

Not bad, when it works
Functionality is good, especially with the built in wifi and smart features. Menus can be a little slow, especially when first turned on.
After just over 2 years of ownership, my tv has now died and won't turn on. I suspect the power board. Seems to be a common issue with Samsung TV's.
I probably would not buy a Samsung tv again.
Update 2018:
Samsung repaired it by putting a new power board in.
Update Feb 2022:
It has just stopped working again and will have to go back for repair a second time.

best tv i've had so far
This is my first ever smart tv and though i was intimidated at first, it was very user friendly. i use it to stream youtube etc and the picture is just crazy amazing, the sound spectacular. My techy-er partner of course thinks I could've gotten one with better specs for the price but i think it's a good buy and I am very happy with it

Repaired Under Warranty
The television worked well untill it suddenly stopped after six months.
Fortunately it was repaired under warranty.
When working the television provides a good quality picture and above average sound.
The remote has easily accessible features and the television is stylish in appearance.
I would however not purchase this television again due to its required repairs within six months of purchase that resulted in two weeks without a television.

High Quality Picture
An excellent tv. When my husband brought home an "Aldi tv special" we set it up and the picture quality was terrible. After finding a slightly smaller but similarly priced Samsung at Second's World, we returned the Aldi tv and haven't looked back. The sound quality is very good and we would purchase Samsung tv's in the future.

A nice decent TV.
I purchased this TV 49 inch from Harvey norman as they price matched it from their own ebay store. Purchased it two years. Overall, its a decent smart tv and can play all available apps like youtube, foxtel play. netflix. Sound quality is also decent. Havent tried the HDMI ports. The only issue with the TV is typing things from remote. I guess samsung can do better here.

Another great Samsung TV
We have 5 Samsung TV's in our household. All have been great and get better each time. Setting up from out of the box for finding wi-fi was very frustrating, even for me with 30 plus years in I.T.
This Smart TV, and has a great picture and great sound. We use it in our bedroom mounted from the ceiling. It easily plays all sorts of media from USB sticks or even a 1TB hard drive without any problems. It also recalls you last were if you didn't finish watching your media. Connecting to wi-fi can be an occasional issue. The TV is able to record any show at the press of a button. Remote works o.k. Really good T.V.

Great quality TV
TV functions great, the picture is fantastic, the sound is pretty good for a small telly. My only improvements would be these: when the television turns on, it can take up to a minute to connect to the internet, my other samsung smart TV takes mere seconds. Secondly, the in-built browser is so-so. If only chrome or another company would make an app available for Samsung TV's.... Otherwise, great for sport, netflix, youtube etc.

Very mixed impression! Slow, despite smart. Perhaps go with larger size" for updated 6, 7,8 series.
Only two stars as not great for price.
Sound is great, that's about the best thing though.
Picture ok, nothing great. Connectivity can be very difficult at times - we went days without, trying to troubleshoot, until we could get help from reseller. Usual story Samsung send you to ISP - ISP send you back to Samsung. Best to only use with other Samsung compatible hardware, obviously, not obvious to us on purchase - we were not advised.
It's quite slow for a smart tv. TV guide does not totally roll around you have to go up and down when reachin...Read more

Very happy with TV
We bought the UA32K5500AW to replace a Hisense 21" TV in a bedroom. We are very happy with this larger TV which doesn't dominate the area where it is placed opposite the bed. Great picture, good sound, and very pleased with the smart features which are easy to use, has a friendly interface and are fast to act. The TV has an attractive thin bezel and the profile of the TV is very thin from the top to about 1/3 from the base where it widens out slightly.

Very Disappointed.....
About a week ago, I bought a UA32K5500AW from TGG e-Bay with 20% off for $480.
In the market, there were many cheaper options, but I thought the picture quality was going to be excellent due to good quality panel with FHD.
I was so wrong, after professional calibration, the picture quality looks washed way and significantly worse than my 2014 model Sony KDL32W700C.
Sound quality is good, no complain, but PQ is below average, even with backlight 20 (100%) and contrast ration 90-100 (maximum) it fails to bring any acceptable picture qua...Read more
lity. Quad-core processor is an advantage, video streaming is good, but I am so disappointed with this model due to it's PQ (Samsung does not make 6, 7 or 8 series for 32 inch, so this was the best option with Samsung). I also compared side-by-side with a cheap Aldi brand, tv and Samsung has the inferior PQ.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Great Image and Sound Quality
The FHD Screen is perfect with great contrasts and lovely yet natural looking colours. Built-in Speakers are loud and clear. I stream Youtube using the TV and the quality and speed is amazing. This Smart TV is user friendly and also have web browsing capability. Plenty of ports but do be careful when plunging the optical cable into the digital port. Like in many devices, the Optical port Flap is flimsy.

Very good tv
Just purchased this tv as a replacement for an 8 year old panasonic (was also a good tv) - mounted it on a swivel universal wall bracket (that was a challenge - this thing uses m4 bolts and 2 different lengths - this bit is not very clear in the quick menu book that came with the TV - and there is no supply of M4 bolts or spacers to suit the back of the TV when mounting on the wall bracket so I had to buy bolts and cut them to the right length - no easy task) The set up out of the box is very simple (have seen a couple of comments that it wasnt...Read more
easy to set up but it is) Sound quality is good for its size and picture quality is very, very good. Works very well as smart tv and has a lot of good features, a lot of which wont be used much. Has plenty of connections and has optical out as well. I can only find one significant negative, otherwise would give it 5 stars - unlike my old panasonic it has no button on the remote control for sleep timer - you have to go into settings, system, time, then sleep timer and select in 30 minute increments - 15 minute increments would be better as would a select button on the remote (my old Panasonic had both).Having to drill into the system to set the timer is not an deal breaker but it is ridiculous. It would also be good if it had an sd card reader for viewing photos out of the camera. The other negative I have found is that there should be a simple menu option to turn on or turn off the WIFI - I think I have managed to turn off the constant broadcast mode so that the TV is not sending Wi-Fi blasts back and forwards in my bedroom - we should be able to only turn on the Wi-Fi and use it when we want to and all other times off - not interested in update of any Samsung or other data collection services and having Wi-Fi on when don't need to - maybe Samsung could organise a firmware update to add the Wi-Fi switch on/off in the menu.Similar opinion?
